Logs
Coffee and cake. Just the thing to get the day started. Thanks for attending. Next stop is 200,000 cache hides in Australia. This particular geocache event was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owners for placing this cache here for our enjoyment.Freddo would like to show my respect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their continuing connection to it. I wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I Come visit the worlds longest running annual geocaching event - keep the June long weekend free.Blockheads of the world unite in 2025
Attached is a chart showing the road to 100,000 from mid June. Back then the predicted date was early November. A massive September got the total to 100,000 in early October. Since then the total has hit a plateau.
Only managed to stop in for 20 minutes but great to celebrate the big milestone for Australia. Thanks
An event at a sensible time? To celebrate something that was actually achieved? Owl was in! Nice company and good chats were had. Thanks for organising it.
Stopped by between errands, stayed longer than should've... lolThanks for the cake and chats..Would be interesting to know how many of the 100176 (at 10am) are owned by those attending today? TFTE
We may have missed the actual moment, but what a milestone and certainly worth celebrating. An impressive turn up for it too with an overflow table needed. Nice to see some of the gang that dont generally get to weekday breakfasts. Thanks for organising this event Freddo The Chocolate Frog.
Came for a quick coffee but stayed awhile. Great coffee actually and lots of geocachers today, not all talk about geocaching though. TFT event freddo and the freebie caches!
A great reason for an event and it was good to see so many familiar faces here at a very reasonable time of day. Enjoyed a coffee and a piece of cake while chatting, as you do.Thanks for the event and th yummy cake Freddo.
I attended this event to celebrate just over 100,000 active caches in Australia. Indulged in some cake to celebrate, while socialising with some new and old fellow geocachers. Thanks to all those who ventured out here to mark this day, a special thanks to Freddo aka Monty, for organising & hosting this event - an extra thanks for extra serving of the cake!
Tnx Freddo for the nice event. Met new faces and old. Great conversations had, as well as a bit of cake.TFTE SL
A great venue with a lovely bunch of people. Nice relaxing morning, up at a sensible hour. After the event we had a nice walk round to catch a few caches too. Thanks Freddo for adding to our finds.
Assuming I wake up early enough and make it Adelaide with time to spare I may pop in and say hi for a few minutes.
Assuming I can fix some vehicle issues (got to stop letting Bindi the Staffy drive) I should make it!! and of course CP will be there!!
OopsLogged attendance with reviewer name.Assuming I can fix geo mobile I'll be there
looks like i am getting kicked out the house for the day since mogni is marking, so i should be able to make this event.
