Wow, after Terry climbed the ladder and managed to grab this one, think this a title more than four meters up....as my ladder was fully extended to 3.2..meters...but we got it...TFTC denif.
Bit of a knee trembler this one! But we did it thanks to Buz21b's ladder and sturdy grip. TFTC!
Took a while to spot but once I had found, made the climb reasonably quickly. Signed and on my way. TFTC
My little sister made the climb look easy here. She used Dad as a ladder and made the find with a bit of a leap of faith from one section of the plank to another. TNLN TFTC
Sneaky Ninja Girl nailed this. A boost from Dad to get up, and then she walked the plank, and used Dad as a ladder - she hung off the plank and I provided a human TOTT. Teamwork! What a legend of a 10 year old she is! All those parkour lessons are paying off its her favourite for the day so its an FP from us! TNLN TFTC
Lovely find! First time climbing a tree, you never know what your going to do geocaching tftc!
Found, with shaneo58, We came to Greta/Rutherford area to attempt all the new caches placed since we've been here last. A bit hard to spot initially but managed to get to it.Signed log and Cache replaced as found.**Thanks For The Cache** Deni_f.This makes the 5th cache of 9 for today making a grand total of 4433 at 11:45AM on this Thursday the 4th of July in the Year 2024
I really hang on tight while signing this cache as I didn't want to get too close to the locals. A fav for me. TFTC and another adrenalin rush deni_f
Much like deni_f I used to love climbing trees as a kid, but something happened in my mid thirties where my abilities seemed to disappear. Often I now rely on my eldest son to do the climbing. Today I didn't have said eldest son with me. I was going to have to attempt this on my own. I located the cache fairly easily and then had to plan my attack. Strangely I managed easier than I thought. Quickly had cache in hand, steadied myself to sign log and descended with no harm done. TFTC
Well, was that an adventure. Spotting the cache was the easy part but then we had the Eagle ID Goldberry17 with us. then the fun began. The retractable letter we managed to get up then the brave one climbed up the ladder and got it. The wind was blowing it was b cold and she seemed to take forever to sign the log and put it back on a moving platform. Then to dismantle the ladder We are still speaking to each other Now onto the next one
OMG! Spotted the cache but getting it down was another challenge. Thanks to a brave 2pods who climbed the telescopic ladder while we two watched the ladder to make sure it behaved itself - a responsible job. A very cold morning with a wind from Antarctica! A beautiful little cemetery - thanks for placing a cache here!
#7832A public holiday, no school, no work, that means caching! Decided to head out this way for the new Haunted Woods trail, and take a (long) detour home for a new tree climb nearby! end of copy paste Took a while to spot, but once we did I walked the plank and came up with a cache! TNLN SL FPThanks for placing and maintaining this cache Deni_f
**FTF** 07:10pm well what a day spent 2 hours this moring at a over 60's villa teaching them about geocaching and then spent the afternoon doing a few at branxton by the same CO and a little maintaince as well on another stolen cache, sitting down finishing dinner and had a message from CO about the days caches when this one came through, wife still had her shoes on so out the door in the flogging rain, to make a quick find and a quick retrieve and off to HJ to celebrate with a soft serve, sorry grandma left a few wheel marks in your driveway as we made an exit from the cemetery, looks like caching Karma was smiling on us today ??fav from me
