A sneaky puzzle to get us sorted with this Wherigo, but once we had some good numbers we were able to work our way through to GZ.At ground level, we could not spot this one so Mrs. Domsky decided to go up and have a look around. In the end it was just above her head and so with another small climb up the log was signed. Thanks captainmonkey96Domsky
One of the boys had a rugby presentation at the show grounds so after attending that we decided to grab a few caches. Were chasing caches with a certain attribute that goes towards the October challenge Difficult Climb and all of those caches are within the Woodford area, beats having to climb a mountain after all.We decided to walk down to this one and yeah, we knew where the cache was because I helped place it many moons ago. Dropped another log to keep it going for a bit longer. This was always a tough climb and I made it even tougher by accident. I always thought I placed it high up, turns out it wasnt as high as I thought, so when I was up there I climbed an extra branch only to spot it below on the previous branch, oops! Thanks for bringing us here.Something big is coming to the Sunny Coast on the 5th October 2025.Head to GCARTY0 to see all about the Sunshine Coast Beach Party event.Be sure to submit your will attend and lets get this to 300 will attends for Queenslands very first Block Party, lets make it happen and party on!#4454 - TFTC
After a very enjoyable, but exhausting , nine days of GCLogan events, I had 2 full days left before flying back to NZ. To maximise the value of these 2 days, a plan was hatched with GG1 and M65 to target some special caches on the Northside that would help me with possibly two further D/T loop completions. Their help was invaluable, with local knowledge ensuring the best route was taken to fit in as many high quality caches as possible today. A little glitch with my phone and daylight saving meant we actually started the day extra early, which may have been a good thing, as we didn't stop till 8:30 pm.With my hosts well prepared for any tott we might need today, it was not too much trouble, even for an old guy, to access this one and sign the log. We arrived at GZ and quickly found the right tree but finding the cache was another thing. After a PAF we still could not see it so decided to ascend and have a look and then spotted a telltale something and had our hands on the container which promptly fell to the ground. We signed the log and ascended again to put the container back up. The wire attachment is in need of some maintenance though. Thanks captainmonkey96 for another good puzzle and the cache.
Today I was lucky to get out to Woodford and join in with the small number of cachers who also attended the New Woodford Event. For me the event day started with a nice drive out with Tuppens. We got there a little early and decided to grab a couple of local caches before everyone else arrived. As the people started to arrive we sat around and had some nice chats before we were treated to some nice bacon, sausages and eggs, along with a glass of juice to wash it all down with, awesome. The drizzling rain was a little annoying but it was not going to stop us today. Then the phones started to ding and vibrate, the new caches were published. I teamed up with tuppens and davidwazza and we sat and worked through our list, a couple of FTF's each and a bunch of solved puzzles and then we were off. All in all we had a good bunch of laughs and some fun caches. While there were times spent at some caches trying to find it because of a cloudy and the glare background, it did not stop us today. Thanks for the event and the caches we signed the logs and replaced caches as we found them. This one was a nice easy climb for us today even in the wet.
Davinells has a listThat list includes 27 games of sportsball, a CITO and one or two caches over the weekend Teaming up with Beardman75 we targeted the new caches in and around WoodfordSigning the logs BPD, which co-incidentally also stands for Bi Polar Disorder, we made good time and managed to find everything on the listNot our first stop of the day, after finding something yet to appear on our maps, we sent Davinells up the tree, before deciding the ladder was a better optionAfter some discussion, and the allocating of BPD common traits, I was left with narcissism, which considering my importance in the group as travel princess, might be considered aptThanks captainmonkey96
Its magic round in Brisbane but the games dont start until the afternoon so we have to fill in time until then. We headed up to Woodford with Peppa and Beardman75 to tackle the new caches on offer.I went up into the tree and spotted it but used the TOTT to retrieve. Thanks captainmonkey96Find #6001
Spending the day caching around Woodford with Davinells and Peppa. Thanks for the cache captainmonkey96
Met up with Dickbev to cache around Woodford today. TOTT out. Up goes geofriend but I spotted from the ground. Tossed to me. Signed the log and returned to where found. Thanks captainmonkey96. All good with this cache and wherigo.

Teamed up with Chamad and Davidwazza for a busy day chasing new caches post breakfast event in Woodford. Thanks to the Placement Team we had a long list of brand new caches plus solved coordinates to speed things up. I never would have located all these without Davids tree climbing and Chamads 4WD skills my contribution being largely the addition of an extra pair of eyes and the provision of fortifying donuts! A really fun day out.Another tree climb!
Muggle65, Brislions and l piled into the car to see how we would go with the new Woodford caches. Turned out to be a great day with no DNFs. Thank you for the fun ??
I headed to Woodford with GreenGecko1 and Muggle65. With all the caches out there was one cache I needed for one D/T spot. We had lots of fun today with no DNFs. some were very hard to find.captainmonkey96 thank you for placing and maintaining this cache for enjoyment of the caching community.

Headed towards Woodford today to attempt collecting a couple of recently released caches. By all reports we weren't expected to do well. But we managed to find this one. A tricky hide and fabulous hide.
This was one of our first stops as the May Day geocaches were published. It didn't take long to spot the cache, and then it was a fun tree climb. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks May Day in the Moreton Bay Placement Team aka [captainmonkey96](https://coord.info/PR1AY17D) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.----------Today's activities consisted of the planned Woodford May Day activities. After running Parkrun Glass House Mountains Conservation parkrun, I arrived in time for the [May Day in Moreton Bay - Breakfast](https://coord.info/GCAP7F3) event, and then joined [chamad](https://coord.info/PRPP06G) and [tuppens](https://coord.info/PRGYCFZ) exploring the area. Once we had finished with the newly placed/published geocaches, I utilised my remaining time in Woodford to head north and visited Stanmore, the fringes of Bellthorpe National Park, and then travelled part-way east towards Peachester, before turning around in time for the Woodford [May Day Event Dinner](https://coord.info/GCAP2PE) event.
Out caching for some new caches after a May Day in Moreton Breakfast Event. It was time for me to do a tree climb, and yes, our ladder was out to its fullest extent.Log signed and cache replaced as found at 4:06 PM on May 4, 2024. TFTC, May Day in the Moreton Bay Placement Team.
Just about finished for the day but we had to do this climb before heading home.Caching with RoddyC and imbunda.TFTCache May Day in the Moreton Bay Placement Team
Early morning start to the day to pick up RoddyC and Hatzofff then headed North for the Event. After that it was time to see who get what FTF before heading off in search. This was our last cache for the day before heading home. RoddyC was keen to do the climb so that the log could be signed by all before replacing as found. TFTC
**FTF** on 4 May 2024 with Dora the Explorer! and Selva Girls. After attending a nearby event, we were set loose on the new caches nearby. This was one of those caches. After verifying the coordinates we arrived at GZ and spotted the cache after a while. After looking at the pros and cons of attempting the climb , it was decided a TOTT may be the better option. After deploying the tool, Dora the Explorer did the honours. This would have been a very challenging tree climb.TFTC
**FTF** Quick find here today. Took a little while to find at the event. Ended up using the ladder at its full extension. CDAH55 and Selva Girls also present.
The name is correct: dangling in the trees like monkeys this morning. We found the cache and signed the log.Tftc May Day in Moreton Bay Placement Team
