Today was a day of chores. There seems to be so much ti get done before my next trip away. In between activities I took a short drive over to Latham to check out this cache. I have not been on this slope before, and found myself at the wrong rock formation at first. With the potential for wriggly sticks here being quite high I was very careful with what I moved and was happy that the second rock pile held the cache I was searching for. Thanks for the cache C10A49761.1 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & Townsville Mascots A#483**Albida**

Found during a short visit to the North of Canberra today. I was in the area and decided to add to today's tally of caches. This turned out to be a nice nearly drive-by find. The retrieval was carefully done and I soon had log in hand. Signed the log, replaced the cache as found, then headed off to the next one. Thanks C10A !!

#21061 - 3:47:07 PM; My old caching buddy Sol de lune was in town for a couple of days, so we decided to head out and collect a few caches which might require a ToTT or an extra set of eyes. All up we managed 10 from 10, including this one at our last stop. The GPSr was wandering around a bit, but the hint eventually led us to the right spot to retrieve the cache and sign the log. The cache was then returned as found afterwards as we wrapped up our mission. TFTC C10A Smile

[FTF] with the team!Gorgeous location in the beautiful warmth of GZ overlooking the greenery below. Amazing what the daylight reveals which is a beautiful flat boulder not far away perfect for a cache hide. Given the lay of the land ie: steep-ish slope, it would have been really tricky to spot in the dark. With a team of eyes it was a quick find. TFTC C10A.

Yabba Dabba Doo *FTF* with a group Big Grin When SC, mb and SA were keen to give this another go during daylight, I could not resist to join them, with a lot more pairs of eyes and the sun pretty straight above, the cache didn't hide for too long. About 32m from the published coordinates. I am still gald we didn't persue this any further last night. During the day this was a very pretty spot actully last night the area looked much less inviting. Ahh I am looking forward to longer days. Thank you C10A for putting the cache out, maintaining it and contributing to this great hobby we have. Happy trails, Flintstone's

Ooh, another new cache published tonight, in the suburb next door ... maybe I can get a second first, in the same evening? So *grabs wallet and keys and heads off for another short drive* Smile... Nope ... maybe not ... the map and my GPS both put me at the edge of the road, and the only "rock formation within about 20m is someones front garden on the other side of the road, and a very UN natural looking Rocky McRockface - the retaining wall at the sides of the path ... and surely if a D1 level cache was here, I would be able to find it? I did find a "likely looking" large boulder down the hill a bit, but I didn't find anything tucked under there either ... I might have another look, because I don't like not finding caches, especially when they have not been found yet, but this GZ just doesn't seem, to me, that it matches the description ...

Saw the notification late when I came to the area just now I found AKM here, who had been searching already for half an hour. It looks like the description of the cache is describing things that aren't anything near what can be found at the listed coordinates. Hence I didn't gave it long as I suspect the coordinates are wrong in this case. Maybe they're just meant to be coordinates for the trail head? will be back once this has been sorted out to find another cache in this nice park.
