Thanks to everyone who attended and helped Team Webguy celebrate his 20 years of Geocaching.
Ooops, almost forgot to log this event ...It's worth celebrating these important milestones and keeping in touch with others who have been on a similar journey of discovery through caching. Congratulations, Team Webguy, on 20 years of looking for Tupperware using GPS technology. It was a very pleasant evening in the tavern where we had a large table and many people had dinner. Nice to catch up with some cachers from this side of Sydney that I haven't seen in quite a while, and also to meet some people whose names I have seen in logs but hadn't met in person before. Thanks, DangerQueen, for organising the event. It was a great way to round off the week, too.
Great to catch up with some familiar faces and new faces, bringing Graubunden over for yarns. Wonderful milestone, 20 years of geocaching! Team Webguy. Thanks DangerQueen for hosting this meet
Its been wonderful to meeting you all today. Happy 20th geocaching anniversary, Team Webguy
Thankyou so much to all who came tonight, some of whom have been caching way longer than me. Thanks so much to DangerQueen for organising the event.
3 May 2024Find Number: 9699Streak Day: 3060Had some dinner before the event and then dropped by to say hello. Congratulations on your anniversary. Thanks to DangerQueen for Hosting this Event
Heading to Blue Mts for a conference over the weekend, the purpose., the timing and the location of this event aligned well for me.Knowing Webby and his family since they started caching has been an honour. To see him achieve 20 years of caching is fantastic and it was great to be part of the celebration. It was so good to catch up with some of the old caching crowd, thanks to Riblet for the trackables and thanks to DangerQueen for organising the event.TFTE??
Well, that was a good get together. Met some lovely people and witnessed some well-traveled geocachers having a good old reminisce! Good fun.
Made the trip up from The Gong this evening to help Webby celebrate 20 years of geocaching. That's a long time. Was great to see a few faces that I had not seen in a long time, and meet some new caches too. I hadn't seen EcoDave since before I was a Cacher! Shame I could not stay for longer, but I've got a lot to try and cram into this weekend. Thanks for organising, here's to 20 more years!Cheers
A good night, I caught up with some catchers from the early days as well as some from a few years ago.
Congrats Webguy on 20years of hunting plastic using billion dollar satellites. Thanks to DangerQueen for organising the event. Nice to catch up with Ecoteam Dave, Nic and offspring, Riblit and Dave Rats and others. Stories were told, laughter was heard.
#7449- It was great to be able to duck down to the local, and celebrate Webbys 20th anniversary with him and catch up with a host of other legends of the caching community too. Back in 2010 when I was the newbie, I remember getting lots of great advice at the Bluies event from this true legend of caching. Good to finally meet some other big cachers too and catch up with ones I know. Thanks to riblit too for the chat- good to see you again and for the pathtags. And a Blue Switch souvenir too. A great event - thanks Danger Queen for organising. Wish I could give it a favourite.
I ended up attending solo due to family dramas. But, I couldnt miss out in the chance to catch up with one of the first cachers to look after me, mentor me and inspire me. So much that my boys demanded I change my name from Canary to Team Canary to be like Team Webguy. Our Teams have outgrown us but new members will continue the love of the hobby. TFTE.
A wonderfully enjoyable evening catching up with many I haven't seen for a while and a few I'd known only from a distance for many years. Happy Anniversary Webguy. Thanks DangerQueen.
Streak Day #3949 - Enjoyed some dinner before the event for Dave8153's birthday, then stopped by for a quick meet and greet. TFTE
Nice spot for an event and a good turnout as well. Congratulations on 20 years, that's a lot of geocaching! Thanks DangerQueen for the event!
Somewhere local to meet geocachers, particularly those whom Ive interacted via GC Message Centre alone. Count me in, Auslan interpreter secured for you all. Time to put a few more faces to nametags
It will be interesting. Been to this pub so many times. I have been geocaching for only 12 years.
Congratulations Webby on your 20 years of Geo-fun. I would have loved to have attended your celebration but unfortunately, I have another engagement booked in that day.Hope to catch up at another event soon.Cheers.
Congratulations on the 20 years Webby. I am aiming to be at the event to help you celebrate such a momentous milestone!Cheers,Hoojar (Greg)
Sorry, on our way north to the National Riley Rally. Have a great 20th Geocaching Birthday. Sharing with Blue Switch day is even better.
