Parked next to the sign and used the bullbar to check but couldn't find the cache Will look next time in the area
After a late night drive to Kilcoy to attempt a view of the Aurora, which failed to eventuate sadly, we decided to take Neurum Rd back to Woodford to try our luck there away from the town light, nope nothing there either. So we thought it would be wise to grab the two boundary caches while in the area, we knew exactly where they were located because we placed them.I had no issue doing the climbing duties and had the cache in hand within seconds. Thanks for bringing us here.#4451 - TFTC

Selva Girls and I headed out to Woodford area today to do some caching . After fuelling up at the bakery we headed out and found an assortment of different types of caches and this was one of them. All caches were found easily enough and once the log was signed all were returned as found. TFTC
captainmonkey96 I found your cache Welcome to Moreton Bay - Farewell Somerset on 29/7/2024, 4:00PM. This is my find 6852 and find # 8 today. A quick and easy park and grab. Tailgate of a ute came in handy. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
TFTC captainmonkey96. Out caching with a determined TreasureTrakas thankfully - as we had no ladder. Cue the back of the vehicle and precision backing up to GZ by TreasureTrakas. Cache found, log signed and replaced
Davinells has a listThat list includes 27 games of sportsball, a CITO and one or two caches over the weekend Teaming up with Beardman75 we targeted the new caches in and around WoodfordSigning the logs BPD, which co-incidentally also stands for Bi Polar Disorder, we made good time and managed to find everything on the listAfter finding the nearby cache, we were more prepared this timeAfter some discussion, and the allocating of BPD common traits, I was left with narcissism, which considering my importance in the group as travel princess, might be considered aptThanks captainmonkey96
Spending the day caching around Woodford with Davinells and Peppa. Thanks for the cache captainmonkey96
Its magic round in Brisbane but the games dont start until the afternoon so we have to fill in time until then. We headed up to Woodford with Peppa and Beardman75 to tackle the new caches on offer. We tried to use the car but Miranda was just not tall enough. It was here we realised our initials could mean so much moreThanks captainmonkey96Find #6011
Muggle65, Brislions and l piled into the car to see how we would go with the new Woodford caches. Turned out to be a great day with no DNFs. Thank you for the fun ?? Heaps of wasps at GZ today so a little care required.
I headed to Woodford with GreenGecko1 and Muggle65. With all the caches out there was one cache I needed for one D/T spot. We had lots of fun today with no DNFs. some were very hard to find.captainmonkey96 thank you for placing and maintaining this cache for enjoyment of the caching community.
Headed towards Woodford today to attempt collecting a couple of recently released caches. ToTT required here, nice quick retrieval.
Stopped at GZ. Soon had the cache in hand. Signed the log and returned to where I found it. Thanks captainmonkey96. All good with this cache.
Our vehicle convoy of five, consisting of [chamad](https://coord.info/PRPP06G), [TBU1Bikesu](https://coord.info/PRDWW2K), [TBU2Uwe001](https://coord.info/PREMTHN), [tuppens](https://coord.info/PRGYCFZ), and myself, arrived at this next *May Day* series geocache. It helped that we arrived with previous finders, as they pinpointed the spot that we needed to deploy our TOTT on. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks May Day in the Moreton Bay Placement Team aka [captainmonkey96](https://coord.info/PR1AY17D) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. Farewell Somerset indeed!----------Today's activities consisted of the planned Woodford May Day activities. After running Parkrun Glass House Mountains Conservation parkrun, I arrived in time for the [May Day in Moreton Bay - Breakfast](https://coord.info/GCAP7F3) event, and then joined [chamad](https://coord.info/PRPP06G) and [tuppens](https://coord.info/PRGYCFZ) exploring the area. Once we had finished with the newly placed/published geocaches, I utilised my remaining time in Woodford to head north and visited Stanmore, the fringes of Bellthorpe National Park, and then travelled part-way east towards Peachester, before turning around in time for the Woodford [May Day Event Dinner](https://coord.info/GCAP2PE) event.
Today I was lucky to get out to Woodford and join in with the small number of cachers who also attended the New Woodford Event. For me the event day started with a nice drive out with Tuppens. We got there a little early and decided to grab a couple of local caches before everyone else arrived. As the people started to arrive we sat around and had some nice chats before we were treated to some nice bacon, sausages and eggs, along with a glass of juice to wash it all down with, awesome. The drizzling rain was a little annoying but it was not going to stop us today. Then the phones started to ding and vibrate, the new caches were published. I teamed up with tuppens and davidwazza and we sat and worked through our list, a couple of FTF's each and a bunch of solved puzzles and then we were off. All in all we had a good bunch of laughs and some fun caches. While there were times spent at some caches trying to find it because of a cloudy and the glare background, it did not stop us today. Thanks for the event and the caches we signed the logs and replaced caches as we found them. This one was a nice easy climb for us today even in the wet. While in the area we went to grab these two, thanks.
On the May Day weekend, I headed out with TBU and we found these caches.I was very glad of the ladder made available by TBU.This was a quick find.TNLNSL TFTC
Another day out caching with Janet (Janetwil) despite the rain, we did check this one out on Friday when passing and realisedwe needed a TOTT. So returned today with the necessary TOTT to find the smallest version of this type of container I've ever seen.Signed log and returned as found. TFTC captainmoney96
We noticed these two new caches had been published on our way home from the rail trail but did not have the TOTT required in the car. Today Dick (dickbev) did the retrieval and replacement. Log signed and replaced as found. Thanks for the cache captainmonkey96.
*FTF* 19.4.24 at 10.35 am with TBU2Uwe001It was a crazy day. We were ready to hop on our horses resp. motorbikes for a first tour to Somerset Dam after our long Caravantrip to the 2 MEGAs, when we heard a bing from the phone. As we had already this week an emergency request to pick-up our grandkids from school, we checked the phone. Oh, new caches .... Just along the planned backroad. What now? We decided we go on our ride and stop for a "look". When we arrived at the first GZ, 2 cars were just parking where we parked. Oh, those passengers took their 3 kids to go on a walk in that area. Okay. No fellow cachers. On the other side of the road was another car: 2 tradies putting in optical fibre. And they had a TOTT. And Uwe spotted another TOTT on the car's roof! So I walked over to the guys, and they asked what we are up to. We explained our situation, and he knew at once why I came over. He carried it over, watching us. My byro - being in the top box for so long - was not minded to write so he borrowed me also his byro.Yes, a clean logsheet awaited us @ 10.35 am! Tftc May Day in the Moreton Bay Placement Team
