A nice easy find on a lovely day for a Sunday drive in the area. There were plenty of muggles about but none taking any notice of my endeavours. TFTH
On arrival I spotted what looked a perfect hiding spot for a cache. Nice quick find here thanks zzzmee after checking a couple of those. TFTC # 22,457
12:29FITW ObnoxiousSpaceCat*Bring back, bring back, bring back my Bonnie to me...*Started from this one to go around the wee trail of geocaches in this neighbourhood. Not under the bridge but still under something...Kia ora! Paldies! Thanks for the cache, zzzmee!#11320
First find of the morning on a quick geocaching trip to Ravenswood and Pegasus with StreetWalkerNZ.Pretty sure I have been to this park before for geocaching purposes, but that was many years ago.I'd forgotten to turn my GPSr on before leaving home, so it was still very unsettled on the short walk from car to GZ.I searched one side, and SW the other, and he found the cache, though it did take him a second pass to lay hands on it. Thanks for bringing me back here and TFTC.
#24118. Found a park less than 100m from GZ, and soon after were looking for the cache. I missed the well hidden cache on my first pass, but after searching a few similar locations went back for a second look, and there it was. Nicely done. TFTC.
Thanks, zzzmee for this cache. A nice autumn afternoon. been years since i came to this park.
What a lovely wee park and bridge. Found after a bit of a fossick with coconuts3, all safe and dry. TFTC and taking us there.
Out for a fun day of geocaching with busy paws. What a cute wee park, never would of seen without geocaching. Thanks for the cache zzzmee.
Nice quick find. Signed to the accompaniment of pigeons, magpies and a chainsaw! Tftc.#10285
Such a pleasant spot and well used, as we spent some of our time saying hello to all who wandered by!! Looked with alarm at all the flaxes but happily it wasn't there. Thank you.
Was 'nearby' so popped by right on dusk. A nice wee bridge for Bonnie....and a nice wee hide. Thanks.
Decided to test ride my eMTB after chain lubrication with a 34km ride around the local area and whilst doing it dropped by my closest unfound geocache. Early in the ride I discovered that my Garmin had had a hissy fit and refused to display any unfound geocaches at all - probably due to the fact that I had installed a lithium battery that hadn't been used for about a year. The short 1 hour charge I had given it obviously had not been long enough. The lack of assistance from the Garmin just meant that I had to rely on using my cellphone to locate the cache. The cellphone got me close and then geosense took over to make the find. Thanks for the cache zzzmee.
Not often get caches published close to home so why not go for the FTF! Combined with an outing for the dog! Thanks
What a lovely gesture zzzmee to remember our dear Bonnie and it was ouickly found TFTH
