OMG I loved the puzzle for this cache, it took a small nudge from the CO and then it clicked , so very clever.today while in the area Mr Minion and I came to find it, I didn't realise the co ords had been changed at first but after I changed them, then it was thankfully a quick find at GZ just as the mozzies came out .thanks for the cacheSamuel737 tnln replaced as found sl

Well this was a journey. Slower speed than I was hoping for but we got there In the end with significant help from the CO and Buz21b's pole. A FP from me for an inventive puzzle!

OK we'll, it's rather hot, and once we found the right level, we were just able to get it with the 7foot pole....

I was at a crossroad without a map,not knowing which way to go until one of the CO's gave me a little direction in solving the puzzle at a recent event. Armed the the coords, I made my way slowly to GZ which meant no speeding fines or demerit points were issued. Do red cars really go faster? TFTC Samuel737

TFTC and the puzzle. Deni_f put me in the right lane about how to solve this cache. A favourite from me for the cache and the way to solve and retrieve the cache. We didnt know we were being observed by a family and when we went back to the car they were waiting for us to ask what we were doing as they have been intrigued about the object in the tree. So we told them about geocaching and they thought it was an interesting activity.

My eyes were going buggy, but then I had an epiphany. Not very speedy of me!At GZ I needed a bit of lateral (er, make that vertical) thinking, on both ends of the pole. Thanks for another great puzzle 737s!

Vroom vroom...I needed considerable help with this puzzle from someone who also had considerable help from someone else. And again, I left the fishing to Deni F. TFTC

Find#2404Had to find some caches on the last day of the holidays and this was the tenth and last one on my list. I have had a lot of help from Mighty Minions to solve this puzzle and have learnt so much in doing so. I wish I could give it more than one favourite as the puzzle was excellent and the cache just as much fun. Cache and log in excellent condition. TFTC

Youngest geokid and I doing some caching around the Wallsend/ greater Newie area today. Quite a number of new caches since we were last up here in earnest. Brought a good selection of TOTTs with us, as well as having the monkey of team novo with me today. Another interesting looking puzzle which was barely days old when I stumbled across it to add the 4th green tick. Speaking of limits this one was almost at the limits of our TOTT and thankfully the branches below it aided in the successful but surgical extraction. Getting it back wasn't as tough as we were expecting but just as we were setting up for the return, the heavens opened up which certainly didn't help! TFTC and puzz, Samuel737.#1963

FTF at 1pm.When I first looked at this puzzle yesterday I was overthinking it, but a bit later I had another idea and, dashing back over to the computer, some promising-looking coordinates started dropping out and soon I had something the checker agreed with. Given the "Stealth required" attribute, I wasn't sure whether to head north today or leave it for a weekday but in the end, and with nothing else planned, I had an early (i.e. still on DST) lunch and set out in search of that speeding car. Speaking of which, there were plenty of those flying past me on the M1, as well as the usual Sunday convoy of L-platers, so maybe a weekday might have been better.Anyway, after a DNF at a cache along the way, I arrived at GZ where the reasonably thick forest looked like it might make stealthiness reasonably possible, but such thoughts disappeared when every dog in the neighbourhood started barking its head off the moment I stepped from the car. Once at GZ, I quickly spotted the speedy red car and set about retrieving it from the tree it had climbed. I managed to hook it first go, lower it, open it and sign the log without losing anything in the thick undergrowth. Returning it to its perch was another matter, though. On my first attempt, it jumped off the hook part way up. I saw where it landed in the knee-high undergrowth and thought, being bright red, it should be easy to spot, but no, it had completely vanished. *How was that possible?* I did eventually find it, discovering it had landed belly-up with none of its red duco showing. On my next attempt, I managed to balance it right on the end of its perch but, in attempting to get it to slide along, it jumped off instead and landed back in the undergrowth, fortunately roof-up this time. Thinking it might be easier from the other side, I moved everything around and tried again, but halfway up my pole decided to telescope in upon itself. I was nearly getting to the point of calling the CO and asking him to put it back for me, but finally on my next attempt I succeeded. Yay!Many thanks and an FP for an enjoyable puzzle and challenging themed hide, well worth the trip up.
