Of course Mary & David were there. Not a lot of rubbish to find. M thought Dalerious should have had scales to weigh our bags. Wink Our thanks to catnap777.

I had decided to join the second day of *The Great Victorian Cache Crawl*... so I was up early to get to Tatura with a couple of hours available to go cache hunting before the activities kicked off there with a CITO. With 6 caches found around Tatura, it was time to join the crowd and collect some rubbish... not that there was a lot... but that didn't matter, it was the thought that counted (also, the lack of rubbish meant that it wasn't embarrassing to take some time out to find a couple of caches while we were at it). Thanks **catnap777** and **dalerious** for organising this event.

18-Aug-24
Are we allowed to log our own Event?I guess catnap777 and I should at least get the chance to say thankyou to all that attended making our tidy town even tidier. We are very proud of our community here in Tatura, and it appears our community is very proud of its park. Together we have left Cusson Park a bit of a showpiece.Thankyou to all who attended and we hope you all enjoyed "crawling" through Tatura.

The second day of The Great Victorian Cache Crawl 2024 and 2 days of fun and laughs is in full swing. So after an event on Friday night then five events yesterday which included a delicious tea and with quite a few caches along the way then a bit of a sleep it was time for day two of the crawl. So after a great start to the morning with a snag or 2 then a trip up to the Barmah State Forest then some silo art thrown in it was time to head to Tatura for the CITO.I was here a few weeks ago and the place was spotless and it still is.It is great to see that the people of Tatura take pride in their town.Walked around and picked up some small items and remembered to do the Ad Lab waypoint as well.Congrats to catnap777 and dalerious on this great event. Thanks catnap777 and dalerious TFTEC

18-Aug-24
We arrived a bit late, and while most of the area was clean, there wasnt much to see, and there was no rubbish on the ground.

18-Aug-24
I had walked around this park earlier this year, and I was impressed by the lack of rubbish which I usually see in these places. Today was not different. Although we had plenty of willing helpers, there wasn't much rubbish to be picked up. Congratulations to the residents, and council, of Tatura. Thanks catnap777 and Dalerious for holding this event.

18-Aug-24
Nothing like a CITO to complete a Cache Crawl. This a great park I havent really had a good chance to explore properly. The park was remarkably clean and the little left was soon cleared up by the crowd. Thanks dalerious and Catnap777 for organising the event.

18-Aug-24
The cache crawl was on and this year apart from the Friday night dinner which I couldn't make it to I will be doing the whole crawl. Today on the return trip the weather was much better and it was much more enjoyable not needing the raincoat all the time. Not much rubbish around here but we did a big loop and worked out the multi on our travels. Thanks catnap777 for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

18-Aug-24
We cached, we crawled, we cleaned, we CITO'd. Though not much rubbish to collect it gave us a moment to catch our breath and just enjoy the beautiful park here. Thanks to catnap777 and dalerious, aka Mr & Mrs H, for hosting this event as part of the Great Victorian Cache Crawl 2024. You guys rock. Cache on ??

18-Aug-24
*18/8/2024, Attended from 11:21AM, Find # 3879.*I came prepared with all TOTT to pick up rubbish. A beautiful day to explore the park and grab a cache here and there. **Thanks to catnap777 for hosting this Eventcache.**

18-Aug-24
We were late to this CITO and others had made short work of cleaning up this lovely wetland. We did have a nice chat with the hosts and enjoyed a stroll through the park, looking in vain for any rubbish.

18-Aug-24
Arrived a bit late. Thanks catnap777 for host this CITO ??

11:11Day 2 of this year's Cache Crawl...Travelling once again with ThePacman. We got here just after the event started, and I teamed up with n0w0rries to see if we could collect some rubbish. Apparently the Council had preempted our efforts, making getting this area looking immaculate a, er, walk in the park. They had missed a few spots, so our efforts weren't in vain.Obviously, we picked up a cache or two while picking up rubbish. Thanks, catnap777.#9134

18-Aug-24
What a wonderful park. So clean and tidy and hard to find any rubbish. Thanks Catnap777 for the hosting duties.

18-Aug-24
Came to clean up rubbish but barely found a scrap. I guess thats a good thing! Whether it was the cachers that came earlier than us or whether it was just a tidy park, Im not sure. A lovely spot that will be all the better for a quick clean up. Thanks for hosting and for the coords for the multi!

18-Aug-24
For a location to look so clean on the surface, we were actually able, as a group, to find several bags of rubbish - YAY!! This was certainly a lovely location to visit after we had very much enjoyed yesterday's festivities and the various locations it took us to.My travel buddies across the weekend included the gorgeous Snap Happy and the lovely TheDame. We also had fun caching with other caching buddies.Thank you so much for hosting this CITO event and for contributing to this fabulous Victorian Cache Crawl weekend!

18-Aug-24
A lovely area to walk around whilst participating in the CITO.A beaut weekend exploring Victoria with others on "The Great Victorian Cache Crawl". Thank you very much to all of the event hosts and to Geocaching Victoria.

Found 18 Aug 2024 at 11:02:54AMOut for the weekend with sedgwickDave, aim was to attend many of the Cache Crawl 24 events and find some select caches along the way. It too much rubbish here but a nice stroll around the park picking up what we could along the way. Many thanks to catnap777 for placing The Great Victorian Cache Crawl - CITO for us all to find. We went for a long walk through the park following many others. Razz Because of that more caches than CITO was collected but did manage to remove some included a broken bottle run over by the mover and shattered into many, many shards. Twisted A very pristine park left in the wake of the crawl. Smile Well done organizers CoolThe 2024 Geocaching Victoria Event Crawl: Cool Day 4: Echuca crawling back to Seymour and then onto Kaniva. Two days of traveling over from S.A. and three days of Events, numerous Adventure Labs, lots of fun, mishaps, and even a few caches found as we crawled around in search of smilies. Big Grin My companions for the Crawl were Muff1. Cool So Good to catch up with lots of caching friends. [:X]**Thanks catnap777 for organizing this great event. ** Big Grin

18-Aug-24
Possibly the cleanest park weve ever seen! Hope we made a small difference. Thanks for organising and hosting this event, catnap777 ??

18-Aug-24
With so many in attendance, it is a bit of a shame that there wasn't more work to be done. Thanks for organising this event, Happy to lend a hand.

18-Aug-24
We didn't think that we were going to find any rubbish when we arrived but managed to find a corner where almost half a bag of rubbish had been dumped. Glad we could lend a hand. Thanks for organising.

18-Aug-24
It was time to start the return journey of the Great Victorian Cache Crawl. I couldnt believe how many cachers had joined for the full trip this year and were ready to enjoy Day 2. Plenty of social opportunities, loads of caches to find and just good fun to be had! With the car packed one last time it was on the road we go. This was one of the many stops made along the way.We made it just in time and set about exploring this beautiful park. The sun was out, however the rubbish was not, which is a good thing in some ways. A great clean park, and a good chance to meet one of the locals who overseas the community engagement with these areas. Thanks catnap777 for hosting as part of the Great Victorian Cache Crawl.-Are you ready for Victorias next big event?Join us for Victorias first ever *Block Party* to celebrate 25 years of geocaching.**When:** March 22 - 23, 2025**Where:** Hume Global Learning Centre, SunburyLog your will attend at [**GCAP417: The Sunbury Event** ](https://coord.info/GCAP417) Visit our [**Block Party website** ](https://geocachingvictoria.com.au/the-sunbury-event) for more details on the exciting lineup of events and activities as they are released!

18-Aug-24
Icybeetas and I were late arriving at the CITO due to a detour to restock my bonus cache in Tongala, which had been muggled again, emptied, and the side bent in. Luckily icybeetas was able to straighten the side, we restocked it with a new log book and SWAG donated by gregandjudi and the Evil Muggle. We met up with other cachers there who had just completed the ad labs and were looking for a logbook to sign.So we were all late but, better late than never.Your park is so clean my magpie cache is no longer there. It is funny that the cacher from SA who was supposed to be bringing my replacement magpie from there (it had already been placed as a cache in SA so was no longer available)but he spent a quarter of an hour under the tree, with fishing pole at the ready, looking for the magpie he should have brought with him, not realising this one was disabled, as he didnt connect the two, and hadnt updated his map.I am still working on a replacement, a temporary one will be put up in the meantime. Thanks catnap777 and dalerious for holding the CITO as part of the beaut cache crawl.Sorry you were unable to participate in the whole crawl but be assured Tatura is a more beautiful place because you both reside there

18-Aug-24
Thanks for having us along.

18-Aug-24
A beautiful spot for a CITO. We couldnt find much to collect as a lot of people had picked up stuff before us. Thanks for the event.

18-Aug-24
What a weekend... Aim for this weekend was to hit my 3000th Cache and have an awesome time on the cache crawl. Left early afternoon Friday iwh the muggle wife and headed up to Macedon stopping at a few caches along the way.Checked into our hotel in Macedon and then heading across to Riddell's Creek for the pre crawl dinner. A great crowd and some tasty food then it was back for an early night.Saturday morning I woke to a lot of rain that continued throughout the day, first stop was Sunbury for the 7am meet a few caches in the town and then up the road to Malmsbury for a pie and a coffee, next was onto Bendigo for lunch and a walk around the lake. After that it was on the road again to Colbinabbin for a cup of tea and to celebrate Roaming Howies 18,000 cache. The painted Silo's are amazing... next was a drive up to Echuca to check into the hotel. After a brief rest and a walk along the river we heading to the pub for dinner, followed by a few drinks in the Gin Distillery. In the morning I headed over to NSW to grab a few ad labs before the breakfast meet and then it was back on the road again to Cussen Park in Tatura for the CITO followed by lunch. After lunch it was onto the final stop in Seymour to celebrate the mazing cache crawl and my 3000th cache on my 6th Anniversary of Geocaching. A massive thanks to every who helped organise and support the event, everyone who hid the caches and gave me pointers when I was stuck. What an awesome community we have. 793Km covered and 116 Caches found... not a bad weekend. Thanks for the cache and the hideLog Book has been signed and Returned or answers sent to cache ownerFind #2994

A great place for a CITO, but a lack of rubbish, and plenty of of cachers made the task finding rubbish a D3. This is my first event on the Great Vic Cache Crawl, so thanks for having me.

18-Aug-24
A lovely location thanks for hosting

18-Aug-24
Thanks for the fun to make the task easier. Nice park for the event

18-Aug-24
It was very nice to visit such a lovely park, sadly for the CITO it was almost pristine. It was like when your mother gets help in to clean up the house and so she cleans it up before hand so that they don't think badly of her. TFTC.

18-Aug-24
The Sun came out for us today. A beautiful clean up area which was already very clean. Thanks for the event guys.

18-Aug-24
What lovely weather you have put on for this CITO on top of the weather the lack of rubbish was wonderful on all accounts - catnap77 and dalerious.

18-Aug-24
An awesome day for a stroll in the park with friends.TFTC

Beautiful weather for a clean up! This park was already very clean, not much rubbish was found.

18-Aug-24
Lots of bodies made very quick work of cleaning up this stunning location. Thanks for giving us the opportunity today catnap777 and dalerious. Always great to expand the LGAs for CITOs.

18-Aug-24
Attended with half of Victoria.Certainly a very clean park and despite walking around, we didnt manage to find too much so the meagre efforts upon our return seemed embarrassing. But its pretty clean and all others seemed to have a similar experience. Thanks for hosting this event.

18-Aug-24
Cusses Park is a lovely spot and amazingly very clean. Thanks catnap777 for organising the CITO Event.

18-Aug-24
Attended thanks, enjoyed strolling around here for other caches ??

18-Aug-24
On our way - should get there in time to pick up some rubbish and SL.

18-Aug-24
No rubbish to collect by the time we arrived, but plenty of folks to say hello to and SL at 11.35am A lovely park to wander in. #11,140 Thanks for organising catnap777 - now onto lunch!

18-Aug-24
Hey, hey, hey! What an awesome event guys.Wasn't it fantastic that someone from [email protected] was there to support our cause and get involved with geocaching. What a partnership.Super effort on the amount of rubbish that you all found. 10kg was the official total collected. We are amazed you found that much.We have a diligent group of Council workers in our town, and they do an awesome job keeping the place so neat and tidy.dalerious and I hope you all enjoyed your time with us, and got to enjoy what this gorgeous town has to offer. I am sure you got to find some wonderful caches placed out by The Blind Side, Cybergran V, Lorigus74 and myself.Have a safe drive back home, and see you all again on the road soon. You all come back now, hear.

18-Aug-24
Day 2 of the very enjoyable cache crawl and back to a 2 person team we are now heading south picking up what ever comes by.We rolled up here a few minutes late and immediately grabbed a bag and headed off to try and find some rubbish. To the credit of the shire there wasn't a lot of rubbish to be found. We headed out on to the main road as well but still didn't even manage to quarter fill our bag but every little bit helps to keep Australia clean. Many thanks for hosting this CITO in this great little park.

18-Aug-24
I didnt find much rubbish but I did manage to find a couple of caches which was a bonus. Thanks for organizing.

18-Aug-24
I arrived a little late but still managed to collect some rubbish so Cussen Park was a little cleaner after this CITO. The council are to be commended in the way they have kept this area relatively clear of rubbish. Thank you catnap777 and dalerious for organizing the event. As for the excellent weather a higher authority needs to be thanked for that.

18-Aug-24
Its great to see so many turn up for the CITO, however the park was in a relatively clean state when I arrived. Thanks to catnap777 for organising this event

18-Aug-24
Event #7 of 9 for the weekend. This was our first time attending a CITO event: during the 2024 Cache Crawl. While most of us walked around not finding much in the way of rubbish in the park, we managed to find a bags worth of rubbish when we ventured just outside the park at one of the entrances. Thanks for organising this event during the Cache Crawl.

18-Aug-24
We attended the CITO as part of the The Great Victorian Cache Crawl. The weather was beautiful and we had a great time wandering around the park. We didnt find much rubbish today as the park was pretty clean but was did find a couple of caches. Thanks Catnap777 for organising the CITO

18-Aug-24
After a night in Tatura, time for today's events.Collected a few AdLabs and caches on the way around.I had completed all the caches in this park, so I was only after rubbish today.A very clean park! Not much of a yield. A nice park to walk around and chat to other geocachers though. Thanks, Robmc.

18-Aug-24
We grabbed a bag and headed into the park, but it's a pretty park and it was hard to find much rubbish. So we headed for the roadside where most stuff would blow in from and hit the jackpot. I said ftf should be awarded to the heaviest bag, someone said I'd just fill my bag with rocks (but that would be a bit obvious)

18-Aug-24
Lovely location for this CITO. We enjoyed exploring the area which was remarkably clean when we got there. Not much rubbish found but did find a couple of cool caches. Thanks catnap777 and delirious for organising.

18-Aug-24
Made it with seconds to spare having got caught up on a couple of tricky hides!Great to see the difference we make

18-Aug-24
My plan for this weekend was attending most of the "The Great Victorian Cache Crawl" while collecting old geocaches, multicaches, and a tree climb for the adventure. Plus, whatever else caught our eyes as we passed.Of the old geocaches, it looks like we got...X2 2001X2 2002X2 2005X1 2006X3 2007Favourite caches of the weekend we were the 2001 caches. Not because they were old ones, but because the items at GC255F were completely unexpected, and the adventure at GC277B of walking over the flooded spillway and climbing the cliff in the rain was risky and therefore exciting. Overall, not huge numbers of caches found, but a great weekend adventure. Big thanks to Geocaching Victoria for organising the events and getting so many geocachers to attend. Arrived after following a geocaching convoy from Echuca. Then, we spotted our Muggle relations waiting for us. From them, we soon discovered why there was not a lot of rubbish in the park. When the council knows the park is hosting a big event, they send a team to clean the park up the day before. Pretty cool idea. Thanks for the cache, Cat Nap 777, and Dalerious.Hunter
