After replenishing ourselves at the nearby cafe we embarked on finding this one. The hardest part was finding a park and despite a couple of nearby muggles enjoying the sun, we were able to make the find quickly. Found with Spoonz2
Parking for this one is a bit tricky, so we went elsewhere and found another one first so that we were going in the right direction on the way back. A short walk later the cache was located and signed. Then on the way back up the hill we discussed the amount of exercise todays finds had required! Found with Debsnz. Thanks Wilbywarrior.
Just ran out of time to do all the great caching in Dunedin.Woke up to another fabulous sunny day. Day 8 and running around tidying up wants and needs. Back to Kittykatch and Grimraider. Finally back in NZ and this time for a Mega. Starting in Christchurch before heading south. Lots to see and do with Kittykatch and Grimraider. Will be joining with others as the days go on.Thanks for getting me out and about Wilbywarrior
Dunedin MegaOut caching with GrimRaider and Joolay. GrimRaider, Joolay and I are in NZ for the Dunedin mega event. It is great to be back to see more of this beautiful country. Thanks for hiding this cache Wilbywarrior
Took the opportunity to continue with Octagon letterboxes when I happened to be in the vicinity. This was one of them. Logs signed B/L and TFTC Wilbywarrior
Today's task was to find some, if not all, of the Octagon series of letterbox caches plus any other caches near to my planned route that took my fancy. I had some help with this puzzle ! DOH. Now why didn't I notice that? [B)]A quick signing. TFTC
Found while up for the megaFound with Southern Raiders team thank for the cache Wilbywarrior
This is day five of my Dunedin Mega trip (and my last day), the first time I've ever been here before (never mind geocaching). Obviously with such a plethora of caches to find there's going to be plenty I'll skip but I hope to find my targets.Unfortunately logging is going to be generic, but thank you to all the cache owners and event organisers for the things you do.Today is for milling around, picking up some remaining target caches and generally sight seeing now that the rain has finally left. Back on track after a DNF.All good here, and thank you to Wilbywarrior for the placement of your Letterbox Hybrid.Find #7359 at 28 October 2024 9:50am

Day 3 of my whirlwind visit to New Zealand.Today I teamed up with barb2e, SmittenGranny, Joolay, Kittykatch, GrimRaider and Icybeetas. We signed the caches as ACD (Australian Cachers in Dunedin) and went out on the Otago Peninsula. We had done a lot of puzzle solving in the months up to the GeoToroa Mega.Today's weather was variable and not as wet as yesterday. The others had found this one a couple of days ago, so today, it was just me who signed the log. TFTC
Here in the land of the king white cloud to attend the mega in Dunedin. Many thanks to all those involved in the organisation! Today we targeted some of the DT puzzles plus a few unusual caches as extras. Much better weather and some scary roads . Travelling and caching as a group Qld+1. Cheers
This one took me an embarrassingly long time to solve!! And that's all I am going to say. It's embarrassing enough as it is. That, of course, was before the mega. I came down with a bunch of friends and spent most of the time with them, but today I split off and spent time with Haydn.seek and Lions v Lambs. Finding was much faster than solving!
Down in Dunedin for the Mega. Great to be back for another Mega 12 years after NZ's first Mega here in 2012. Finding a few caches with Boxhill and having a few laughs on the way. Today signing some logs as Team BOGO or our individual names. Thanks to the team for putting on a great Mega weekend, and also to all the COs for placing and maintaining the caches.TFTC Wilbywarrior

Late arrival into town this afternoon with Smittengranny meant a quick dash to the event at Signal Hill then a need to find this letterbox after the sun had disappeared. Luckily the cache hadn't disappeared and was found and signed without too much difficulty. We did finally make it into our accommodation and get some much earned rest. Tftc
Despite being incredibly tired I was not going to our motel without finding this Letterbox that we had solved before crossing the ditch. Luckily barb2e had her wits about her and soon the cache was found and signed. TFTC Wilbywarrior SL
The interesting puzzle was soon solved, and the cache was a quick easy find. TFTC
I can't really say that I 'solved' this cache, but I definitely found it. Great little hiding spot, and glad to get one on the board for this series. Tftc!
So, the Thursday I have been waiting for to collect four hybrid caches to qualify for your [Challenge Caches](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GCA2R3H_take-your-stamp-thursday-challenge-otago) happened to be possibly the worst Thursday weather-wise we've had all year! Ha! Seriously, what luck! Anywho... out we went. Gumboots and all. I have learned something about myself today, I absolutely cannot cope with wet sleeves and dirty hands!!! I won't say how long I spent on this one before getting the green tick. Lol. This was #3 of 4 today, thankfully not too difficult and not many people out and about!
