This morning Granny and I had a plan to tackle the 4 caches along this beach area, one of which was a first to find multi cache. We were here yesterday but the huge rain down pours in the late afternoon turned us away. So we returned here today to tackle these caches. It was still overcast and ready to rain at any moment but we were determined today to get these caches. We parked up and began our walk, there lots of friendly people on the beach this morning. Our first cache was a tree fishing cache and we had the right tool for this one. The overcast conditions did make the retrieval a little hard and the loose loop took some playing to get it off as it was getting caught at spots. The second was an easier find and full of shells however there was no log book. Luckily, we had a spare book and it happens to be one for the Sunshine Coast Beach Party. These were two fun caches and we were glad to get these and enjoyed the walk, but these were just fill ins for us to get to the next cache, lol. Thanks for the caches. Just be aware at this location I was approached by an older man walking down the beach with no pants on and an erection. He approached me seeking sex, which was rejected. The matter has been reported to police. Possibly this is a problem in this area, as Council has put up signs regarding nudity on this beach. 1pm 12/11/24. Please keep kids away from this beach.
Oh my, that is most disturbing. Ill keep an eye on these few and if we have any more incidents I will consider archiving this series.
We visually found this but we dont have anything suiting to tree fishing currently.
FTF. 12:09:00 PM. Saw the notifications for some new caches in the area. Kept an eye on them and in the end we decided to go for a drive. Found our fishing pole and with our geo dog headed down the beach. A bit of a look before it was spotted. The wind made it interesting blowing the fishing pole around but in the end hooked the cache. Found a blank log and signed. Cache returned to where it was found. Thanks for the cache JDOutdoorsAUS.
