This challenge slipped through my limited attention spanIt appears I qualify with some 86 pairs Im sorry to say Im a first generation cacherThanks Pprime (P`)

T-Tech wanted to take a walk to grab a Challenge cache he qualified for, for another Challenge cache he would then be able to qualify for, both of which I have already completed. He asked for my company, so of course I added a few extras to the adventure so I would get some smileys as well We made use of the parking at the nearby fuel stop, then walked back to this bush area. Very easy access made for a pleasant walk around the pond. A slightly more uphill scramble for this one than the last, but a quick find. Pleased to qualify with 51 pairs. TFTC, Prime.

Out with IolantheK for a bit of caching Parked the car a Hunger Jacks and headed out to grab the 4 caches in the area Nice easy find, well its hard to miss such a big cache but alias I don't qualify TFTC Pprime (P`)

Walked along from previous hide then made the climb up the slope to find the cache safe and dry. TFTC.

This morning, I headed to the Deagon area to target a couple of new challenges on offer. A great little area, and it was a reasonably quick jog from the other nearby challenge to get to this location. I've heard of similar challenges like this one, where there have been birthday/anniversay challenges, but I've never really worried of these at all (so it was just convenient that I qualified for this challenge without needing to worry about running around to find certain caches on particular days). Travel past this spot a few times a week. Even worked close by pre caching and had thought this area was too difficult to get into. The instructions for entry were great and the parking coords gave me chance to check out my old work abode.Great to see what a real retention basin is suppose to do. The amount of aquatic life helps keep the mozzie numbers manageable and I'm surprised the area hasn't drawn in a few ferals / grubs to mess up this oasis. After knocking over the CO's recently published caches near Boondall North Station, I stopped at a nearby servo to grab a cold drink and pondered my next moves. These two challenge caches seemed interesting - their location especially so. Found the trailhead and then made my way to the cache. It is surprising how much wildlife there is around this stormwater detention basin. Pprime(P') and Fangsoki had talked Captain Terror and I into taking a stroll to this cache after they had exhausted me with finding 6 other caches in the bush.I staggered down the path (thankfully there were no killer vines along there) and we soon arrived at this cache.I knew that I would have no trouble qualifying for this cache as I had the advantage of finding a few of the older caches before they were archived.Project-GC confirms that....You have found 78 pairs:TFTC Pprime (P`)Now I am finished for the day. Being in the area, I decided to make a short detour to here where I signed the impressive logbook. I wasnt expecting such a good track or the nice birdlife. And was also surprised to see a young teen with his bicycle directly across the water on the other track. I dont think he saw me. Will check later to see if I qualify.

Out for a few hours with nikid1 so we have to make the most of our limited time to find caches for the cosmic quest. Nikid1 had visited this area before so knew exactly where to park & how to get in. I drive past here regularly & never knew you could walk around the little lake. I have quite a lot of work to do before I can turn this one into a smiley - only 5 pairs so far.TFTC Pprime (P`)

I saw this one come out last night and thought there was no way I would get anywhere near the FTF on it as there are a couple of other cachers in the area. But I did have business that I was doing that was a little more important and needed it finished before I could even leave. By the time I could leave it had gone and the gap on my 366 grid will have to wait another year before I can fill it, lol. Today I wandered over to grab this cache in between job tasks. It was an easy walk around and I found the cache easily tucked away. I opened the log and signed my name, Yah (second to find) but a nice cache and a favourite point just the same. I was sitting on the floor, cross legged, building a large letterbox cache when this one was published. M65 read me the blurb but l said "nah, bit involved with this." Two hours later, with the task done for the day, this one was still unfound. As we live so close, we decided to go find it. We were very surprised to find a work crew very close to GZ. Pprime and I had been past this area a few times on bikes and I made mention of it to him - hence we both having caches here.I accompanied Pprime and T4mmmy to GZ and signed the log before publication.
