We were heading over to another of the Natures Ladder caches when we thought we might stop here on the way for this one. We didn't bring the pole today as today is about climbing trees but I was pretty confident that we had enough items on board to maybe make it work. Turned out they came together nicely and worked a treat! That was fun and a great spot for a cache like this. TFTC, Deni_f, and have a FP for the execution and the unexpected fun. We'll be back for more some time for sure.#1980

Lots of laughs with this one almost had it, then the pole collapsed, then we got up nearer it again then the pole collapsed, then we collapsed (laughing), then the pole collapsed. Anyway, we finally got it and even managed to put it back.

Great team effort - 2pods have become Fisher Kings & Im still in training. Wondering what the neighbours with the camera on their verandah will make of all the people going into the bush with fishing rods! Thanks for this cache.

TFTC and the fishing experience. I now have a bruise on my pinkie from where the pole collapsed on my hand. It was a great place to put the cache out of the eyes of the neighbours. A nice bush with a fungi find and saw lots of kangaroos. A favourite from me for the experience. Ill send you my bill for the repairs on my pinkie.

#7801We were headed out into Pokolbin State Forest for a camping event, so made a day of it by heading out through the Branxton/Rothbury area, chasing some new (some brand new) caches and continuing to chip away at some challenges. Cool and sunny, so perfect for caching, and camping as well.We traversed the creek and spotted the prize quickly, an easy fish too It looks as if some serious water flows through here. Some might need a kayak! Thanks for the cache...

A quick find but fading light and a late shower made this a bit tricky to replace. The mud didnt help either after a week of rain! What a challenge! The little bloke loved the kangaroos though. FP from me. TNLN TFTC

Lovely bunch of kangaroos at this cache! Took us a while to locate it and once we did we got it down easily. Though it took us ages to get it back up there without some help from dad. FP from me for a fun cache! TNLN TFTC

[FTF]I made the early morning visit chasing a couple of FTFs, but Google maps had me going all over the place in Huntlee, eventually arriving to a parking spot. Once I approached GZ, I realised I was on the wrong side of a small creek. I eventually found my way to the correct side of the creek and then to GZ.Considering my poor tree fishing experiences, this was a relatively easy retrieval. TFTC
