Spending some time caching around the NSW/ACT southern tablelands with lots of side trips. TFTC.Caching out at Mulligan's Flat with a group of cachers signing as MM24.Was a 13km hike collecting puzzles, letterboxes, trads and a couple of multis. Easy going after the tough on yesterday. Saw lots of wildlife including 4 echidnas. Finished just before the rain set on. A fun day.Nice quick find as the rain begins.
After yesterdays walk, which was a good day out but hotter and hillier by the end, then was comfortable. Todays planned flatter and overcast day around Mulligans tempted me from a lazy morning of comfort I have been wanting.. All good, I'll catch that sleep up later, and the walk would be nice.So with my sunnies and walking pole which have become a fixture to get me moving outside these days, I was off and met up with the group. Albida, kittykatch, sacada, joolay, isopeda, contesta and myself signing as MM24 (Mulligans Mayham 2024)I was glad I made the effort to go. A nice morning out and 13km went easy enough with the pole. Still warm even with the clouds but comfortable. Far too many flies but bare able, and 4 echidna along the way which was great to see. A few hills at the end and a short shower, but made it back to the cars dry and home before the storm arrived. Thanks for your cache, its a nice area to walk!
Mulligans WanderI took another walk today with some mates to find some caches in a nature park in Canberra's north. Walking with albida33, Joolay, contesta, isopeda, Aquilus1 and sacada. We signed as Mulligans Meyham. Thanks for hiding and maintaining this cache GSC2000
Find # 13143Making the most of the opportunity to duck out for a few hours of caching fun. Seeking out the occasional challenge or two, or trying to mop up as many solves as I can to keep that long list under control. Seems to increase faster than it decreases Out for some letterboxes today with a small group. Signing as MM24. albida, isopeda, KittyKatch, Joolay, sacada, and Joolay. All but one found and in good condition. Many thanks to GSC2000 for placing Mulligan's Mailbox IV for us all to enjoy. Your contribution to the game through the placement and maintenance of this cache over the years is appreciated.
And it rainedToday walking the CCT trails but chasing the new mailboxes with Aquilus1, albida33, contesta, kittykatch, isopeda and sacada. Signing as MM24.Thanks for getting me out and about GSC2000

I have reached a part of the year where I have lots of days that I would love to find lots of caches on. This means driving trips or walking trips to area that are not easily reached on a one cache a day basis. Today was another walk, this time In Mulligans grasslands to visit the new line of caches along the border. It was another small group walk with Sacada, Aquillus1, Contesta, Kitty Katch, Joolay, Isopeda and Albida33. We signed each log as MM24 for Mulligans Mayhem 2024. There was a brief rain shower while we were out and about but the real storm waited till we were home. Thanks for the cache GSC200049878.18 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & 2019 April Old Salty A#399**Albida**
Opportunity to grab a few more of your Mailbox series. Quickly found and all in good condition TFTC GSC2000
After driving back into town this morning via three caches, none of which was the type that I really wanted for a personal challenge, I continued on back out here. Despite the cool wind it was a pleasant walk and the cache was found in good condition. TFTC GSC2000 TNLN SL
Out on my caching RDO Monday. A bit of fog around when I arrived but that quickly dissipated. When it cleared it warmed up nicely. I don't ever remember doing this section of the boarder before so its nice to see another part. quite enjoyable riding along the fire trail. My main aim was to collect the multiple letterbox caches today. This brings me a bit closer to finding 100 of them. Thanks for bringing me out. While on my trip I added another 1 logs as it was just a postitnote
Waited on the track for a bit before going in to retrieve this one as there were a whole heap of small birds there. May need to come back and do some proper birdwatching here!Signed the strip, unsure why there is no proper logbook in this cache Saw it was a beautiful day this morning and decided to clean up some of the caches this side of Mulligans.TFTC!
Out for a walk in Mulligans flat area today. It was a perfect day to be out with little wind but quite cold. The gloves were definitely needed this morning. We made our way through this series on familiar pathways. We really do enjoy walking in this part of Canberra. There are great trails and just gently undulating terrain. We found all of the hides to be in excellent condition and with good hints and accurate coordinates, none of them took long to spot. Thanks GSC2000 for the series.Domsky
With the recent publication of a massive letterbox hybrid trail in Mulligan's Flat, I decided to go and try and polish off my remaining caches within the reserve. A quick tram ride and bike transportation later had me at Mulligan's entrance, where a lovely four hour bike ride was had to pick up everything I could. TFTC!Passed a bunch of bike riders here, a nice quick find.
Lots of roos and wallabies about this morning. No probs at GZ. A nice 3 km walk to see if my leg is behaving.TFTLBHC
12th of 60 found today.Decided I need to do a walk today and ended up going a lot further than I expected, around 13km in total. Initially I though maximum of 5. Nevertheless a great autumn day in this area was a good tonic. Lots of kangaroos and wallabies around and happy to see that they're mostly pretty relaxed. Shows that the people that visit here know how to behave around animals. Sorry that this will be a generic log for all finds today as they meld into one another after a while. The cache is in good condition.Oh, and no DNFs for me today - that's a first when doing a run.TFTC GSC2000 and the dawn
Somehow I managed to convince my muggle besties to go for a walk around Mulligans Flat today for some caches. The weather was absolutely perfect for a leisurely stroll, stopping every now and then for a snack. I even ended up convincing one to create an account!!! It was good to get around to these more recent caches! All was in order at the cache, and it was replaced as found.Thank you GSC2000 for the cache!
Found on a mental health leave day around Mulligans Flat. I was very appreciative of the caches that I found today, 23 all up on my big walk and on a blue, sunny day with barely any clouds. Only saw one other person on the walk who was on their bike, so it was very quiet and peaceful. Temperature was perfect. I appreciate that the new Mulligans Mailbox caches gave me an excuse to clean-up the caches at the back of the reserve. This cache was a quick find. TFTC! Note, the official logbook for this one appeared to be missing. There's a blue sticky note that someone has put inside, but this won't last too long. Someone should consider bringing a bigger replacement log (with a ziplock bag too)?
I was with the CO when this Mulligan's Mailbox series of Letterbox Hybrids was placed. It was a fun day. Now that the first to find has gone and several finds claimed I am logging my find.Hope everyone enjoys this series.
The breeze had a real chill to it. Fortunately that gave us the drive to push the bikes hard to pick up these letterbox caches. TFTC
A chilly breezy overcast Autumn afternoon picking up this series of caches. A familiar track that we have been on as a team many times before today. It took just 31minutes of travelling on our ebikes for and easy 8.9km return trip, and just a little longer to find them all. A few tricky hides today because our GSP GZs were jumping around. Nothing that three pairs of eyes can't resolve. We placed a log book into Mulligan's Mailbox IV . Thanks to TE's message, and thx mountainsbeyond for spotting the omission so we took a spare logbook with us before leaving.A favourite point on Mulligan's Mailbox XIII for this fun series giving us the daily exercise we look for, the lovely location AND it marked the turning point in our little adventure heading back to warm cars brrrrrrr. TFTC GSC2000.
A lovely ride around familiar tracks in Mulligan's on the eMTBs today. Most caches in this very nicely placed series were located easily, generally just a short walk from the track. We had a lot of fun finding these on an otherwise gloomy day. Thanks, GSC2000!
Chooo ooo [FTF] on a lovely slightly overcast morning! Have walked and cycled (cycled today) through this reserve dozens of times in the name of caching - and still love it - a lovely little nature reserve on the border here! I placed my first cache in Mulligans in 2013. There was no log sheet in this cache (stamp was there) - so I signed the bag! See pic. Thanks GSC2000!
