I was thinking that these regular weeding CITO Events were starting to die down with less frequent numbers, but today, it was a mighty group! The local Bushcare group were very thankful that I brought the army that I did, but it really so the generosity of everyones time that we should be thankful. We all mixed with the expert crew as we continued to ask which were the nasty weeds to pull, and which to leave in situ; knowledge that I dont think I will ever completely grasp and be confident on. As we took care of the large area, baby Cottontail wanted to plant trees, so we escaped with Chris down the track and added a few more native species in amongst the weeds.Great to see that we made such a difference, with weeds pulled, branches/trees sawed down, and more trees planted. Thanks all for attending!

Oh what a horrendous trip to this CITO, a few minutes under 2 hours for an Event just over town so arrived late. ????????????.I really needed this CITO so I preserved with the traffic. Next CITO I'll leave home at 4.30 am so I won't be late.Lots of progress has been made since we 1st started attending these Events and a different group of people but still some of the regulars. TFTCITO

A quick lesson in weed identification had me pulling out some lovely speckled ground cover which I would have once happily had in my garden but apparently they have a habit of taking over everything.

Over the last few events the numbers were lacking and I was thinking that these regular weeding CITO Events were starting to die down with less frequent numbers. But today it was back to the norm and a large group of attendees. The local Bushcare group had a definite plan for us today and were all set a task; mine was on the saw and cutting up the fallen trees. With a few new people onboard today the questions of if this is a weed or a plant was raised a few times but it is nice to have the expertise of the crew on hand to know which were the nasty weeds and which were to leave in If you are seeing this please check out, GCARTY0, see what is planned for October 2025. Have been counting down the numbers on a challenge. This is the last one for the month of November. Now only one more CITO/month to go.It is amazing how quickly the weeds grown. Today we were weeding the butterfly tree area. A few fallen trees also needed to be clearing. Good job chamad.TFTCITO Davidwazza

Another attendance here on Bank Street Reserve after a couple of weeks absence. I required a refresher and then it was down to work.Fabulously collecting CITO credits. Must contemplate a challenge to out do other current challenges.????
