this was the 2nd find in the Glebe area before having to catch the express train to the office or a 5.30 pm meeting (on a Friday, of course). A nice quick find at GZ, and then I was on my way to to the L1 light rail station.
A quick find in an interesting spot and lots of homeless within 200m under rail bridge sadly. tftc
Lots of road works around here, but still easy to access. Arrived GZ and found pretty quickly TFTC
Stage 1 of our trip is Sydney to visit Sal. Thanks to all the COs for placing and maintaining caches for us to find. Day 1. Walked from Maroubra around the Malabar headland. Day 2. We wandered around Centennial Park in the morning then headed to the QVB in the afternoon for a bit of shopping (and of course geocaching!). Day 3. Met friends for lunch in Glebe then wandered along the water front. What a great row of fig trees.
Working on numbers as I approach my next milestone (with a specific cache and rough date in mind), spending a week of the school holidays with my nephew T-rex 11, the Glebe area provided some newish caches to add a few smileys. This one also gave a close-up view of the new Fish Market construction. Going to be huge!
Spending a week of the school holidays with my aunt mizmaz, we had to include some caching. Checked a few trees before rechecking the first one for the find.
There are some new-ish geocaches in the inner west, and so Ms Atalanta and I decided to visit them and combine it with, in this case, our morning walk. This is an example, close to the new Fish Markets, currently under construction.TFTC.
Decided to chase the CO's latest city offerings by public transport - bus and lightrail - this morning. After a bus to Kingsford Juniors to jump on the light rail to the city for another light rail to Wentworth Park to grab the first cache before walking to Glebe light rail station to catch the light rail to Jubilee Park and the second cache. Alighted the light rail at Wentworth Park and took a few minutes to get the directions to gz. Once gz it was a quick find with the generous hint. It looks like the new fish market is going to be something else when completed. Cache is in good condition. SLRC as found. TFTC

When the showers cleared this morning I decided to take a public transport trip out to Wentworth Park. I used 3 forms of public transport and decided to forget about the 4th, the bus and walk the last leg on the homeward journey. Once an hour service - not good enough Transport NSW.I'd actually never been to Wentworth Park until I started geocaching. Now I've been here many times!I have been to a circus though. I really enjoyed the skills they performed.The new Fish Market is certainly taking shape. How will that work though with the Light Rail station called Fish Market quite a long way off. The new version isn't really near any station. TFTC # 6234
We found another thing that looked like concrete with some random paper in a plastic bag, but that wasnt it - LeoFirst of the day after dropping O at some baking thing thank you
Last time I was here, the new fish markets were just a bunch of pylons in the water. Today, it's almost completed. It'll be nice to see it when it's done. Cache was quickly found and signed. Thanks!
With the rain easing, I decided to do a senior's day tour to grab a couple of new caches. Alighting at Wentworth Park light rail station, I wandered over to GZ past the homeless living under the arches. Once I had the right tree, it was a quick find. Another interesting tale by the CO. TFTC
Lunchtime cycle intended to make two quick finds turn into two finds and a nice lunch with Brewmaker. Made a quick find on A Day At The Races then over to this one where I made the find and noticed Brewmaker had also signed the log today. Thinking we may have crossed paths, I cycled back to A Day At The Races where I found Brewmaker signing the log. Had a good chat and we decided fish n chips at the nearby Tramsheds would make for a nice lunchtime meal.What a great afternoon. TFTC alnic39 #2949
