Another lovely day for a drive in the country to find more jigidi puzzles - at least that was the original thought. In reality there were unsmiling boxes littering the northern suburbs and even a direct route went past far too many to make this a purely country drive. Nevertheless, Owl and JJ52 managed to score an impressive total of urban caches before heading to the hills where they found even more, plus some impressive views. This was found on the way out and looked elusive until the Dragon headed to the other obvious hide.
Another day out with Doctor Owl heading north to find a few more of the Jigidi puzzles along with others that we happened to drive past. It was a lovely day for a drive in the hills with some awesome views ending up at Gawler for lunch before winding our way back home.We started at the wrong spot and it was only after reading the hint and looking further afield that we found the cache. No time for shopping today. Thanks for the cache gridge98.
Thanks for the cache, in between showers we found it, people too interested on getting into shopping
After working this morning it was time to take a drive to find a cache for the day. Yet another on my geocaching map.TFTC gridge98Keep smiling
I haven't been shopping here yet, so I'm not about to drop. Thanks, gridge98, for the hide.
Something special or unusual goes here:A nice quick find in the obvious spot . The Generic Bit:Another Tuesday Trek for some Puzzle solvers. I picked up Mrs. Sewer Rats and then went and picked up Ttrogg. Our target today was to cache our way towards Mawson Lakes for an event later in the day. Of course we detoured and made stops for various unfound caches along the way. Another great day with some TOTTs required, ***Thanks gridge98 for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. *** Logs prepared and published through GSAK.
Left home early for a day's caching in the Gawler to Bolivar area to see if I could achieve a Personal Best month. Most caches were in good condition, but there were some on the Gawler to Port Adelaide trail that needed maintenance that I didn't have with me. TFTCTook a while for the hint to seek in, then it was found quickly.
Found after buying some new walking boots after slopping around in my sandshoes at Belair NPGotta love a smiley face on the map. Thankyou for placing and maintaining it.
No shopping today. Just caching. And lots of caching too. Cache till you drop.Today was the day to find this cache. Today is the twenty third day of Augustus Caesar's Month in the wonderful year of twenty twenty four. We found your cache container and added some inky stuff to the paper sheet or note pad you have supplied for a log book or scroll. The cache container and log book or scroll were in good condition. It was a lot cooler today. Still no wind today. With the log signed and the cache replaced it was time to leave. Onwards to the next cache. Woot, that is not to far.I would like to show my respect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their continuing connection to it. I wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. Found during a caching tour of the northern suburbs between attending two events, the International Geocaching Day 2024 event at Hillcrest and the Cosmic Quest - Adelphi Terrace Reserve event at Glenelg. A quick find while passing through the area. Thanks for the cache gridge98!
Stopped by for a quick find, in a section of carpark that was mostly deserted!Surprised there weren't more finders of these new ones yesterday, I guess ppl were only interested in ftfs... lolTNLNSL Thanks
{FTF} at 1618 Was a little sidetracked when ten new caches were published but they were noticed before too long. Got them all loaded to the phone and realised they were quite close together and not that far away. Being a traditionalist picked one of those to discover it had already been found. Second pick was this one, as yet unlogged so headed off.Parked very close to GZ for a quick find right where it had to be. A pristine log which was soon altered, cache replaced and off to the next one. Thanks to gridge98 for adding this cache to our playing field.
