I found this cache on an early start to a wet Saturday morning. For my second cache of the day, keeping my pad dry was extremely hard as I was trying to write on it. Got there and a nice sized cache at GZ. Thanks from D B-A
Find number 14674 at 10:58:06am on Wednesday the 27 November 2024Out to visit me doctor this morning, seems to occur more often asyou get older , well at least I get to go geocaching on the way home, hmmm, maybe I should find a doctor in South Morang, or Bacchus Marsh, or Vanuatu Anyway...Solved the GZ quickly and headed for another nearby multi to find out where that GZ was, should have gone there first Ahh well, I got two smilies and a little more exercise this way. Nice to see a large container again **Thanks for placing this cache ahomburg**---*WOW, so much happening at home in Victoria*Dont forget to log your will attend for Victorias first ever Block Party in March 2025, the [**The Sunbury Event**](https://coord.info/GCAP417).Theres also all those lists of amazing geocaches at [Geocaching Victorias List webpage]( https://geocachingvictoria.com.au/information/great-caching-lists), go check them out.
I needed to find a multi cache today in order to fill in a missing calendar date for [RoamingHowie's](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=24963346-56c5-4daf-8308-a01f60f5a5ba&wid=6a725450-9b6f-4892-abca-126a7026759c&ds=2) challenge cache, [WCW - 95% Multi Calendar Challenge (GC9Z59M)](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC9Z59M) and so after work I was having a perusal of [Cachly](https://www.cachly.com/) to see what possible multi caches I could target today when I spotted this relatively new one. So after work I hopped in the geomobile and made my way to the nearest parking location. Luckily, I was able to find a nice safe spot to park on the street before continuing on to the posted coordinates by foot. At the posted coordinates I was able to easily find the large sign and got to work obtaining the information I needed to work out the coordinates for GZ. With a reasonable set of numbers I then took rest on the nearby bench in order to work out the coordinates for GZ. So I sat enjoying the surprisingly sunny warm weather after such a wet rainy morning and worked out the coordinates for GZ. Once I worked out a set of coordinates that aligned with the Checksums, I was off.I relatively enjoyed my walk today and enjoyed exploring a new section of the Dandenong Creek Trail that I had not yet explored before.Once I arrived at GZ it was then a nice quick search before the well sized cache was found. *I may not be a part of the DGS, but there is nothing better than finding this type of cache container!*I have been really loving these short easy little multi caches. I think so many COs are nervous about hiding multis caches due to the additional maintenance. However, this is a perfect example of a multi that really wouldn't be much more work than a normal traditional. With a virtual Stage 1, it is essentially the same amount of work to maintain. It's multis like this that I think also encourage cachers to find more multi caches. Fun simple little caches that highlight a neat location or an interesting bit of history. I just love these multis and I hope the [CO](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=1ded3729-fe62-40bb-9f5f-fd559e7163b1&wid=1a9548fb-a968-4449-9b4d-3b09ecf40de1&ds=2) and other COs will continue to hide more and more multis like this one.So a big thanks goes to [ahomburg](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=1ded3729-fe62-40bb-9f5f-fd559e7163b1&wid=1a9548fb-a968-4449-9b4d-3b09ecf40de1&ds=2) for all the fun today. TFTC.**Cache Maintenance Status:**The cache container was in great shape. The attachment mechanism still seemed strong. All of the inner contents were nice and dry and the logbook was clean with plenty of room for future cache finders to sign.
Parked the car, took a pleasant walk, collected the information and calculated the final coords. A lovely area, been here a few times recently. A short walk took me the the cache. A productive find- filled a gap in my calendar and gave me a regular find on a date needed for a challenge I am working towards. TFTC ahomburg.
The digital root calculation had me questioning things a bit, but the check sum helped figure out what number was needed. Lovely multi and cache in great location.
Found with icw. The 'before' photo of what is now a functioning wetlands showed what a wasteland was there previously. A bird, which I suspect it was a juvenile Buff-banded rail, whizzed across our path but was too quick for me to identify it. Tftc.
Out and about with tiz13 for another caching adventure, my other caching partner had already done most of the caches on our list as he chased the FTF'sThis is one of the caches found today. Thanks ahomburg for the cache.
Today, I hit the Geo Road with Rebel Acts on a mission to clear his map of the new caches that have been placed recently. This was one of those caches we found. After crunching the numbers, we took a stroll to GZ ..it was a nice surprised to see such a large container.
Support Your Local VillainLive - Laugh - LurkFirst To Find: 198Sidetracked Cache Finds: 141After work today, with the sun shining, I decided to check out a few new local caches. After completing the necessary steps, I got the coordinates for GZ.Yes! One of my favourite types of container!Cheers for the cache.
I saw that another new cache popped up on the Eastlink Dandenong trail to tempt me to undertake another trip across the suburbs. I jumped on the train and made the journey. Calculations were done and I headed for GZ, where the cache was found speedily using my new phone (good job it knows what to do). I picked up a TB and a pathtag as well. Awesome.

Yay *FTF*. Out and about today on the weekend enjoying the weather and the cache hunting. Lots of red lights on the way but we managed to get here and didnt see anyone around. A quick clue gathering and our check sum looked good then after a short walk we were happy to see a blank logbook. Thanks ahomburg for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.
