We had a great time and are looking forward to future catch ups by the water. Thanks CracknLeeLee for organising and putting on lunch: you are hosts with the most ??

What a great location for an event, and to make a weekend of it!The smell of BBQ wafted across the lake and brought cachers from far and wide. The weather held off for most of it and the shelter meant there was no bother when it didnt. The invent inspired a fantastic weekend away and a big thanks goes to Crack'n'LeeLee for taking the time to put this series of event on the geocaching map for us all to attend and enjoy.-Wow! What an event. Great location, great friends, enjoyable time had by all. I caught up with a few that I hadn't seen for a while, partook in a sausage or two, all in all a most enjoyable event. Now for the rest of it. I arrived at Wooropnook Lakes via a circuitous route. Although I live less than 130 kms away. I left Bendigo heading to Melbourne, then Wendouree, then on to Wooroonook Lakes. Camping on site for a couple of nights was blissful. Location was just fabulous, facilities were excellent and maintained daily. What can you say about sitting around a camp fire, chatting with friends, eating delicious icecream, can you ask for more?.Thanks Crack'n'LeeLee for hosting this event cache, enhancing the game board and adding to our enjoyment.

Wooroonook...I'm still having trouble pronouncing this name but what an awesome idyllic lake location with a great set up for camping. Tiz13's van still needs to see the Dr but I didn't want to miss out on this event. So off I went to Kmart to buy up big on some camping gear.. $12 for a tent 7.50 for a mattress and a few more $$ for a chair and table that didn't get used.. what could possibly go wrong?? Thankfully nothing and I can recommend all 4 items. The tent survived the rain over the 2 nights and Tiz13 didn't get wet or blown away. The event was a great success with lots of teams staying for the weekend and or showing up on the day.. the Fire was a cracker and so was the food..I'm not sure what happened to the marshmallows but the was marvelous...Iots of conversations were had even a bit of caching..The Bloody weather didn't behave but it didn't Dampen our get together. (RH what happened to that chocolate damper?) Thanks Crack'n'LeeLee for a super weekend...LeeLee we had to take a literal rain check on the yaking but no doubt there will be plenty more get togethers. Thanks for an awesome weekend...

We will be camping Fri and Sat night. The weather looks to be shaping up for a nice weekend. We will have our caravan. If anyone is swaging/tent etc, we have cooking gear, kettle, cooking plate for the fire, which we are happy to share so you don't have to pack all the gear. Last we saw it was $5 per night for unpowered, $15 power. Honesty box system. New toilets and shower block. For the lunch event....we will be putting on a sausage sizzle (meat). BYO any dietary requirements. Looking forward to it Smile
