Logs
The Western Escarpment walking track has been damaged by fire and is closed for repairs from Sunday 22 September 2024.
After a work gig somewhere over there or here, lets go geocaching. Another easy find, also tackling non-traditional hides where possible. Thanks oldmorty for giving this cache for everyone to search for.
Located at 12:05pm. #1598.Full log to follow.??????? ???????! Baruch Hashem! TFTMC! Much obliged for the placement Oldmorty!Kindest Regards, - Alephroom.
With the sun peeking out after rain this morning and a car that needed a wash, I snuck down her for the last 2 offerings along this track. Wandering on from the last quick find I was soon perusing all the land that the shooting range took up. Seems a little mean having this massive green space just for shooting. Spied the cache container whilst on the boardwalk and again, no one to bother me whilst I headed to the fence. TFTC!
Great find, just be careful of the barbed wire at the top of the fence for my fellow tall geocachers standing up from retrieving it
quick find here! thats 4/4 today and my 400th find. thanks for another easy and fun series
TFTC Thank you for hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity.
So having found #1 I took one step towards this one and down came the rain. Pretty heavy too!!Oh well, it's only water.I walked on and at the appropriate place left the track. Luckily this was quite a sheltered spot. Once I'd completed the legal stuff I rejoined the track and walked back in the rain to the geomobile. What a shame you can't walk your geodog along this track. I can't see how a dog on a lead could possibly be a problem.TFTC # 6094
This was much easier to access than the other one especially with a steady stream of muggles. Nice hide and really helpful hint.
I decided to check other fences, made a quick find. Stamped log and replaced. Thanks to oldmorty
TFTC,On a go, looking to lifts my finds for this date in my statistics to 15.Nana got this one, Visited trackables.
Nice walk with the CO before heading back to McKeon Street for some afternoon tea.Ps Nice hide
[FTF] here today!!! Woohoo to blank logs.I was at home last night when I saw these close by caches published and thought to myself Ill head out in the morning and see if any are still not found after my two meetings, I had an 8am and a 9:20am. Surely enough these western escarpment ones were still up for FTF. The first one had me looking and feeling a lot, while the second one had me scratching my head for a couple of minutes but they were both hidden as the hints suggest. What a beautiful autumn morning in Sydney, Ive spent the past three weeks away, one in Canberra and two in Melbourne. I can tell you its already winter in Melbourne. Its kinda still summer in Sydney. No need for a hoodie here.yet.Thanks oldmorty for resurrecting these caches, its a beautiful track always filled with birds and lizards scurrying out of the way possibly snakes too but Ive never seen one. TFTC
After chasing cats around a park with GeodogZelda, GHHH and the CO, we made our way to South Maroubra. I have been here before and remembered that as it is NP, geodogs are not allowed. So the CO kindly minded GDZ while we went hunting. Another quick find while taking the trail. Again the hint and coords were spot on. Now it's time for a coffee and a rest after all the walking today. TFTC
Found after a bit of a search and reading the hint. Thanks oldmorty for the cache!
