Attended with the gorgeous Snap Happy - please note, he uploaded the photos with his log that includes our caching names on the bag of rubbish we took whilst we were part way through filling.Although the area looked okay, when you walked by the bank of the creek and in the shrubs/ trees, it was a completely different story - such a lot of litter!!!Thanks ADI for hosting this CITO
Today's logbook is a virtual one..Add a photo of your surroundings and/or trash collected today, to your online log ????
15 September 2024 @ 11:22amCaching buddy:MummacarolPopped into help with the clean up.Thank you AlphaDeltaIndigo for placing and maintaining this cache. I've enjoyed finding it.Tftc??
Thanks for arranging Adi. Great to meet you and the other helpers. Was certainly plenty to pick up.
My grabber hand is tired after a full 2hrs of picking up trash. Glad to know that all of that was taken out of our waterways.
15 September 2024 12:48 pmCaching buddy: Yin~YangFirst CITO for me - nice weather for it! Pretty part of our western suburbs...Was lovely to see AlphaDeltaIndigo again ?? xThank you AlphaDeltaIndigo for placing and maintaining this cache. I've enjoyed finding it. Tftc ??
Great initiative here as the waterway (Stony Creek) was pretty clogged with rubbish. But there's the conundrum; would you prefer lots of rubbish to pick up so you're left feeling satisfied and rewarded, or empty and unfulfilled because there was no rubbish at all? Hmmm.Either way it was a very successful clean-up by the Friends of Stony Creek aided by the merry band of geocachers. Thanks to AlphaDeltaIndigo for organising this CITO, and for making sure the weather behaved.Cache on ??
There was plenty to do at GZ, so armed with large bags and tongs, Muggle Husband and I attacked the papers, bottles, needles and other rubbish spread along the creek. Quite a few geocachers joined the Friends of the Creek for the cleanup, and at the end you could see the difference. Many thanks to Adi for organising this event.
A great spot to have a CITO with Friends of Stony Creek. As LTEC said, it's rewarding to collect so much rubbish, but we don't want it there to begin with. Either way, we all made a huge difference. Thanks AlphaDeltaIndigo for creating for us all to enjoy. Look forward to the next one. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Wow! I attended this CITO today and was pleased to see the number of attendees. With everyone's help, it was clear that a significant difference was made here. Thanks AlphaDeltaIndigo for organising and thus allowing us to have a positive outcome on the area.
A few of us managed to make a difference here at this lovely creek. Couldnt get over how many syringes there were! Thanks for organising and hosting this event, AlphaDeltaIndigo ??
Pleased to be able to lend a hand here today. Great to see geocaching well represented. Thanks for organising this CITO.
Spring Victorian Incursion 2024.Day Sixteen: Last Day in MelbourneWeather: much better today, perfect for CITOs and geocaching. Who took this photo? Both OzHockeyChick and I had picked up a stack of rubbish and its mostly cropped out of frame. This was an interesting CITO with a chance to chat with some of the friends of the creek - not only were they super grateful for the extra help, but very curious about geocaching too. My unusual finds included a parking ticket (very durable material) a CD (title illegible) and two golf balls that will get to be recycled as practise balls by one of the organisers. Thanks for organising this CITO AlphaDeltaIndigo.
Great day to be out, looking after our local park and meeting new friends! Lovely to meet you AlphaDeltaIndigo, thanks for organising it!

So happy to see so many people out today to clean up Stony Creek with the local friends group. Put in an hour teaming up with BlackOpal2005 and packed full a bag of rubbish. Thanks for co-ordinating this opportunity AlphaDeltaIndigo.
**Attended by Snap Happy** Attended with GoodLook.Great to see so many people lending the local Friends of Stony Creek a hand to collect rubbish.I enjoy each and every cache I find, and it is only with Geocachers like this creating them and placing them out in the world that this wonderful game continues. (Oh and thanks for the souvenir) - PCache on! **#19257**
