An early start to meet lots of Aussies. In fact there were more West Islanders present than South Islanders.Nice chatting to you all and the sunny coast block party sounds very tempting.
It was a mad dash this morning to this event. I had a little extra sleep in the alarm went off but the little man in the phone did not wake me, lol, so I almost missed the event. It was nice to see people early at the event and wanting to hear about our adventures. It was interesting to hear about others and there caching stories. A nice place and a nice event, but we are not here to chat so the first cache was around the corner and the seal has been broken. Thanks for the event, I enjoyed my time there.

I arrived super early on my way to work and had a good chat to the caf people about geocaching. Had to leave shortly after the arrival of the organisers unfortunately to get organised for the day. Thank you for putting on the event at such a handy location!

I set my alarm for 6:44. It's still very early for me but I was not going to over do it and actually arrive at the set event start time.So I think it was about 7:30 when I arrived. The food in the cabinet did look really good on my way in and I contemplated getting something for a second there but didn't in the end. What's the point of spending money on food if you are not even hungry 
I was still early for work even after the even wrapped up. Normally I would only be having my alarm at the time of event finishing But the things we do fir geocaching.... And I will admit, it is nice to have early mornings, occasionally. With the condition that you went to bed early enough the night before.Nice to see you anyway, and will meet again soon! Also good to see that Beat Street is going well, and might come here for breakfast at some point again. Last time I'd been here was probably 5+years ago.My finds in the last two weeks have literally just been events Kia ora! Paldies! Thanks for the cache, Bluewattle!#11418

I should be able to attend and note the cafe is still open but under new management. The Press article was about the previous owner
