Happy Birthday, Gavin! So glad I was able to attend this event to celebrate your birthday. It's nice to have caching friends of the same age, as well as those of all ages. I, too, have recently completed my 20th lap around the sun. I love the clever event name btw. Attending this event was a very enjoyable way to spend the evening after a day of caching in the western suburbs and cycling from the Blue Montains to Penrith. From the event table, we had a great water view. It was very pleasant, dining outdoors, and chatting about caching adventures.I appreciated the good company and sharing a cake to celebrate Gavin's B'day after dinner. TFTE gavingo4 I look forward to celebrating your 21st lap around the sun.

Happy 20th Gavingo4! Wishing you many more happy rotations/orbits/laps!!After an hour or two caching round St Marys area, MaxAdventurer and I drove to Springwood where he began another leg of his October Charity Bike Ride to raise money for children's cancer research and support. I was the Road Support Crew, following him down the Old Great Western Highway and Old Bathurst Rd. It was hairy flying around those hairpin bends coming down off the Mountains. [Please support his effort at: https://greatcyclechallenge.com.au/Riders/AlexanderCoan ].The Log Cabin is a great venue for an Event. I remember coming to the old Log Cabin after Head Of The River Rowing Regattas many years ago (in the '90's), before the OG Log Cabin burnt down. The replacement hotel is very spacious with great views over the river. It was great to be able to talk more with Surdivisio and Graubunden as they had an AUSLAN Interpreter with them, which makes it much easier. Also good to see Laighside Legends, Snoopy1976 and Dave8153.Thanks WaywardWoman for organising an awesome chocolate mudcake! TFTE gavingo4
