Headed for a few newish caches after a job in Gosford. When it was first published, I struggled a bit as not all notepads are the same.Knew where to start and soon had numbers for WP2. Followed directions and was lost for a while until I spotted the nicely disguised numbers/letter.Again back on the trail, well lack of it in a certain precarious place.Slipping soon afterwards, down a slope, cant imagine how this could be whenever showers hit.Safe to say the container looks like itll be here for a long time, safe from muggles, thanks team novo

#7746After an enjoyable morning collecting BFJ's new Island series at the Entrance, I decided to return home via Avoca Beach to grab the first instalment of this letterbox series. I had started some research from home and knew exactly where to start. Collected the required info and started following the detailed instructions. I'm not usually very good at following instructions so was hoping that I wouldn't make a meal of it. Things started off well and then there was a head scratch moment (I suspect the same one that BFJ encountered). I had to laugh once the penny dropped. The path certainly narrowed as I proceeded and was at the final step much earlier than anticipated. Spotted the prize before I finished counting. Not quite what I was expecting given my encounter at 2250 but still very fitting. I noticed that the FTF prize was still in the cache...TFTC team novo

well, after a false start at the given coords, seeing there was something to do, but not on my phone, i went home and tried a few things. chatting with another player, they suggested a technique i had not heard of. new skill aquired. today i came and followed the path, a little confusing but doable. step 4 was ?, but i worked through it. i was soon T3'ing, and counting again. spotted the LB right where you said it was. took a souvenir for my exploits, and managed to get a reasonable impression from your stamp. must make a stamp, and carry an ink pad. enjoyable change to the norm. TFTC. Fav from me. I wonder who will be the first to stamp their own stamp in the log.

We parked up the side road and started to follow instructions. I was a bit daunted by where we had to go as our balance is no longer great and the traffic here is full on any time of day. Anyway, we made it through the directions and I dived off to find the letterbox while MrsFish hung onto a nearby item trying to ignore cars whizzing past. The approach to GZ was definitely terrain 3, possibly more for me, and any trees and saplings were well used by the time I reached the cache. Thanks for a great hide and well done on the preparation put into this cache, but how on earth did you find this place?

I headed over to Avoca the day after publication to attempt this cache, soon joined by Bedlem2 and rozway at the first waypoint. From there it was easy going until I reached the third location, where I couldn't see anything matching the options. After a lot of head-scratching and back-tracking, I decided to head over to Avoca Beach for lunch while I pondered it some more. With no fresh ideas, I returned home, intending to message the CO to see where I'd gone wrong, but before doing that I had a quick look at the location on Street View and immediately it hit me. Talk about look but didn't see! How did I miss that?Anyway, roll on a few days and I decided to take advantage of the nice weather today to continue my journey. The rest of the waypoints were easily located and resolved, then it was into the bush where I soon spotted the well-made themed container. Many thanks and an FP for the nicely executed LBH and for all the effort that went into creating it.
