On another road trip to Bendigo to visit the Family and diverted off the freeway to locate a couple of caches. When we first started coming to Bendigo many many years ago the road went right through Malmsbury but since the Freeway has been built it now bypasses all the little country towns. Once at GZ Mrs. Pooky made a quick easy find of this creative cache. TF placing this cache and bringing us off the highway to visit the town of Malmsbury again.

We had a fantastic time at last years event crawl so there was no way known that we were going to miss this one, even though only half the team made the first leg.Mrs Crackers was kindly given a lift by Papi4506 & Geoturtle37 and we were joined by Posums. It rained for most of the day so we chose caches to look for that weren't too far from the car if we could. We found a variety of different types and hides and had a very enjoyable time in between events. This was a quick find while we had a mini event here and we soon added our name to the log. Thanks feathertop for the cache.

I planned to attend only two of today's Cache crawl events, and spend the rest of the day chasing Adlabs, with just a few extras thrown in to break the journey. I was 40 minutes early for the Malmsbury event, so I first did the two caches I planned for afterwards and this was one.It was raining at the time and just as I finished writing the log, a 4WD arrived with Crank1 and Pwala in it, so I passed it to them to save them getting wet.My thanks for the cache, feathertop.

As i drove into town i realized i was hungry and also remembered that there is a terrific bakery on the main street. Putting caching aside i dropped in for a tasty lunch and coffee, still worth the visit folks! Then it was up the hill to find this nice crumbling structure and little beauty of a cache, a delightful find again. 2 Chimneys- Malmsbury is find number 3,441 for me. A fun small sized traditional cache I enjoyed finding as one of my caching adventures in Macedon Ranges Shire. Unless otherwise mentioned above, I found the coordinates to be accurate, the cache in good condition and the log dry and with plenty of room to sign. I am logging this one on Friday 14 June 2024 at 2:07 pm and the weather is Overcast Clouds 10C 68% 3 m/s . Thanks for placing this cache for the rest of us to enjoy feathertop.*Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*

Well its the long weekend and I was wondering what to do so a trip up to Bendigo was called for. This weekend will help me continue along with my streak which I want to get to 183 as any more is just to hard to achieve.Im having to resort to detours on the way home from work but a weekend trip away will help me along and also any excuse to get out of Melbourne is a great idea. After a great day yesterday of caching and sight seeing and a good nights rest (after finding somewhere to stay as Bendigo appears to be booked out) its time for some more caching and to slowly make my way home.It has been a while since I have called into Malmsbury and I have a feeling that I will be back in a couple of months.I have already done one of the COs chimney series near Clunes and it was great to stop in at this old relic.I did poke my head in through the door way but did not going in any further. The cache was soon located and I added my name to the log. Thanks feathertop TFTC.

We found this in the dark after a days fun and caching in Bendigo following the CITO and morning tea events.Nice to see a good turnout on such a glorious autumn day. We picked up some speedy trads and then attended the virtual at the Stupa. This was intriguing and we spent over an hour and a half there for a gold coin donation. We can recommend a visit and to check it out.Back to current business: we have never really seen this ruin before and it is hard to resist going beyond for a peek, but we behaved ourselves and restricted our activity to being very satisfied with what we found. A nicely crafted container at an historic ruin which we think is worthy of a Fav point.TFTC

The bananas think that this owner has taken the mantle as most preferred geocachers to look out for.The few that we have done have been precise steps, clear instructions that lead to well constructed collusions to shows he/she cares about this game. I have not met the owner as our paths have not crossed but the bananas would like to rectify that in the near future and give them a hearty handshake for the pleasure they have given the bananas.World class enjoyment. And obviously another favourite point.

Fabulous in its dilapidation. Only a few scratches on me. TFTC
