Thank you for hosting this geocaching Event! The date of the Event has passed. We automatically archive Events after 30 days (60 days for Mega- and Giga-Events). Attendees can still log archived Events, log trackables, and share their experiences.
Thank you everyone who turned up to this event. It was good to see so many there in the drizzling rain for breakfast and the release of caches.
*FTF* First to Find joint with everyone.A phenomenal breakfast - kudos to the CO family team! I had only RSVP-d yesterday, so I wasn't expecting the event to be catered / me to be considered. I had already planned to walk up the road and grab a takeaway coffee / muffin breakfast. However, the CO team enthusiastically mentioned that there was enough breakfast to be shared, so I returned and enjoyed the bacon and eggs BBQ that was cooked up, which tasted even better beneath the rain drizzle. Thanks [MummaBear66](https://coord.info/PR11AT86) and team for the event organisation and hosting! ---------- Today's activities consisted of the planned Woodford May Day activities. After running Parkrun Glass House Mountains Conservation parkrun, I arrived in time for the [May Day in Moreton Bay - Breakfast](https://coord.info/GCAP7F3) event, and then joined [chamad](https://coord.info/PRPP06G) and [tuppens](https://coord.info/PRGYCFZ) exploring the area. Once we had finished with the newly placed/published geocaches, I utilised my remaining time in Woodford to head north and visited Stanmore, the fringes of Bellthorpe National Park, and then travelled part-way east towards Peachester, before turning around in time for the Woodford [May Day Event Dinner](https://coord.info/GCAP2PE) event.
Dear Geocaching Community,What a delightful morning it was to kick off May Day festivities in Morton Bay! The scent of sizzling bacon and eggs wafted through the air as we gathered near the Big Tank on Main Street. The May Day in Moreton Bay Placement Team graciously extended their invitation for us to share breakfast, and what a feast it was!The aroma of breakfast delights mingled with the anticipation of geocaching adventures. As we enjoyed our morning meal, chatter filled the air, blending the excitement of catching up with old friends and the thrill of meeting new ones. The BBQ at ANZAC Park behind the Tank provided a perfect spot for those who brought their own breakfast goodies, and for those who forgot, fear not, sausages and bread were plentiful. With bellies full and spirits high, we set off on our geocaching journey, knowing that the day held promises of hidden treasures and memorable encounters. The Main Street offered ample parking for our vehicles, and the gazebo provided welcome shade for those seeking respite from the morning sun.As we ventured into the day, we were reminded of the beauty of community, friendship, and the thrill of exploration. Thank you to the May Day in Moreton Bay Placement Team for organizing such a wonderful event, and to all who attended, for making it truly special.Until our next adventure.

Early morning start to attend this Event and a delicious breakfast bacon and egg on my bread, you could smell the cooking before we got there to enjoy it. The lucky draws for the FTFs then happend and we set off to find all. I was travelling and caching with RoddyC and Hatzofff. TFTE
Today I was lucky to get out to Woodford and join in with the small number of cachers who also attended the New Woodford Event. For me the event day started with a nice drive out with Tuppens. We got there a little early and decided to grab a couple of local caches before everyone else arrived. As the people started to arrive we sat around and had some nice chats before we were treated to some nice bacon, sausages and eggs, along with a glass of juice to wash it all down with, awesome. The drizzling rain was a little annoying but it was not going to stop us today. Then the phones started to ding and vibrate, the new caches were published. I teamed up with tuppens and davidwazza and we sat and worked through our list, a couple of FTF's each and a bunch of solved puzzles and then we were off. All in all we had a good bunch of laughs and some fun caches. While there were times spent at some caches trying to find it because of a cloudy and the glare background, it did not stop us today. Thanks for the event and the caches we signed the logs and replaced caches as we found them. This one was a nice easy climb for us today even in the wet. This was a nice joint *FTF* and a very nice breakfast, thank you.
Had a nice breaky and chatted with some friends while waiting for the rain to clear. TFTE.
Thanks for the great breakfast event MammaBear 66 .I had a great time with new and alt friends.
We camped overnight on the Showgrounds and had an enjoyable time with the company of Spikeymickey. We arrived at the beautifully prepared brekkie table with all the nice smell, had the one or other chat with fellow cachets and with the ladies from the Visitor Info. Then we took off to face the adventures of the day ....equipped with enthusiasm and TOTTs and a list to work on.Thanks for organising this event, MummaBear66
