Oldmorty and I had a selection of caches north of the Parramatta River to find today and all were found! Again no one to be seen here and followed the hint to the letter and wasnt disappointed. TFTC!
Headed over the bridge today with morty8888 to grab a few caches. We seemed to remember a previous cache in this area. What a lovely neighbourhood park. A quick find with the hint. Cache all good. SLRC as found. TFTC
Find #: 3,721Companions: NoneMuggles: A young familyWeather: Grey spring morningCache condition: GoodAfter running the Rhodes parkrun I found some nearby caches, and this was my final find on the way home. I recognised the park (from a previous cache? taking the kids here in their younger days?), which is a nice feature for the local area. There were some muggles right next to GZ, so I needed to doomscroll for a while until they left, after which I was able to make a quick find - TNLNSL TFTC
Fun to do with an amazing playground near. We took a small heart in trade for a cockatoo toy.TFTCTilly rose and mum
Early morning find before my first job locally. No one about. All dry inside.TFTC
A third bonus cache while out walking while my geomobile was being serviced in Buffalo Rd. What a pretty park - wasnt expecting two totem poles! TFTC
20 August 2024This is find number: 10355Streak Day: 3169Found Today with Snoopy1976, a quick and easy find. ThanksThanks to jennae for placing and maintaining this cache. TFTC
Streak Day #4058 - Out this way with Dave8153 for our cache of the day, stopped by for a quick find. TFTC
Found with [@coybear2000](https://coord.info/PR9547H). We were in the area to visit family and decided to try for this one beforehand. We parked and headed to GZ and started our search. We checked the hint and noticed that there were several potential spots that fitted. C chose correctly and soon had CIH. Log signed and all replaced and we continued on our way. TFTC.
Once upon a time I used to play softball for school sport here when it was an oval and Ryde High was across the road. Now its a really interesting park with lots to do. A quick find with Gatherer Hade, tftc
Out with the Geowife looking for a new placement in a park Ive been to twice before. In fact Im pretty sure this one is exactly where the last one I found here was.And it was a good time to be here as the playground was almost empty, so no one to watch us search. So a quick ID of HZ for me, but I let my companion work it out before diving in for the grab.Took it onto the playground to complete signing duties, and had a look at what was there - for the grandkids, of course.Signed (using yesterdays date - oops), replaced and off to visit Geospn #2.SLTNLNTFTC
With the playground buzzing and three of the first item in the hint, it took me a while to spot the second item. TFTC.
A quick find on our way to the Meadowbank Event. It is a nice park that I visited before to grab a cache. TFTC
A quick find on a somewhat ordinary day, but any day you find a cache is a good day! TFTC
After a geocaching event out at Galston early this morning I called in to Yamble Reserve to look for this cache.Today there were Sulphur-crested Cockatoos, White Ibis and one rabbit all enjoying the grass. I know this park quite well as I used to walk my dog here a couple of decades ago, before geocaching was even in existence. It was a very basic park then, just grass and open space. I'm impressed with the layout now! There was a cache in this park years ago. The GPS had me wandering around that day and with no hint it was slow work. Fast forward to today ... the hint is helpful and guess what .... the cache is in exactly the same spot!tftc # 6100
We are on another short (three day) caching holiday in Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains, staying for two nights in a park cabin at the Ingenia Nepean River BIG4 Holiday Park at Emu Plains. Hoping to collect the new Adventure Labs, Letterbox, Traditional, and Puzzle/Mystery caches that have appeared around Penrith & surrounds since our last visit to the area back in May 2023. Will also be returning to the lower Blue Mountains for some new caches and to attend a Winter Solstice Event at Mount Riverview, and a Post Winter Solstice CITO Event the following day at Cranebrook.Today (day 3) the holiday is over and we are heading home, but will still be collecting some caches and Adventure Labs along the way. Will be stopping for a few caches at St Mary's, re-visiting a previous DNF at Claremont Meadows, and visiting Western Sydney University for a five stage Adventure Lab. After that it will be just the odd cache or AL stage at Ermington, Ryde, and Macquarie Park. Photos will be uploaded to logs on our return to home base. This was the 13th of 14 finds for the day (day 3), and 45th find of the holiday. This was the next cache we came to, parking the geomobile in the carpark on Quarry Road, then heading up into the park and around to GZ. Quickly uncovered the hide and had CIH. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. There's lots of interesting totem poles at and around GZ. TFTC jennae.Find #6895
Attended an event this afternoon in Gladesville, thus called in here on the way home. Gates were locked, so parked in the drive and walked over for a quick find.Cant comment on the park as there is no lighting and pitch black, thanks for the hide jennae
