Well another day to tick off a cache. So why not grab one on the way home from cricket training. Lucky we have a high vehicle and a boy that likes to climb for this one. TFTC
Jack's first geocache hide was an exciting milestone in his geocaching journey. After finding numerous caches and learning the ins and outs of the game, he decided it was time to create his own. Jack chose a local park with beautiful scenery and plenty of hiding spots. He carefully selected a location that was both challenging and rewarding for finders. He picked a sturdy, weatherproof container and filled it with fun trinkets and a logbook for finders to sign. Jack also included a "First to Find" prize for the first geocacher to discover his hide. He meticulously noted down the coordinates, ensuring they were accurate to avoid any frustration for future seekers.Once everything was ready, Jack submitted the cache details to Geocaching.com, eagerly awaiting its approval. A few days later, he received the green light, and his cache was officially published. He couldn't wait to see who would find it first and read their logs.Jack's first cache hide not only added a new adventure for his fellow geocachers but also gave him a sense of accomplishment and a deeper connection to the geocaching community.Come visit SA's longest running annual event -keep the Long weekend free- June 2025 Can't wait!!2639
Away for a few days on Eyre Peninsula to try and get some more caches.Lot's of driving between the caches this time.Luckily I left when I did, as the next night there was a big storm and large hail. That wouldn't have been fun in the swag. This one also took 2 visits. Eventually spotted it. While I was retrieving the cache a police car pulled over a local so their flashing lights made me invisible to passing motorists. Neat hide.TFTC
Travelling with richlink on our Annual Caravan Geocaching road trip, using geocaching as our guide. After 3 months on the geotrail, we're heading west towards home, gathering a few more smilies as we go. Well done Jack, we had fun getting your cache, and we gave it a favourite point. TNCU
Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state of WA on a SA caching foray. After being in this beautiful State for nigh on three months it is time for us to head back home. Easy find on our way through to Ceduna. Good fun retrieving. Thanks tessa_jade
Out with Where's_Wolly_& Sharon, Sharon used the fishing pole for the 1st time, and caught the fish. We stamped log and replaced. Thanks to CO for placing it.
TFTC,What a great day, out caching with Where's_Wally_Sharon and learning about the Eyre Peninsula, visited trackables.Great cache.
TFTC. Out caching with wazza9 & Nana Nel showing them around. Happy caching and safe travels!
Have switched out the cache container to a more suitable one fore this location.
Unfortunately this one didnt function quite as expected, we will have to make some adjustments & hope to have it back in play in the next fortnight
*FTF* with Picca2. Nothing like a morning caching expedition before work! Retrieved from the wrong side of the tree. Replacing should have been straight forward, but we had pole issues. Still managed to make it to work on time! Thanks for our morning adventure Jack!
