Logs
Signed the log today and hopefully won't forget to log once I'm eligible for this challenge. Took some time to locate the hide due to GPS bounce. In the planning phase last week seems I'm two Trad DTs short of claiming. Until then TFTC ATLH.
Alas we were cache blind here and it took a PAF to the lovely CO which of course resulted in ARF locating it whilst I was messaging ! Magic of the PAF! Need to check if I qualify but love a good challenge TFTC
We had the opportunity to spend some time exploring the region and were lucky to have perfect winter weather for it. We visited some wonderful sites, enjoyed some spectacular views and discovered some interesting history along the way. This was our final day and I couldnt leave without dropping in to sign this challenge. Unfortunately I meet all criteria except five countries so I have sent a message pleading for the wildcard.A pretty little spot for cache to call home. Thanks AtTheLakeHouse
I was heading home via Cooroy today and saw this blue question mark on my map. Not sure why I haven't seen it before but decided to detour to check it out. Once parked near GZ I stuck my finger on the checker button and was rewarded with a green tick. So I headed off and was soon at GZ where I soon had the cache in hand. I signed the log and then all was returned as found.A FP from me.TFTC ATL I took along some trackables for a visit.
Caching in the area so detoured over. A short distance in and made the find. No problems qualifying. We completed the signing duties and re hid. *TTF* Third to Find joint with [chamad](https://coord.info/PRPP06G) / *STF* Second to Find as a group at 08:40 hr.This was our first cache for the day, and we had hoped to be its first official visitors, not realising that another group had a similar plan. It was only when we arrived, that we realised that we had been pipped at the finish line. Nevertheless, it was a good challenge that both [chamad](https://coord.info/PRPP06G) and I were looking forward to finding. It was a well-themed challenge to start the day given the afternoon's event that we were attending, and having been around the traps long enough, I was fortunate to qualify for the set requirements, and included the bonus point for five continents! I've yet to geocache in South America and Antarctica. It was a really nice spot next to the stream, but we struggled with this geocache find. We spent a good 20 min searching around various angles, and talking out loud our suspicions with the cache type and height. Eventually, I made the find at an area that I had briefly looked at, but it was hidden from an angle that I had searched before. The coordinates seemed to be bouncing around underneath the tree cover, but my GPS appeared to indicate the cache about 10 m out, with S 26 25.454' E 152 56.661' indicating a better match. Other than the location, the cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks [AtTheLakeHouse](https://coord.info/PRT08AC) for the challenge creativity, cache placement and ongoing maintenance.I used [Project-GC](https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GCAKZBW/87619 "Project-GC Challenge Checker") to see if I qualified for this challenge, and I did. I have: attended six events in different Australian states/regions, and required five; 38 total D-T loops, and required five; found five "Challenge cache" attribute geocaches in five states/regions, and required five: Australian Capital Territory: 64 caches, and required five; New South Wales: 26 caches , and required five; Queensland: 185 caches, and required five; South Australia: 90 caches, and required five; and Victoria: 129 caches, and required five; found caches in 25 countries, and required five; and found seven different types that D-T = 5, and required five: nine different types of T = 4.0, D = 1.0, and required five; seven different types of T = 3.5, D = 1.5, and required five; six different types of T = 3.0, D = 2.0, and required five; six different types of T = 2.5, D = 2.5, and required five; six different types of T = 2.0, D = 3.0, and required five; six different types of T = 1.5, D = 3.5, and required five; and six different types of T = 1.0, D = 4.0, and required five.I have attended events in six Australian states, which includes: **Victoria** [The Parkville Saturday Night BBQ (GC7QBMC)](http://coord.info/GC7QBMC) | 2018-11-17 **Tasmania** [Launceston Meet and Greet (GC9MQD0)](http://coord.info/GC9MQD0) | 2022-02-13 **South Australia** [Light's Vision (GCAH0YJ)](http://coord.info/GCAH0YJ) | 2024-03-02 **Queensland** [Community Celebration Event - Milestone Party (GC8ZEJR)](http://coord.info/GC8ZEJR) | 2021-03-27 **New South Wales** [Community Celebration Event - On the Border! We then hopped across the Cooroy - Noosa Road, and travelled along Sunrise Road, stopping for a few walks within Tinbeerwah Forest Reserve, and escaping for a late lunch at Tewantin. As it approached late afternoon, we utilised our remaining time around Cooroy, which included a few oldies adjacent to the M1 highway. A terrific day out and about, exploring the Noosa shire!
Today I was lucky to get out and go north with Davidwazza for some long walks and some caches that were of particular interest. To be included and finish off the day was an event on the lake in cooroy area. It was a fun day and we got in a good range of caches some I had been to already, it was good to refresh the memory, and some that were just fun to get. On most walks I think at least one of us would have mentioned "this is good leach area", lol. I know I thought it at most caches. However i ended the day with a full body check and no hitch hikers today, phew.We signed the logs and replaced caches where they were found. We had two DNF's and a nice bag of types and sizes with DT's to match. Some good chats and we solved the worlds problems all in a day.We arrived to this one just as the FTF had gone. No problem it was not one I needed for a date or grid, so we were just happy to find and sign. Thanks for a great Challenge and Yep I qualify, lol. Love it, well done and a Favourite point here. Joint {*FTF*} with GreenGecko 1 this morning. On our way to do some caching and saw this challenge available and so a side track to our plan A saw us in Cooroy picking up this fabulous cache. Thank you AttheLakeHouse for placing this most difficult challenge. Where as GG1 automatically qualified I needed to circumnavigate the glide a couple of times (49.99 times). Thanks for putting in the wildcard option and a fav point from me.
{*FTF*} with Muggle65 this morning. Very wet around GZ this morning. Great challenge. A fave point from me
Qualify for the hard parts but now have to wait for the d/t I need that are closer to home.
