After a few attempts I finally found this one! Yay! Great, fun hide on one of my fave trails. TTFC
The Western Escarpment walking track has been damaged by fire and is closed for repairs from Sunday 22 September 2024.
After a work gig somewhere over there or here, lets go geocaching. Another easy find, also tackling non-traditional hides where possible. My find count: 2185 Thanks oldmorty for giving this cache for everyone to enjoy.
Located at 11:58am. #1597.Full log to follow.??????? ???????! Baruch Hashem! TFTMC! Much obliged for the placement Oldmorty!Kindest Regards, - Alephroom.
This finishes our circuit walk around this headland. A very nice set of caches. We appreciate the accurate coords and generous hints to make the finds quicker for us. TFTC oldmorty
This was the 10th of Many caches found on my day out caching in the Eastern Suburbs. This was the last cache I did in the Maroubra area, and the only one I did on this track, there are a lot more caches for me to find in this area, so I will have to return eventually. thanks for the cache oldmorty.
With the sun peeking out after rain this morning and a car that needed a wash, I snuck down her for the last 2 offerings along this track. Not a soul to be seen so jumoing down and under here wasnt an issue. Nice easy find with perfect hint. TFTC!
wow the smell of wattle hits you immediately at the start of the trail. easy first find today.approaching muggle: you right?me: yeah i... um... i dropped something!muggle: ok
Found after lying down and having a good look. Had a couple of joggers run over me!
TFTC Thank you for hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity. Great hint.
It was beautifully sunny when I left home, but very very windy.By the time I'd parked my geomobile it was overcast and rather dismal looking and the dark clouds just off the coast showed nearby rain. Still I'm here so I'm going to do this caching thing.I set off, maybe a few rain drops but OK. I reached GZ and did what was required and then of course 2 muggles came along. How lucky was I to find "my dropped pen"! Once they were gone I retrieved the cache, signed the log and replaced it without any further muggle interruptions.TFTC # 6093
Even though I found the originals, I don't remember the exact hide. Thanks for always making your caches so clear and easy to find with great hints. I think half of Sydney was here today. I gave up thinking of doing the circuit walk. It was bad enough dodging the muggles here.
Quick find when wazza9 got on his knees, thought he might propose again, but no came up with log sheet. Stamped log and replaced. Thanks for oldmorty
TFTC,On a go, looking to lifts my finds for this date in my statistics to 15. After a couple of DNF's, it was time to go to the caches from a CO we could trust. Visited trackables
Nice walk with the CO before heading back to McKeon Street for some afternoon tea.
Quick find with helpful hint. Had to add a slip of paper as log was missing. It's def the right cache as it has a Geocaching symbol sticker on it. TFTC
[FTF] here today!!! Woohoo to blank logs.I was at home last night when I saw these close by caches published and thought to myself Ill head out in the morning and see if any are still not found after my two meetings, I had an 8am and a 9:20am. Surely enough these western escarpment ones were still up for FTF. The first one had me looking and feeling a lot, while the second one had me scratching my head for a couple of minutes but they were both hidden as the hints suggest. What a beautiful autumn morning in Sydney, Ive spent the past three weeks away, one in Canberra and two in Melbourne. I can tell you its already winter in Melbourne. Its kinda still summer in Sydney. No need for a hoodie here.yet.Thanks oldmorty for resurrecting these caches, its a beautiful track always filled with birds and lizards scurrying out of the way possibly snakes too but Ive never seen one. TFTC
After chasing cats around a park with GeodogZelda, GHHH and the CO, we made our way to South Maroubra. I have been here before and remembered that as it is NP, geodogs are not allowed. So the CO kindly minded GDZ while we went hunting. This was a very quick find thanks to a clear hint. A nice day to be out for a stroll along the boardwalk. TFTC
