Thanks for hosting the event! Honestly didnt know that theres an event going on today until I look up in detail and decide to hop by to congratulate you guys on 10 years Anniversary! Keep calm and keep caching!
I knew that 11am on a Wednesday morning wasn't the best time for an event, but I had to squeeze it into our plans somehow. So I was delighted to see several Will Attends appear quickly.Today we managed to arrange some dry weather & there were people waiting when I arrived before the scheduled start time, with BlLbo arriving fashionably late after a visit to the hotel gymn! We received a warm welcome & it was great to meet local cachers & hear about their adventures. The time flew by & in the end we had to dash to catch our ferry to Taronga Zoo. Thanks to everyone who made the effort to come along.Attended at 11:00 Cache #10466?????
It was a pleasure to be able to help our overseas visitors celebrate such a significant event in their geocaching lives today. To have been playing, and still enjoying, this game for over 10 years is a fantastic achievement (personally, I can't think of another hobby that I have stuck with for that long in my 70 year life), and a milestone that I personally think is much more significant than, say, finding x,000 caches. Congratulations, WHyvNa and BlLbo!!
A trip to The City today meant I could drop by for this event, while Cryptic8 went shopping. A few locals and some visitors turned up to celebrate your 10 year anniversary. It was nice of you to travel to the other side of the world to celebrate, and a pleasure to meet you. Congratulations on the achievement, and enjoy the rest of your holiday in Australia. TFTE
Thank you for hosting, I almost forgot about this event, and a 20-minute train delay saw me get to the event just after it had started. I saw a bunch of familiar faces from other Sydney events and met the hosts, 10 years. Wow, I'm only about 8 1/2 years off .
A very pleasant gathering, and we were lucky with the weather. Nice to catch up with old friends, meet some new ones - and have a first lesson in written Thai.Thankyu, WHyvNA and congratulations on 10 years of geocaching.
A nice day for an event in the botanical gardens! Thanks WHyvNa for the event, and congratulations on 10 years of caching!
Fingers crossed !!!This inspired me to wonder how long I'd been geocaching. Only 8 years. Started 2016, and my total tally of finds and hides pales in comparison to WHyvNa's !!! But what these finds and placements lack in number, I hope they make up for in sheer exoticness and general fabulousness... haha.
I celebrated my 10th geo-versary earlier this year, so I'd love to come and help you celebrate yours ... it is certainly a milestone that is best shared with fellow cachers.
I'll see if I can make it to help celebrate 10 years. It's always nice to take the train into The City.
