Visiting the Adelaide region for a week from Port Macquarie. Today was a mixed day, this morning we drove into the city to visit the South Australian Museum and the candy store in Rundle Mall, with just a couple of caching stops on the way in. Our afternoon was dedicated entirely to caching, initially focusing on specific caches in the eastern and southern suburbs of Adelaide, as well as grabbing a few bonus finds with whatever time we had left. We then wrapped up the day with a fantastic Thai dinner. Very very cool location with such important history attributed to it, interesting that it is just right in the middle of suburbia these days. Waited for a muggle and their very chubby but happy golden retriever to pass before searching. Quick find in a familiar spot. Thanks for the cache
A stop off in Glenelg North after an event at Becks this morning. Surely a compulsory cache for all South Australians! Sad to say that my very first visit to this spot was only recently, and also caching related. Id not long replaced the cache when I noticed what appeared to be another caching team starting their search. Great fun watching the young girl wrestling with the industrial strength magnet. Thanks for showcasing this important piece of South Australian history Capt John Freddo RN.
Thanks for placing and maintaining the cache. Help by a fellow cacher made this a quick find.
It is embarrassing to say, but I have lived in SA all my life and never been to the proclamation tree. I guess I have never had anything to proclaim, well, at least not to whole world. I do proclaim that I have been here, taken a photo, found a cache, and departed without anyone seeing me (not hard, it is tv-oclock on a Sunday night). Out collecting a few smileys and performing maintenance when the roads are clear or mayhem. Thanks for the multicache Freddo, find #10271 at 7.41pm
Tuesday Trekking time again and this time I was driving my upgraded geomobile. After picking up the Starfish and the Rat from the Rat's nest we headed south with the main playing field being west of the city. As there was a new AdLab just south of the city and I was driving it was also on the list, most found were newish caches that we all wanted but there was always going to be a few others found just because we could, and they were there. Didn't quite complete the list but did a bit of cherry picking to make sure the most desirable ones were found before heading back to the Rat's nest after another satisfying day's caching that the newish Rav4 passed with flying colours.A quick find after making sure the numbers were right. Thanks to Captn John Freddo RN for adding to the playing field with this cache.Smilie #15487.I would like to acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of this Land, and their continuing connection to it. I also wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, and to Elders past, present and emerging.*This log composed and published using GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife).*
Something special or unusual goes here:That's my type of maths. Coords a sort walk and a quick find for the Rat. The Generic Bit:Tuesday Trekking this week for some Confused Puzzlers. Once again Ttrogg and I made out way to the Sewer Rats nest to meet. [^] Our target today was the new solved puzzles around there and to the west of the city. Of course we picked up a few others whilst passing. All caches in great condition and found to have good logs unless mentioned above. [:X]***Thanks Freddo for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. *** Logs prepared and published through GSAK.
Woo hoo time for another Tuesday Trekking for the usual Confused Puzzlers. The plan for today was to meet at the Rat's nest. Then we hopped into the new ttrogg geomobile. We gathered our numbers and did the calcs.A quick find for us today.Stamped the logbook and replaced as found. Tftc
Found today, just before a birthday party gang arrived, geodog provided appropriate cover, didnt find it easily and took a couple of attempts to grab from its hiding place. Signed log and returned quickly.
Found at 15:34 whilst geocycling in the area. We came here a few times during my school years on "excursions", and also once for Lukaskywalker's birthday party, and maybe another cache. Easy find today.
Today out and about on 221 of 274 days to get my daily cacher Emerald Using my Garmin Etrex 22X and MacBook Air!Thanks for the cacheTFTC

Out at West Beach meeting a friend for walk with her dog. Whilst waiting I noticed a newish multi not too far away. After we went our separate ways off I went to the multi. Well there were two bus loads of school kids in the little park obviously having a history lesson. I went & found a cafe & had coffee & cake. Returned to gz as the buses pulled away so finally had park to myself except for the dog!!! Found, sat & signed. Tftc Fav point added for bringing us to this historic spot.
On the way to the breakfast event this morning I stopped by this new multi. I searched but didn't open my eyes well enough so PAFd the Co, cache was still there, signed and replaced as found. Thanks for the hide
A distant second place for me today. I was well and truly asleep when Jolly was signing the fresh log. Thanks Freddo for placing a multi here. It was nice to stop and take in the history.TFTC
Driving past on the way back from helping my shonky mum with her gardening stopped for the new Freddo cache between showers of rain. Lots of history here. Mrs shonky had never been here before. Shonky dog enjoyed sniffing the tree.
