Logs
Went out to do a bit of caching today with ilook4geo but the most important thing we were looking for was shade, as it was a very hot day. This one was thankfully a quick and easy find, so the log was signed and we went back to the air conditioned car. Actually we have not seen a container quite like this one before and it just looks so right for the situation. FP added for showing us something different. Thanks for the cache placement.
We wanted to make quick finds today, together with goingplaces2, due to the extreme heat. This one took a little longer to recognise but the co-ords are good and that gave us the confidence to explore what was there. Signing was done and we moved on. TFTC.
This clever cache was found in the dark with gmj3191 and others, after the awards event. Thanks for adding to the enjoyment of the evening.
Managed to find this one after attending the nearby event. Looks like a popular cache today.

wow... we dismissed that twice before deciding to inspect closer, very clever. Thank for thr cache, FP added
What a clever cache and apparently the COs first certainly set the bar high on this one! A definite FP!Thank you Nel&Andy for placing this game piece here, contributing to this great game for myself and others to enjoy. Happy trails!
What a ripper cache, I was lucky enough to make this find on my way to a nearby event. Fantastic construction, a favourite from me.Thanks for the cache Nel&Andy.
Getting this one after the event, looking in the wrong place and was quickly corrected by some passing geocachers. Tftc!
Thanks to Nel&Andy for this nice cache that we found on our way back to our car after the Geocaching Victoria event. Signed by torch light.
Found while attending the nearby event. One of the best constructed of this type of cache. Found quickly. A favourite for the way it was constructed. TFTC
After the cache of the year awards night, I followed a group of cachers to this cache where the well crafted cache was found. What a great camouflage job. This one gets a favourite from me.Thanks to Nel&Andy for a great cache.
Find #8,925 for me, on 16 Nov 2024 9:05pm. The weather was ??? Broken Clouds ???26C ??20% ???1 m/s . After lteaving the event to head home, we diverted in the carpark to find this one before leaving. As we approached there were a couple of groups of cachers who had found the cache, but were standing around talking before leaving the area. Using my torch, as it was now dark, I spotted an object, which turned out to be a beautifully crafted and disguised cache. After I oprned the cache the log was found to be full, but suddenly.. Zap! Kapow! The CO materialised with a replacement log in a dazzling piece of proactive maintenance. What a spectacular way to start a CO career! A great first cache which could figure in the voting next year.Gets a fav point from me. With our names in the log, PamJ and I said our farewells and headed home. Thanks Nel&Andy for your contribution to the game. *Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*

After attending the COTY awards and GVI's 10th Birthday celebration at the bowling club, I sought out some nearby caches before heading home. A group of cachers were at GZ already, and the very clever and well constructed cache was soon held aloft in triumph. All in good dry condition. TFTC ?? A favourite from me ??
Found this with a group after the fabulous 2023 Victorian Cache of the Year Awards & Birthday event. A great hide, well done!
*Found on the 16 Nov 2024 @ 9:19pm.**Cache find # 16056.* Once the awards night event was done and dusted, a number of us headed off for a short stroll around the area to find a few caches. This was the first we headed over to as it was just outside the venue for the event, I was a little late getting to the party so when I arrived, it had just been found.Very nice for a first hide my this one will be up for the 2024 awards for best first hide. **Thanks to Nel&Andy for keeping the game going by placing this cache.**
Found by Mary and David at 16:45. We arrived at the car park, and knew what all those cachers were up to. A FP for the clever construction. Our thanks to Nel&Andy.
As we drove into the carpark, we spotted maccamob in focus mode, so we rolled down the window and did the ol ello ello ello routine and were able to sign the log in the easiest of fashions!
We got to the COTY Awards being held close-by a bit early with the excuse that this new hide was recently placed. Seems like a few others had the same thought!Loved the ingenuity of the hide; a muggle wouldn't look twice at the camo. FP for very good work for a first hide. Thanks Nel&Andy. Cache on ??
21:00Whilst attending the 2023 Victorian Cache of the Year Awards & Birthday Event, how could we not stop to see what the crowd had gathered around. Then, having found out, how could we not log a find and award a FP for what is a really fantastic first placement - so well done. Our thanks to 'Nel&Andy' for adding this cache to the geo-gameboard.38206*This log composed and published using Geocaching Swiss Army Knife (GSAK).*
In the area for the COTY 2023 awards and to celebrate GVI's 10th Anniversary bunadoorian and I came here to find this cache. Congratulations on your first hide Nel&Andy. A clever hide. TFTC and for bringing us here.
I was attending the "2023 Victorian Cache of the Year Awards & Birthday" event and arrived at the entrance of the carpark to see a group of people loitering around. They weren't dressed in bowling attire so they obviously were geocachers.I had to do a few circuits of the carpark before finding a vacant spot and by this time the crowd at GZ had moved on so I was able to do a solo search. The container was quickly located and after signing the log I was able to join my friends for an enjoyable evening.Thank you Nel&Andy for this well constructed cache.
Out and about today on the weekend heading towards the Victorian caching awards dinner and left myself plenty of time so stopped by a few caches on the way and this was one of them.Met up with Sims family again here and this was very nicely constructed and joined together. A favourite from me.Thanks Nel&Andy for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.
I was on my way to the cache of the year awards dinner across the road and deliberately left home early so I time to grab the nearby caches on the way. I was lucky to grab a convenient park when I arrived and wondered over to start my looking. I looked at something that didn't prove fruitful to start with when Riddell came over to give me some cheek. Second spot I looked was on the money. A nice hide indeed. A variation on hide found many times but a I really enjoyed this one.I had just signed the log and put it all away when spiffy- came in for histurn to hunt down the prize.A favourite point from me Thank you Nel&Andy for the quality hide
On our way into the COTY Awards event we couldnt avoid looking for this cache. The youngest cacher at hand found this cache. Thanks for your sharp eyes Charlotte from Lyons Pride 3 to help us with older eyes. Ingenious hide here!
As many others did tonight, we found this on the way in to the Cache of the Year awards. What a nicely made cache - particularly for a first hide too!! Favourite point from us.
21:43It would have been silly to leave the Bowls Club after the Geocaching Awards without checking this hide out.Nice one, Nel&Andy. A neat camo that fits its location perfectly. Great first hide.#9347
What an evening - 10th geocaching birthday celebrations and cache of the year and a great chat with these lovely COs!now on to find a geocache...in the darkness of night, a group spilled out from the event and we made our way here to find a well planned and executed geocache... and then the domino effect of laughter spread across the whole car park, as the question was asked who had a pen?! well I had a nice 3D printed one that seemed to have heat stroke and wouldn't work, OSHFAM was too busy trying to juggle her mountain of trophies and then everyone else just started to laugh... the laughter was so loud, MisterDoctor came over to ask what the disturbance to the neighbours was, hahaha.. more laughs - luckily the milestone event was over... else I am not sure we would have been admitted to the prestigious group of geocachers without a pen???thanks Nel&Andy for this funny end to the evening.
On my way to the Awards Night, this cache was on my "must-do" list. Luckily, I didn't need to ask for a special stop, and what a great cache we found. We came, and we (well, the royal 'we' plus the Duke) made haste to set up the event before wandering out in the hot, blustery wind to seek this cache. Thank you Nel&Andy, fantastic hide ??
After a fabulous time at the **2023 Victorian Cache of the Year Awards & Birthday**, after a wander in the dark with the **veevers12** crew to look for a couple of nearby caches, I returned for this one... and didn't even get finished before the next lot of party goers arrived to record their visit! Thanks **Nel&Andy** for an excellent first cache.
Grub62 and I were at a nearby event and I thought that this cache was too close to ignore. A favourite point for a very inventive hide. Thanks for the entertainment and TFTC.
Very nifty little cache, love these ones that are hidden in every day objects, hidden in clear sight!
Seems to be a popular spot this afternoon :p Well crafted cache you will find here. Thanks for placing
When we got there a fellow cacher already had the CIH so we just put it back. Our final stop on our trip to the cache of the year award. TFTC find 399 thanks Nel&Andy
First time visiting this park today with my wife and daughter, took the opportunity to find the local caches. This one did not disappoint with its superb construction, tftc!

Upon arrival at GZ I had a fair idea what I was searching for. Luckily I was correct. This is a very good example of an urban cache in plain sight.Quite a nifty cache for a first attempt. Why did you wait so long to drop your first?? Haha.
Sorry for the late log.Found on a quick caching run around my local area with Robmc.TFTC!
With Daylight Saving in place Day1976 and I went out to grab a few local caches.Quite a hide for your first, be interested to see what comes next. Thanks, Robmc.
Found by caughtatwork on 06/10/2024 at 2:26:00 PMA quick find and a great cache design.Took nothing, left nothing. Thanks for placing this geocache here for us to find today, for without those who like to hide geocaches, there would be nothing around for those who like to find geocaches.*Overall Experience: 3*GAFF1

I set out this morning with a big list of caches that I planned to visit. Things did not go to plan, but I did manage to find this cache before public transport problems and heavy rain mucked up the day. This is a very nicely engineered cache in a lovely area. It was very pleasant walking from the station to GZ through the back streets of Yarraville.

TFTC! 30 September 2024 8:00:00PM 8560 thanks to Nel&Andy for the cache! {FTF}Saw this one get published earlier today but with peak hour traffic gave it a miss, out in the city later on, and swung by and gave it a go, eventually found it and a blank log as well.
First to log, second to find. QueenAnt beat me to it.A very well hidden find, had my sister and I fooled for quite some time. We definetly looked very suspicious rummaging around in the bushes in the dark. What a great first hide, deserves a favourite point. Keep it up TFTCduck0707 and AM
