Congratulations to **Deep_99** who was our **Official FTF**.The answer to the puzzle was indeed 46.See you at CCC#66 coming soon. ??
Another good turn up although a few familiar faces away so leading to theories on Sock Puppet accounts but no mention of Mando. Some good stories and geochat. TFTC
This was our monthly outing to the Galston Club for supper and an event. There was a good turn-out of the usual cachers. I suspect some puzzles were solved by the serious cachers, though a lot of socialising was also going on. While I didn't attend to any puzzles, I did sign off on a challenge that I qualified for a while back. The actual cache has been archived, but the CO graciously brought me the log book to sign. Nice to pick that one up. Done and dusted. Looking forward to the next CCC event. Thanks for organising these regular get-togethers.
Another excellent CCC event, These events are always great. I haven't been to CCC's for quite a while due to working Monday nights, However, my students (and myself) are in the exam period, so I had some time to come out to Galston for the November installment of CCC. It was great to see everyone again, and while I myself didn't solve anything, I did help 4 people (I think) solve a GHHH puzzle, which I found easy considering the CO's history of difficult puzzles. some great geo chat was had and now I've realised that i actually will be able to make the December event, I must have got the date confused with another event. I retrieved 6 trackables to take to Vietnam, and C62 provided me with the GC code for a HQ archived, but unlocked Spindoc bob virtual cache I should absolutely try and do while in Hanoi, If I'm able to do this, I'm sure I'll have a great story for the next CCC. Thanks for Hosting C62, see you at the next CCC if not earlier
Another evening of fun and interesting chat. What else can I write? Should I write anything? Does anyone read this stuff? Thanks, gavingo4 for the tip on that cache - it worked, solved it!Sorry Frazelle and ash_kate I didn't think you were really going to persist and get another toy from that machine! Ah well, next time. I even had part of a coat hanger in the boot too, as well as the yellow tongue.(Will there be a sign that someone has read this?)TFTE # 6317
Thanks C62 for hosting another fabulous CCC event. I hadn't known about this one until BeautifulSky13 asked if I was going. Well I may as well now! Had a great chat with a few of the regulars. Solved a puzzle and shared some insight with one of mine. Some funny stories passed around. Thanks !!!
A great night had for sure. If anyone had seen C62 with a hand saw and 1 meter pvc pipe in the carpark, Im sure they would have been completely flummoxed and highly suspicious of geocaching activities. ??Looks like Im also the pseudo secretary for [@ozbuckeye](https://coord.info/PRDVGKR)'s calendar. ?? Always good locking minds with like minded puzzle solvers and creators. Until the next one.
Arrived there early with ilook4geo and got some tech help from the CO. Thank you. The cachers then started rolling in and a normal size group formed. Had lots of geo chat. Seems the claw machine likes to create some fun, but always after we leave. Thanks go to Calypso62 for another successful event. Hope all goes well for the series in 2025.
Happy to get to this event and hear of various adventures as well as plans for the future. Great to be able to catch up with others on a regular basis. Thanks for hosting go to Calypso62.
It was great to be able to Attend CCC#65, after having missed the last 2. Found a few caches on the way with Brewmaker. Had the steak special and a refreshing ale. Another good night out. TFTE Calypso62
#7794Thought I should make an effort seeing that I had missed the last 2 CCC events. Always good to catch up and get the latest GC gossip. As per usual, zero puzzles solved. Thanks for hosting C62
My last CCC event for the year. Won't be back until the February event but will see everyone at the GeoQuest Block Party. TFTE Calypso, I love coming to the Club once a month for a catch up, even if we forget to solve some conundrums. Can't believe I signed Deep_99 in first allowing him to get the FTF!SL #5527
Attended with RIS768 & managed to grab a first to find {FTF}thank you Calypso62 Log 3399
Another great night with friends, lots of laughs and another toy getting stuck in the claw machine. Luckily this time, we made tott to extract the goods. Thanks so much for your help Judy, we waited for you to come back, then realised you'd abandoned us in our time of need. I thought we were friends. Anyway, have a great trip Bruce, and don't forget at 9.26am Tuesday 5th November, it's time to get excited. Much love, Leo ??
Another fun night as usual. Ended up playing the claw machine. And once again, the toy was stuck again. Thankfully, Judy was still around, so I was hoping we could borrow TOTT. But alas, she left us alone and waiting. Thankfully, we were able to make our own and retrieve Leo. Have a great trip, Bruce.
It's been a few months since I have been to CCC, so it was good to attend one again. It was another enjoyable gathering, and I did manage to solve 2 puzzles. Lots of fun conversation. TFTE
First CCC! Due to my FOMO on these events, Ive decided to take some time to walk up to the club.
I asked chat gpt to create a will attend log for this event, but it kept spitting out some really cringey rubbish, so here is my log:I should be able to make it. I also will retrieve as many trackables as I can to take overseas (so don't forget to bring some)
Will I? Won't I? Will I? Won't I? I have missed the last couple of CCCs, so I better make an effort to get to this one.
It feels like just yesterday I was at one of these events. We will see you there.
This will be my last CCC event for the year as Deep_99 and I will be off travelling and wont be back until the Sydney block party.
