Nice quick find today as we visit the area. Well done for your first cache! TFTC
Never knew there were shops here, I am obviously a south sider. TFTC.
DNF, had a good look around the protective metal things, and the metal bits of the nearby seat, but no luck, any hints?
A quick find, but the large spider didnt want to surrender the container. Easier to search in the muggle free dark! Thanks for the cache Rednight2000
Always enjoy a super urban cache find, something a bit different. Usually hidden in locations Ive been too hundreds of times before, but havent ever found a cache or been brave enough to hide my own! Amaroo Shops is a great example! The coordinates were absolutely spot on, so the cache was quickly located after a sweep of the object at GZ. TFTC
North side for another evening cache outing before the lite fades (the days are way too short atm). It was dark now, which might not have helped. I looked for a long time, always from the wrog angles. Ready to give up, red some logs and since it was found very recently I tried again. Bingo. Now I was thursty and went inside for a beer. I can recomend the Beechworth Pale Ale, not on tap everywhere and yummy. Thank you Rednight2000 for putting the cache out, maintaining it and contributing to this great hobby we have. Happy trails, Flintstone's-()-+
Due to the current schooling situation, this Monday ended up as a pupil-free day! Ill take that any day of the week (even though its only ever a Monday but ah well).I was quite tired from my action-packed trip to Sydney, but I decided to cap out the holidays with a quick trip up to Gungahlin to go grab some of the newer trads that have appeared recently. It was a rather pleasant bike ride over some familiar ground, and quite successful in the end despite me taking a bit longer than I had planned.A nice pit stop on the way back home to go pick up this cache!Very glad it was a pupil-free day round Canberra since it was about 3:30pm at this point and I didnt feel like getting swamped by kids from Amaroo High nearby.Instead, no muggles around which allowed me to quickly locate the cache!Took a bit to get the log under control and sign it, but persistence paid off!Returned the cache and off to the next one! Thanks to Rednight2000for placing this cache!
I found it after a little while because a little kid had grabbed it and was playing with it, thankfully his mum grabbed it and put it back TFTC, rednight
Out with Tankengine Found this one at lunch time. So across the road to the coffeeS. Kutgw
We were in the area doing some grocery shopping on a cold Saturday Canberra afternoon. Spotted by the Geokids in no time. Such a small sneaky cache in a busy muggle area. TFTC
It was very hard for me and my friends its also our first time so it took two days
Technically this is my second time looking for this cache; DNF'd a few days ago looking for this at night, however it wasn't a very thorough look so I discounted it. Came back tonight, bitterly cold but thankfully lit up by the nightlights of the bar and found it after some perusing. Cheating to find this one at night? Probably. Definitely the smallest cache I've ever found and signed. Good spot, TFTC!
FFLL and i drive around the Canberra for half day today and Weather bit cold and less Sunny... Tks
Nice find this afternoon, the muggle factor definitely upped the difficulty for me! After waiting for people to pass and then thinking of the least suspicious way possible to peruse the objects around GZ and a bit of back and forthing, it all paid off as I spotted it! Maybe next time it's not a great idea to go find a cache in a shops area on a Sunday afternoon TFTC )
Found with MilesMorales2 Another new cache published whilst overseas. Turned left after a swim instead of right and was soon at a familiar space, the eldests footy coach owns Stonehouse, the pub across from GZ (highly recommend their choice of draft beers).Cache sneakily found, signed and replaced. TNLNSL TFTC
Taking the opportunity to pick this one up on ANZAC day in the morning while the shops are all shut.Had to wait for a muggle on a bike, but otherwise it was very quiet.Beautiful autumn day too. Thanks for the cache Rednight2000

#19560 - 8:35:00 AM; Spotted the notification for this new cache on my morning email browse and a quick check confirmed my suspicions about possible location. Made a bolt for the door and arrived to find all was quiet at GZ and I soon had the cache in hand and my first *FTF* for quite some time! TFTC Rednight2000
