A fantastic dinner after a brilliant couple of days in the area. Lovely venue and we had the added bonus of the company of a local prolific CO (aka Ronice88). Ripper night! Thanks for the event feathertop.
Second day with a Group of cachers who also collaborated on the puzzles. We had a most enjoyable two days in the area. Many thanks for all the caches. Signed as Vic1.
Of course Mary & David were there. We were certainly ready for more sustenance after D had a full and successful day out on the undulating cache trails. M and Hetty were equally active, and between them improved the Bright economy substantially. Great meals at The Star, and wonderful to see Ronice88 and Crustyvarmint there. Our thanks to feathertop for a great night to round off our Harrietville adventures.
Found today on day 2 of our Snomo and Flake series in company of maccamob, Muzza, Alansee, micaparamedic, McLookers, feathertop and ThePacman. A great way to finish off our 2 days hard at the cache with great friends and food. Thanks from D & HA B-A
I was heading to Harrietville, with some old mates, to spend a few days in the area, when I learned that there was an event being held at the Star Hotel. This was supposed to be a motorcycling trip, but some factors influenced our plans, and we only had three bikes, with the rest being in cars. How lucky was I to have timed our trip for the same period that another group of geocachers would be in town?I quickly made a booking for us at the Star, and we had an enjoyable evening, sharing with the group and, as a special bonus, Ronice came along to top the evening off. Thanks for hosting the event, Feathertop. It made for a memorable evening.
