I have been wanting to find the [CO's](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=1ded3729-fe62-40bb-9f5f-fd559e7163b1&wid=2085951b-47cf-49af-aaa6-c54e1344cdd9&ds=2) [Used 2B an AR_ Cache (GCANYEV)](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GCANYEV_used-2b-an-ar-cache), letterbox cache for quite a while now, as it is a **letterbox** cache with the **"Not Medium hike (1 km-10 km)"** attribute, a combination I needed for [RoamingHowie's](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=24963346-56c5-4daf-8308-a01f60f5a5ba&wid=dfceb3a0-dd55-40bc-adec-d306f562462f&ds=2) challenge cache, [WCW - Letterbox Attribute Challenge (GC9Z59P)](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC9Z59P). However, with the amount of hiking involved I knew I was going to need a fair amount of time to complete that one as I typically never have enough time after work to do so. Well I ended up working a bit of overtime throughout this week and so the boss let me off a few hours early today. So with my spare time today, I decided to finally tackle the [CO's](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=1ded3729-fe62-40bb-9f5f-fd559e7163b1&wid=2085951b-47cf-49af-aaa6-c54e1344cdd9&ds=2) [Used 2B an AR_ Cache (GCANYEV)](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GCANYEV_used-2b-an-ar-cache), letterbox cache and this one as well.So after work I hopped in the geomobile and made my to the nearest parking location. I had already performed the first projection at home and so I immediately made my way to Waypoint 2. With the weather being sunny and warm today it was the perfect weather to get out for a bit of hiking. Like the cache page warned *"If you are not a fan of off track walking, maybe this one is not for you,"* however, I am a big fan of off-track walking and so I was more than keen to get out into the bush. I ended up basically making a straight beeline to Waypoint 2. For the most part I was able to navigate my off-track bush walking fairly easily, and I only hit a rough part about half way through, but was able to navigate out of it without too much effort. Eventually, I was able to make my way to Waypoint 2, where I was quickly able to find the hanging bison and the information I needed for the next Waypoint. Then I was off on yet another beautiful hike. Luckily this time the walk was a lot of easier. Once I got to the next Waypoint, I thought I had made it to GZ, however as I arrived, I spotted the telltale sign of a cache. *mmhmm... the cache page mentioned the cache was a regular...*However what I was looking at was a small at best, well it appears the [CO](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=1ded3729-fe62-40bb-9f5f-fd559e7163b1&wid=2085951b-47cf-49af-aaa6-c54e1344cdd9&ds=2) had one last trick up his sleeve and set me on yet again, this time to the true GZ. Well the cache at GZ was much more cleverly hidden. It took a lot of circling before I accidentally *"stumbled"* across the well hidden cache, an excellent hiding spot indeed.A big thanks goes to [ahomburg](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=1ded3729-fe62-40bb-9f5f-fd559e7163b1&wid=2085951b-47cf-49af-aaa6-c54e1344cdd9&ds=2) for giving me another great excuse to come out here and enjoy one of the most beautiful areas in all of Victoria. TFTC.**Cache Maintenance Status:**All of the containers at the various waypoints were in good shape and their associated attachment mechanisms still seemed strong. At GZ all of the inner contents were nice and dry and the logbook was clean with plenty of room for future cache finders to sign.
*Found on the 10 Nov 2024 @ 1:14pm.**Cache find # 16043.* Today I headed over to Churchill and Lysterfield parks for a bit of a stroll around to find a few caches and with a spot of cache fishing thrown in now and then.I had started this earlier on and noted where the next waypoint was, so after a spot of fishing, I then continued on with this one which ended up taking me to an interesting spot and eventually I was at GZ where I was able to make a quick find.**Thanks to ahomburg for keeping the game going by placing this cache.**
Decided to head out with Fleabag for a couple of hours to do some tree fishing and go for a bush walk, we had 6 of us to help with the locating of things.I had the first projection worked out from home and this worked nicely as a round trip back to the car.Well hidden at GZ, couldn't see it for a little because one of the kids was sitting above and we didn't notice. We thought we head read the clue wrong and went and checked it again. Thanks ahomburg for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun. A favourite from me.
Out with Spiffy- and our geofamilies for a walk and some fishing. We thought to do this too. Bit of bush bashing to WP2 and then at GZ we did some circle work and it was finally found. Fav.Thanks to ahomburg for the fun and the adventure.
Again I was surprised with the vastness of Lysterfield I think this was my 4/5th walk here. And again I enjoyed it immensely...Waypoint 1 was calculated from home I had no issues getting to or finding the information I needed to get to what I thought was the final but wasn't lol...yes Tiz13 did things the unconventional way..her Geo senses were very alert today lol...

The start of supposedly another quiet week at work and on the roads with it being school holidays. I'm not exactly sure about the 'quiet' part, but I left work early, and with the sun just showing came to Lysterfield for another enjoyable walk.I'm one of those hikers that strongely believes that the quickest route is a straight line from A to B. As such, from the posted coordinates, I walked about 550 meters in a Westerly direction. OK, it might not have been the fastest way there, but I got to see part of Lysterfield Park that I hadn't seen before.Once I found the first way point, it didn't take too long until I was signing the log book. A good mixture of hides, a great area of the park that I had meant to visit, and overall, a great favourite adventure. Thanks for the cache, A Homburg.HunterPS.6,862nd Geocache163rd Letterbox Geocache459th [FTF]
