#6229Grabbed this one after picking up cheap fuel in Rivo. The trees were out in flower (they looked so pretty) so it was just a matter of which one held the cache. Found it and signed the log. Thanks S777.
The Metro extension to Sydenham is finally open, and its too good a chance to pass up. So the Geowife and I rode the entire length of it. Ive got to say it ran flawlessly and you dont even notice youre travelling under the harbour! But before we set off we detoured for a find. Nice quick and easy search. I spotted it on a walk past and left it to the Geowife to spot it and make the grab.We signed, replaced and off to a very packed Tallawong car park.SLTNLNTFTC
Day 1 of the metro from Tallawong to Sydenham, so a quick detour first. We sat up the front and pretended to be the driver, with Gatherer Hade; tftc
TFTC logged as TT72.GPS bounced around a little so I filled hint of getting it down to 0, well 1 in my case and stepped off the path to find.
Well that took forever, I found it about 3m SW along the path from my indicated GZ, thanks.
We are on another short (three day) caching holiday in North Western Sydney, staying for two nights in a park cabin at the Ingenia Holidays Avina BIG4 Holiday Park at Vineyard. Hoping to collect some more previously solved Mystery/Puzzle caches, complete some of the newly placed Adventure Labs and SideTracked caches, and accumulate some "units of fuel" for the new "Cosmic Quest" souvenir challenge. Photos will be uploaded to logs on our return to home base.Today (day 1) we travelled out to Vineyard, going via the M2 & M7 Motorways from Delhi Road North Ryde to the Sunnyholt Road exit, then through Acacia Gardens, Parklea, Quakers Hill, Schofields and Riverstone to reach our accommodation. Collected numerous Traditional caches, a couple of SideTracked caches, a previously solved Mystery/Puzzle cache, and a five stage Adventure Lab with AL Bonus cache that we passed along the route. This was the 18th of 18 finds for the day (day 1), and 18th find of the holiday. This one was next, parking the geomobile in Riverbrae Avenue, then heading down the path beside the canal for a reasonably quick find at GZ. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. TFTC S777.Find #6926
Hmm, I logged a find on this cache about 10 minutes ago but for some reason it hasn't registered. Second attempt. With the call of cheap petrol out here in the west of the Hills, it's 43 cents per litre cheaper than near my home turf, I headed out here for some caching and that petrol. I've been out here before but it has changed so much. Last time this was all open paddocks, and now it's so developed and not so nice in my opinion. These canals could flood, wouldn't want to live too close in some of Sydney's wet spells. I parked near the canal and walked down to GZ. I'm never sure about this type of hide. You either spend ages searching or spot the cache immediately. Hoping for a quick find I stepped off the path when the GPS said 0m, and ....... spotted it immediately. Thank goodness for that!TFTC # 6120
Just took a slightly different route into Rivo today as we were going there anyway. This cache was an easy find with good numbers. Thanks for the cache placement go to S777.
Headed this way with goingplaces2 to make an easy find here in a muggle free area. TFTC.
With sevabo and we find it and sign the log as EV and sevabo. Thanks for the caches and hunt.
Streak Day #3986 - Out this way with Dave8153 for our cache of the day, stopped by for a find after a few mins. TFTC

9 June 2024This is find number: 9750Streak Day: 3097Found Today with Snoopy1976, took us a few minutes to spot. ThanksThanks to S777 for placing and maintaining this cache. TFTC
A quick find after peeking at the hint before this approaching rain hits, thanks S777
Have been out of the game for a while but still receive new cache published notifications, saw this one pop up and had a spare 30 minutes so decided to have a go. So many new dwellings getting built in this new area! Didn't take took long to find this one although it was in the thirteenth place I looked. SL as {*FTF*} at 10:53am, TFTC S777!
#14451 12:30STF! It seems Sydney is forever expanding with the same dull, predicatable developments. The opening of the metro has certainly accelerated the development around Tallawang and Riverstone. The cache was quickly spotted and logged.TFTC S777.
