So today was a day of celebrations, 100,000 in fact and there was cake. Then caching. Adelaide caching. Found in the company of CPWanderer. TFTC NortonSummitCutiesX4. We had then coke, then cake at the bakery close by.
After attending a nearby event I joined Doctor Owl to find a few caches close by before heading home.We had been here previously for a DNF, but today the cache was quickly found. Not sure how we missed it last time. Thanks for the cache NortonSummitCutiesX4.
After the event we wondered through the busy streets of Norwood. We not only got a smiley but saw 2 other smiley faces doing the same thing Thanks for our adventure
After the nearby event JJ52 and Owl joined forces to redeem a prior DNF. The cache definitely wasn't that easy last time, but with an original log it might have been buried somewhere. Either way, it's off the map now! Running into unssy was an added bonus.
TFTC did this with my mate silky, quick find after we got lunch. Loved the clue and the name.
This cache is a short walk from one of our recurring breakfast hangouts, so Im not sure why I havent been here sooner. All quiet in the park this chilly morning and once I understood the clue it was a quick find. I hope it wasnt a geocacher that trampled the shrubbery; well get a bad name. Thanks for the hide NortonSummitCutiesX4.
First find in some time, it seems the thrill of geocaching never dies down. Not too many muggles around here on this cloud-covered day, and the hint made this find a cinch! TFTC #122
Today after an appointment in Kent Town I headed around to find the 3 unfound caches I have in this area. Last time I came here the park was full of people, back today and with no one around a quick find was had. Cache is all good hereThanks for the hide
Found at 14:12 by Ian, and with Olga and Luna. A beautiful day out, which also meant the park was pretty busy. The good hint made it easy to find, without drawing attention to ourselves.
We enjoyed visiting this park because of the history. Man others enjoyed visiting the same park because of the play equipment - there were many muggles. The hint made sense when we visited the area - a very good hint led to a quick find, The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks NortonSummitCutiesX4 for a very good caching experience - it earns a favourite from us.
Second time here, and the cache was found easily. I swear it was not there when I was hear last. Never mind, a quick find and sign, and I was on my way. Thanks for the challenge, what a lovely park here in memory of Mr Coke. Find #9865 at 5pm
Work has been hectic for the last few weeks. Unkind shift work and crowdstrike along with visiting our regional sites to sort them out.Cheezel1961 felt sorry for me and invited me out for a day caching. Targeting a few choice caches and high T ones.Great hide. Signed Logbook.TFTC SL
I may as well have cracked a coke or two. The guy on the seat was settled in. What frozen feet said..I drove off and looked right. Hed gone!!!! What! Typical. I quickly parked. Snuck in. Caches the cache. Phew . Thanks NortonSummitCutiesX4 and clear skies from TeamAstro. Muggles everywhere, but still went for it, muggles oblivious and too concerned with their own business
Found after attending the 'For the Earlybirds! #59 Revisited' event, before finding a few caches in the eastern suburbs, then taking a very chilly walk in the foothills. No muggles here at this time of the morning. Replaced the cache consistent with the clue. Thanks for the cache NortonSummitCutiesX4!
After some found logs decided to come back for another look and this time the cache was found. Not where the previous finders had found it, which is where the hint indicates, but it was quite close to where I had GZ.Thanks to NortonSummitCutiesX4 for adding to the playing field with this cache.Cache #14984 for me.*This log composed and published using GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife).*
Thought I'd have an issue due to muggles nearby having lunch. Thankfully for me it started to rain and they hurried off. Cache quickly located and log signed before I got too wet.. TFTC
This morning, I had a training nearby for the whole morning. After that, I made a small detour on my way back to the office, so I can try this new cache.Luckily I found a carpark space close to GZ.At GZ, cache has been found easily. It's just as mentioned in the cache description. The cache container and the log sheet are in good condition. I signed the log sheet, and placed the cache back. No one else was around. Thanks for the cache, NortonSummitCutiesX4.
Today it was time for a Terrific Tuesday Mystery Trek, picked up the Rat and met the Starfish at the Imperial, not the pub, the cache. Most impressed when the Starfish produced a list, which, at my suggestion, we deviated from immediately. Then we went back to it and had a great day's caching. By coincidence I ended up with the same number of finds as last week, half were puzzles, with one special one amongst them, with some multis, one of which was very nice, and four trads which really pleased the traditionalist in me. And as an extra bonus for me, a bit of serendipity revealed an amusing sign to add to my Funny Sign series. This was one that I wanted to look for first as it was near our meeting place and the other two had both found it so should be possible to see if the last 2 DNFs are correct or if it's still in place. We approached GZ and the hint was explained, it had helped the previous finders. Wandered over to where cache had been found previously but there was no cache in place, or in the near vicinity.Previous finders are sure it's gone missing. The low hedge showed signs of recently being trimmed which tends to indicate it has been removed by the gardener which will probably be the fate of any same spot replacement. A better spot will probably be required.*This log composed and published using GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife).*
I visited in the dark, probably not the wisest thing to do. I found the axe, I went all along its trajectory. Once I found myself trying to avoid plants to stand on, I was pretty much done. I looked with the torch, but as there is plenty of dried fallen leaves, I gave up. Thanks for the challenge, hopefully more plants here are not damaged too much.
Substantial damage has been done to the vegetation at GZ, possibly by cachers fruitlessly searching for the cache. Owl and JJ were not prepared to add to the damage so after a short careful search that turned up nothing they called it and left. If the cache is still there a rethink of the location might be in order.
After a hot chocolate and feed at a nearby event, Jolly0 and I made the chilly wander over to this cache.Found quickly with good co-ords.TFTC
After an early morning event LB and I went for a very cold stroll up the street to make this find. LB made the find while I was busy looking at the black cockatoos, oops, nope, theyre pigeons I swear it wasnt this cold when I arrived at the event earlier! My feet ended up so cold good job they are only little feet TFTC NortonSummitCutiesX4Keep smiling
It was drizzling rain when I was at GZ. I didn't think it rained in Adelaide anymore.Cache quickly found.TFTC
Veni. Vidi. Vici. Scripsi. In the area to collect grandkids from school, and once a carpark was obtained, there was a bit of time to spare before school finished. So, went for a wander in this direction. Arrived in the park and it was time to stop for a coke. Got to GZ, but could not work out the hint, and was a little wary of a group of older kids lying on the lawn, but it was obvious that they were more interested in themselves than me. Made a move and immediately spotted the cache, grabbed it, and took it for a walk to sign the log. Lucky I did. The log was almost impossible to remove, but luckily, I have a couple of bits of thin plastic in the wallet that were used to facilitate removal of the log. Log duly signed and then refolded to try to make it easier for the next finder to remove. Reassembled and wandered back to GZ to replace the cache. Again, the kids were not paying any attention to me, so another quick move and the cache was replaced. Now to head to the school and meet the grandkids. Gratias pro cache NortonSummitCutiesX4

When pie_mom suggested we find this cache before a specialist appointment nearby I jumped at the idea. After reading the caches information I was a little disappointed that the cache wasnt about Coca Cola. As anyone who knows me would be very quick to say I have a rather large collection of Coca Cola and find any reason to increase my collection..While this cache unfortunately did not add to my collection it was certainly found, signed and returned Tftc
Thanks for the cache. A quick find while in the area for an appointment. Interesting information about an early local settler.
Had a few muggles in this nice park but eventually found the cache. Have a fav point to start you off! Thanks for the cache NortonSummitCutiesx4.Striker and Runningman222.
Straight forward find after doing some cache maintenance nearby. Thanks, NortonSummitCutiesX4, for the hide in an interesting location.
Something special or unusual goes here:We stopped for a coke and OzGruff quickly located the cache with the help of a pickaxe. I think that is the first time I've put that in log! The Generic Bit:Only two or the usual trio of puzzle solvers were available for Tuesday Trekking today. Myself and Mrs. S.A. Sewer Rats. Poor Troggy was not well. Luckily for us OzGruff stepped up and agreed to accompany us in search of puzzles and anything else we came across. [ Today we started out near Yatala, cruised down to West Beach for an event and then back again. [^] The usual laughs and a picnic lunch. ***Thanks NortonSummitCutiesX4 for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. *** Logs prepared and published through GSAK.
Out with two others. No problems. Bumped into the cache owners later that day. Awesome family just getting into the activity. Loved the hint!!!
Two Confused geocachers+OzGuff set out for Mystery Tuesday. The Plan for today was the Starfish picked up the Rat from her nest. Then we set out to pick up OzGuff.WE followed the boxes.Another lovely park. The scurrying Rat spotted the clue.OzGuff quickly located the cache. We stamped and signed the logbook and replaced as found. It was lovely to meet up with the COs later in day. Tftc
This one was on my way to a Breaky Event, so stopped by...A cool walkway I'd never seen! Great history, thanks for bringing me here.Spotted the cache after using the inventive hint. Nice work!Dropped my *FTF* geocoin through @ 0700hrs too.TNLNSL Thanks
Went for a bike ride this morning and tried to grab this one on the way. Arrived to see another cyclist parked on the bench nearest the cache, looking directly at GZ. Okay, lets go do some shopping instead.Grabbed a salad and a drink, and came back to find the bench free.... but a mother and several kids playing sprints along the path. Plopped myself down and ate my salad, while the kids zoomed past and another person sat on the other bench having a coffee.Kids packed up and left, but the coffee lady is still there.Ate some more of my salad.Coffee lady is still there.Finished my drink.Coffee lady is still there.Browsed on my phone and soaked up the sunshine.Coffee lady is still there.45 minutes pass.Coffee lady is still there. At this point I was probably getting sunburned, and I had work to do at home, so I reluctantly left.Coffee lady is probably still there.
