Frogs and Fish and Nature,Found in a nifty spot in a nifty area in nifty container. Nifty.
I found this cache today on my tour of Heathmont, Croydon and Ringwood. We had found 1,000 multicache finds just before we reached 10 years in geocaching. Since then, the rate has slowed because the number being placed has decreased rapidly, so in the following 11 years, we have added less than 400 to the total. That said, this one was nice to do as it reminded us of the multis that used to be placed - 1 extra waypoint, minimal maths, short distance away. Enjoyed the stroll in the cool morning. Interesting that with so many finds along this trail, we have never found one here before. Thanks from D B-A
This was a great little multi. I don't mind multi-stages, but it's also nice to have these one-steps. After figuring out which side of the creek I was meant to be on it was a quick find of a nice container and hide at GZ.
This is a neat little cache after a pleasant stroll. It also fills in a gap on my Date Hidden calendar. Thanks for the cache, ahomburg
Find number 14568 at 12:53:42pm on Monday the 4 November 2024Well, here I am, finally back from our travels to way out west and I'm chasing multi's to finally bump my numbers into the diamond badge level, close but not quite yet.A nice quick solve and find on this beautiful day for geocaching Nice container **Thanks for placing this cache ahomburg**---*WOW, so much happening at home in Victoria*Dont forget to log your will attend for Victorias first ever Block Party in March 2025, the [**The Sunbury Event**](https://coord.info/GCAP417).Theres also all those lists of amazing geocaches at [Geocaching Victorias List webpage]( https://geocachingvictoria.com.au/information/great-caching-lists), go check them out.
With having caught a bit of a bug I have been out of commission for the last few days and so I haven't been able to enjoy any of the long holiday weekend or the beautiful weather we have had lately. However, today I woke up almost feeling back to normal and so I decided that I would try and get out to enjoy at least a bit of sun. Well what better way to enjoy a bit of sunshine, then to find a cache or two. With needing to find a multi cache today in order to fill in a missing calendar date for [RoamingHowie's](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=24963346-56c5-4daf-8308-a01f60f5a5ba&wid=6a725450-9b6f-4892-abca-126a7026759c&ds=2) challenge cache, [WCW - 95% Multi Calendar Challenge (GC9Z59M)](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC9Z59M), I had a look around on [Cachly](https://www.cachly.com/) for what nearby multi caches were around when I spotted this fairly newly hidden one!Since I am newly recovered, I figured a fairly easy multi cache close to home would probably be best, and so when I spotted this one, it seemed like the perfect target. So after lunch, I hopped in the geomobile and made my way to the [recommended parking coordinates](https://www.geocaching.com/seek/wpt.aspx?WID=44d8b26a-dac4-4aeb-b83b-1c8cf2cf6ef1&RefID=0c3b1271-4584-4cc1-972b-854415568652&RefDS=1).After that I continued on over to the posted coordinates on foot. With not being able to get outside the last few days, it felt amazing to just be out in the warm sunny weather. The short walk through nature in the fresh air was just what I needed today. Once I arrived at the posted coordinates, I was able to quickly find the sign and obtain the needed information to calculate the coordinates for GZ. I then took a seat nearby and work out the maths before heading off on the short walk over to GZ.Luckily, I spotted a little trail that lead me on the path of least resistance straight to GZ. Once I arrived at GZ, it turned out to be a nice quick search before the cache was in hand and the logbook solved.I have been really enjoying these short little multi caches. I think so many COs are nervous to hide multi caches and so many cachers tend to just skip over them, but I think these fun short little multis are great and hopefuly will encourage others to hide and find more of them. A big thanks goes to [ahomburg](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=1ded3729-fe62-40bb-9f5f-fd559e7163b1&wid=0c3b1271-4584-4cc1-972b-854415568652&ds=2) for this short fun multi. TFTC.**Cache Maintenance Status:**The sign at the posted coordinates was in great shape and the text was very legible. The cache container at GZ was also in great shape and the logbook was clean and dry with plenty of room for future cache finders to sign.
Out and about with omegaman, there are always plenty of laughs while we are turning caches into smiles. This is one of the caches found today. I had another appointment at Vic Rehab in Glenwaverly so I messaged Omegaman for a lunch time catch up and to grab a few of the new caches in the area. Thanks ahomburg for the cache.
Omegaman1971Support Your Local VillainLive - Laugh - LurkFirst To Find: 196Sidetracked Cache Finds: 141Happy Halloween! Managed to grab a few caches today before the ghosts and ghouls came knocking. After catching up with Rebel Acts, we tackled some nearby ones. Thanks, ahomburg, for the fun!
Out for a regular after work caching run with G&J of GJMMelb, we headed for this one which I had a pretty good idea where it should be after some "lazy caching". Not that it helped much as I lost my postit note and it was easier to just do it properly. I ended up parking at a different spot to G&J but soon caught up and we did the maths together. Yep that's were I thought looked like the right place so off we went and after a short search G located it. Logged and rehidden, I briefly toyed with the direct route back but decided it was too risky in work clothes so we took the slightly longer route safe route instead. TFTC
Frogs and Fish and Nature.A delightful stroll to stretch the legs this afternoon. Joggers jogging.Cyclists cycling.Numbers gathered.Coordinates calculated. Cache found.Log stamped.Magpies swooping.Baby Butcher bird rescued and relocated to Animal Emergency Service on my way home.An eventful adventure.
Great little wander in the aftermath of todays storms. The cache was found safe and dry, but another metre of water would have been a different story. Tftc
It was finally a really nice warm day so we headed out on the scooters for a ride along this lovely trail. Surprisingly with such good weather the trail was not that busy which was good for us. With 3 of us we could easily hide what we were doing as well. After a late lunch break we started heading towards home with a couple of cache stops of course on the way.A quick clue gathering, followed by a short walk and a nice easy find to finish the day. Thanks ahomburg for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.
Out and about with TanSaf and was pleased to see another cache pop up not too far away. We parked in a convenient park not to far away and wandered over the bridge and down to WP1 to gather the required information. After a quick calculation we headed off to GZ where we found a pretty cool cache nicely hidden. Thanks ahomberg for the cache.
Great to see a new multi close to home. Skylizard and I parked in the nearby parking area and took a pleasant stroll down to collect the required information. Coordinates quickly calculated and we headed off to collect. A relatively quick find a short distance away. TFTC ahomburg.
It's free public transport for seniors week, and I am making the most of it. I saw that this new multi had popped up on the map, and decided to give it a go. The coordinates were calculated easily and the cache was found where expected. I love a nice simple multi.

FTF after yesterdays hour and half search for nothing in the storm (the storm then got moved to a teacup, despite the COs kind and clear communication to all) it was nice to make the quick and almost uneventful find. TFTC
