Passing by today and hoped to add to our calendar. Clever hide, signed and hidden back for the next finder. Look forward to seeing this area grow in a few years with more shade around. Thanks Rabbitto for showing us a new area to explore.
Out for a quick ride this morning to grab a couple of ALs and of course any quick finds along the way. Can't go far wrong with a quick find when there is a great hint.
In the area for a different geolocation game event. I actually had no idea this whole area existed! Much less a historic homestead. A quick find on a sunny Saturday walking around. Thanks for the cache.
Quick find on the way past here, cache is all goodTravelling around Victoria with Freddo for a week finding caches as we go. With two challenges on our radar we were in full force. All logs signed with our names or F+g98 for the smaller caches. Thanks for the cache
Cache was found after a short search. Thanks for the fun. Cleaning up Victoria with gridge98. We are on a mission this week. Completing twenty finds in Mexican local government areas is the challenge. Another find with the correct criteria. It is in Victoria and we have not accumulated twenty finds in this local government area.Today was the day to find this cache. Today is Saturn's day the nineteenth day of the octavus month of the Roman calendar in the wonderful year of twenty twenty four. We found your cache container and added some inky stuff to the paper sheet or note pad you have supplied for a log book or scroll. The cache container and log book or scroll were in good condition. It was a bit windy today. It was so windy today. With the log signed and the cache replaced it was time to leave. Onwards to the next cache. Woot, that is not to far.I would like to show my respect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their continuing connection to it. I wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. Lovely wander around the old Homestead whilst waiting for my passengers to enjoy their celebratory lunch. TFTC
It's free public transport for seniors week, and I am making the most of it. Today I traveled to Rowville, as a couple of new caches had popped up in the area. This is such a pretty park. The cache was found after a short search.
As I was in the area for a moth BioBlitz this evening, I decided to detour past this one on the way home (as I needed another cache for the equinox souvenir). Unlike the last time I visited here, parking was a breeze and the cache was quickly found, logged and rehidden. TFTC
I didnt have much spare time on my hand so I appreciated this quick grab. TFTC.
Here for a family birthday and very pleased to see a cache nearby. A bit too cold and windy today to worry about muggles so cache quickly in hand and logged. TFTC
A nice and simple find today after driving back from my client for the day. With the area being almost completely barren I was able to swiftly find and sign the cache with no real drama. Until I was called back to my client to pick up some things my co-workers had left there..... good work guys. Either way thanks for the cache and the little adventure.
Found 24 Aug 2024 at 2:35:37PMAfter helping out with a geocaching session in the library, I went for a walk around the area and picked up some caches along the way. Many thanks to Rabbitto for placing Stamford Park Homestead for us all to find. I was over in the Ferntree Gully area to make a few stops for bits and pieces for the Cachemas event on Saturday. After collecting the final items nearby, I teamed up with Kristysadventures to grab a few local caches before heading home. With the caches wrapped up we decided to grab a bite to eat. I knew nothing about this homestead before arriving but it was such a wonderful building and some cool art installations surrounded it.Some great food came out (and plenty of food envy for other meals) before realising these is a cache just outside the grounds, so it was one final find before heading home.A nice quick find here and a muggle free opportunity.A big thanks goes to Rabbitto for taking the time to add Stamford Park Homestead to the geocaching map for us all to find and enjoy.----------------------------------------------------------Are you ready for Victorias next big event?Join us for Victorias first ever *Block Party* to celebrate 25 years of geocaching.**When:** March 22 - 23, 2025**Where:** Hume Global Learning Centre, SunburyLog your will attend at [**GCAP417: The Sunbury Event** ](https://coord.info/GCAP417) Visit our [**Block Party website** ](https://geocachingvictoria.com.au/the-sunbury-event) for more details on the exciting lineup of events and activities as they are released!
I have visited this gorgeous homestead many times in the last month, as it is featured in my work's Immerse pop up art program with kids animal drawings projected on the community garden wall, 3D art on the porch and is the meeting point for our public art tours.. hence I have even been within 5 metres of this cache but usually with a gazillion umbrellas or a PA system and microphone in hand, so I didn't think it was appropriate to grab this cache with an audience watching me!Tonight I returned to have dinner with RoamingHowie and we made a much more discrete and quick find. Thanks Rabbitto for sharing this location with the community - I am so pleased the homestead has been re-opened for the public to enjoy.
We were visiting my home area and had a lovely lunch at the homestead. This was a quick and easy find. TFTC
Checked on old log, which had dried out of its own accord. Added a new one as well. Also re-glued the magnet to the container
Although we only live a few kilometres north of GZ and have used Stud Rd many times we had never been to this area and were surprised with what we found. A group of muggles were talking near the gates to the homestead but we were able to locate the cache very quickly. By the time we had retrieved the cache and signed the log they had moved away, Returning the container was much easier without the muggles. Thanks to Rabbitto for the cache.
By the time the ladies arrived here, it was getting rather dark. Apparently we are going back to have a better look during daylight hours. Thanks for placing the cache for all to enjoy.
Some after-work caching with Geoturtle37. Even after living only 5 mins away for more than 20 years, I never knew this area existed - until today. Looks like a lovely park over the road. We've run out of daylight today, but will return another day to explore. Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, Rabbitto ~~
Up in the Dandenongs for a couple of events, then a few more on the way home. A nice easy find here, with some feedback to the CO re the attachment not being quite right. Many thanks to Rabbitto for the cache.
Quick grab. Slightly bigger then I pictured. If you come from the correct side youll have it in your hands in no time.
Finding some caches while my muggle friend us at a quilt show.It wasn't in the first place I looked, but was in the last place. Thanks For The Cache
*Found on the 19 May 2024 @ 11:17AM.**Cache find # 15629.* After making a stop at Kmart, I had a look to see if there were any caches around the area that I had not found yet and I noticed 2 relatively new caches on the map to check out, so off I went to this one.I arrived at GZ and with a quick look around, I soon had the cache in hand, the log was retrieved and I noticed something that I had not seen for some time but, it was the FTF stamp, there was a time when you would see this stamp on the logs in all the newly published caches, interesting.**Thanks to Rabbitto for keeping the game going by placing this cache.**
Today I spent a few hours on my own, finding a few things that were not too far from home including a nice walk through the bush in the dew soaked grass to warm me up for the day.Geez, the car park was busy here today but I managed to get the last spot. No idea where every body went but there was no one around which made the search and signing nice and easy. Thanks Rabbitto for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.
It seems that I'm on a bit of a Rabbitto Ride today. What a magnificent old property. Yet another place that we drive past on thousands of occasions and have never really noticed before.Thank you for highlighting this slice of Victorian history by placing a geocache here.

I have bean saving this cache to find between May 2 and May 5 so I can earn a Blue Switch Day souvenir, its the day in 2000 that the GPS was turned on for all the public. Thanks Rabbitto FTC
What a great day. Had to do a cache this weekend. The area has changed a lot. More house. Parked and proceeded to GZ. looked hard and then placed my hand on it. Thanks for placing this cache. Thanks Rabbitt
A quick find after tennis in wonga park and a kids party drop off - explored the estate and homestead afterwards. I had no idea this was here! tftc
Needed a cache to fill a gap in my calendar and also to get Blue Seitch souvenir so very happy to find this new cache not to far from home. Lovely estate, never been there before. A quick park and grab. TFTC Rabbitto.
With a day off school, time to kill, and a brand new drivers license, I headed to the local Rowville area to pick up two new caches that we hadn't found yet. After getting the nearby Rowville Community cache, I headed over to this one in an area I'm quite familiar with as my grandparents used to live close by. A quick scour of a few hiding spots bought up nothing, so a quick peek at the hint narrowed down the possibilities. A short search later and the cache was in hand. Tftc Rabbitto
Out in the area for work but had to get a smile on the map for Blue Switch day, after parking and a short walk I soon had the log found and signed.Cheers for the cache.
This was a super quick find yesterday .. that is, I saw it but didnt put my hand on it as a couple of muggles were sitting only a few metres away nearby enjoying the lovely day with their baby, well within sight of GZ. Fortunately there was another seat nearby and I must admit I enjoyed spending time on my phone researching about nearby Stamford House..not realising it made no difference to the nearby muggles who showed no sign of moving so I opted to return hoping I would have GZ to myself. It would be a quick find and sign as I had already located the cache. And here we are .. indeed a quick find and sign .. thanks Rabbito for placing the cache here
Out with my daughter catching up. Lovely old building here and good decision by the council to sell the land off to get the homestead renovated. Thanks for the cache Rabbitto
Damnski! Saw this one late last night but after too many ciders watching the Melbourne Storm game I thought I better not go out. Set the alarm for early time this morning, even though I dont have to start work until later. This one still hadnt gone off. I did the drive to get here, found what I was looking for, opened it up with excitement but its already got signatures in the logbook! Damn, drat & blast it!!
I was on my way from Warragul to Glen Waverley for an appointment so I made a detour to find a couple of caches. This is one of the caches found today. I must admit I was rather impressed with the chicken house and coop, it look better than some of the dog boxes being built close by. I had no trouble finding the cache. The FTF log raised an eye brow though. Thanks Rabbitto for the cache.
