Logs
After #3 I continued on to #4. I overshot the spot as I was expecting more of a lookout (more of a lookin-totrees). I had a reasonable search of the objects matching the hint and logged photo, but couldn't find the container so reluctantly continued on my way.
Today we headed over the Roseville Bridge to Lindfield for a newly published T5 Letterbox cache at Lindfield Rocks, then a couple of more sedate T2 Traditional caches along the Two Creeks Track. This was the 2nd of 3 finds for the day. After having some fun hanging from a rope for a T5 Letterbox cache at Lindfield Rocks, we next turned our attention to the two Traditional caches along the Two Creeks Track. Parked the geomobile in Ailsa Close, then followed the track from the small reservation ( **S33 45.661 E151 11.488** ) down to meet up with the Two Creeks Track at **S33 45.614 E151 11.516**, which we then followed along to the two caches. This was the first of the two caches we came to.Soon arrived at GZ and made a nice quick find of the cache. Signed the log, swapped a trinket, and then replaced the cache container as found. Quickly found the seagull, didn't let it steal my chips. OCW MaxAdventurer. TFTC pritchy
(3 of 4 today)Headed east to Lindfield and beyond for today's finds. Even surprised a fellow cacher who was in the process of hiding their next cache! mind you, just because I know where it is doesn't mean I can get it!Cleaned up a few recent hides out this way - including another *SideTracked* cache. HUZZAH!###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###Well the wonderful trail quickly dissolved into a typical bush track. And not level.Well, I can hope, can't I?Arrived at what looked like a bit of a random spot and started searching. Didn't spot anything at my coords so started spreading out. Finally spotted the blighter.Added my ink to the log, replaced and walked back, ready to tackle the multi.SLTNLNTFTC
Quite a few cacher names in the logbook that Im not familiar with but one day they may turn out at an event.I actually had my eye on the further one and traveled 25m past, before returning for a quick find as per hint, thanks AussieScavenger
Good exercise, probably be more careful in wet weather though. Found it pretty easy when we arrived
[FTF] @ 9:45amA soccer game nearby was cancelled due to ground conditions and so we decided to go geocaching. Saw two unfound caches relatively close to each other and decided these would be our first two targets. The track was wet and had a few puddles in places but nothing that was a show stopper. Found the cache easily enough but what was confusing was the old log in the cache container. Very confusing. So we wrote up an new clean log sheet and left it in the cache. We had the saem experience with the second cache, so our logs for both caches will be identical. Thanks Pritchy for placing the cache.
After storm clean up and plenty of sunshine I decided this afternoon it was time for a bushwalk so I came to these new caches.I entered the track from the trackhead at Ulmarra Place as I knew the location, having walked here before. I was soon walking on the lower track parallel with the river. The track was quite wet in places and there was a lot of evidence of the storms and rain from 2 days ago with debris on the track, fallen trees and very rough areas. It was all passable though. I reached GZ and easily found the cache. For me it wasn't a lookout as I'm too short to see anything but trees from this spot. There were some good viewpoints further along the track from GZ.
