Logs
Out caching with xambo4u and one of pinnacle333 in the Kilsyth / Montrose area.A beautiful spreading tree, nice place to search. Log is wet and hard to sign, but we managed to leave our mark. Thanks for placing this cache BossConner.
Rounding out a lovely arvo caching with echidna44 and xambo4u this was our final stop for the day. A novel idea even if a bit wet to sign on. Let's hope this stays a green wedge and doesn't get built out. TFTC BossConner
Log is a bit damp, however, given the council revamp of the area, I will wait to replace it until I see what is happening with the area. Possible the hide location is removed completely by council
Out with echidna44 and Pinnicale333 for a great day of caching. Have just had 2 DNF we needed to end on a find. We have come across this style before. Alas log book was wet and paper not writeable. What is going to happen to this area I wonder. Thanks BossConner
Nice easy find. Shame it's days are numbered, this was a great little reserve the kids used to ride their bikes in, nothing gets in the way of development, to much money to be made. Tftc
Took a while but got there in the end. Logbook is very wet and barely signable, otherwise all is in good condition. TFTC
Out for a days caching around Montrose/Kilsyth, I headed for this cache. I hunted around GZ, and found nothing, so I read some logs and was able to narrow down the search area. After some more hunting, I finally spotted the cache. This is a very clever idea, the camo is excellent and it blends in very well.
Omg! Would not have found this if it wasnt for the previous comments. Genius and interesting. thank you

After art class, I decided to do a few caches. I was a bit baffled by this initially but soon made the find. Loved the log book. Spotted the remnants of a possum nest, too. Thanks for the cache.
*Found on the 26 May 2024 @ 4:11PM.**Cache find # 15637.* Today was all about finding iTEEM caches but to finish the day off there were a couple of BossConner caches to be found as I was driving passed them. This was the first of two, I headed to the other side of the fence and was able to make a quick find of the cache which certainly has an interesting log which doesn't have a lot of space left, I have found a few like this now but it's always an interesting find.**Thanks to BossConner for keeping the game going by placing this cache.**
Thanks for the Cache Bossconner,Very inventive, beautifully disguised, took me some time to "see" it.Regards from Victourer
I needed to return a borrowed kayak which I have had for a few weeks longer than I should have, so I arranged to drop it off and catch up with OzHockeyChick for some after work caching. We arrived to find we were on the wrong side of the fence. After correcting our locational challenge I soon spotted this one and signed the novel log book.A big thanks goes to BossConner for taking the time to add Timber Tapestry to the geocaching map for us all to find and enjoy.----------------------------------------------------------The nominees for the [**2023 Victorian Cache of the Year Awards** ](https://geocachingvictoria.com.au/2023-victorian-cache-of-the-year-awards/) have been announced. A bit of after-work caching in what little daylight remains these days. Upon arrival we realised wed need to be on the other side of the fence. We found a small gap and went through. Then RoamingHowie quickly spotted the nicely camoed cache. Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, BossConner ~~
Out and about with TanSaf today targeting some of of BossConnors caches. We arrived close by GZ and were happy to see a coffee van in situ and wandered off to collect the two nearby caches. Unfortunately by the time we got back the van had gone .. oh well we had BossConnors nearby Multi on the list at the Montrose shops..there will be coffee there. It was a short walk to GZ and TanSaf was first to put her hand on the cache. It was nicely disguised and quickly signed before replacing. thanks BossConnor for the cache
Out caching in the Montrose area with skylizard. Parked nearby and strolled down to the location. Enjoyed the novelty of this cache, very creative. A favourite from me. TFTC
Thanks BossConner. This the site of my high school with much shenanigans going on up here. Thanks for the cache, very creative. Giddy up
Out on an errand today, so stopped by on this chilly morning to find a few caches. This was the first, and I suspect was easier to spot than intended due to not having been reset correctly by the previous finders. After signing, I reset as best I thought how, and let the CO know. TFTC BossConner, and for continuing to add to our richness of local caches
What an awesome and clever cache. Took us a little while but found it in the end!
What can I say about this one.....it was definately a favourite for me today even though it took Crustyvarmint and I some time, and a return trip to finally locate it. You really do have to be just at the right angle for this one. A very well thought out and executed cache. Sending a favourite your way, thanks BossConnor for this cache.
I was out caching today with Redcb, and we arrived here full of enthusiasm after some nice finds nearby. Unfortunately I had downloaded the cache info prior to the relocation log, and we spent quite some time looking for something completely different. It was decided to move on to find another, nearby, cache. Returning to the car, we decided to have another quick look and Redcb was in just the right position to spot the well camoed cache.Nicely done BossConner. A favourite point coming your way.
We found this cache today on our Kilsyth and Montrose Meander. Funnily enough, although it is a very unique type of cache, this is the 6th that we have seen like this, and we have loved them all. Our 11th find in this park. It was also our 250th 5TF. Thanks from D & HA B-A

Turns out I was on a much different wavelength than the finders. I have slightly tweaked the design so it is more in line with what I had planned originally
Out and about with My good caching mate Omegaman1971, there are always plenty of laughs while we are turning caches into smiles. This is one of the caches found today. Thanks BossConner for the cache.

[FTF]I had just finished up work and checked my personal email account and saw that a new cache had been published. It was already 30 minutes since the notification went out and it would take me about 10-15 min to get there. But there were no online logs so I thought to give it a crack. I was hoping the local FTF hounds (you know who you are ) would still be wrapping up work or assuming the cache would be gone by now, nearly an hour after publication. I wasn't terribly confident upon arrival, as I spotted a lone car parked a few metres from GZ. As I was figuring out which side of the fence to venture, I smiled with a knowing look at the lady in the car who was on her phone (dammit, probably logging the cache) . Instead I got an awkward smile back. Perhaps not a geocacher then? After walking around to the correct side of the fence I quickly found the cache, but had to be stealthy as the lady in the car was still right there fiddling on her phone. Fortunately it didn't take long to access and I was very pleased to see a blank log. Thanks again BossConnor for the interesting caches. Great work!
