Another early start today on the hunt for caches with a particular attribute to complete a popular Northside challenge cache. Historically Ive found inter caches a little flakey but this series has been spot on and quite enjoyable. After working my way through to the final coordinates I soon had the cache in hand and log extracted, mark made and swiftly returned to a place of safety. Hopefully I can find sometime later this afternoon, early evening to pick up a few more.A big thanks to Roddyc for placing this cache for the enjoyment of others.Cheers

I headed out to find a few of the new caches that have popped up around Logan recently, in between rain showers. Unfortunately, a lot of the GZs had lots of rubbish and broken glass which added a challenge. Once the rain seemed to settle in around noon, I grabbed some lunch and headed home.I rolled through the car park at the posted collecting the information required and was soon at GZ where I made a quick find despite the Ute full of people parked just down the road. Ants seemed to love me here and I was shaking them off for a while afterwards. Thanks for the cache

With the bulk new events that had popped up I took to my diary to see what was possible to attend. The event at Underwood was a match and I brought the husband lured him in with coffee. Well coffee turned into chatting, which then led to breakfast and then Lo and behold a cache hunt with a bonus {FTF}. Struggled a little get the interchange platform to work, but once I swapped my internet browser to Firefox and away from Safari it worked a treat! With that sorted it was time to head off! With a small batch of event attendees and my fellow FTF awardees we set off on foot to chase down the prize. Tada! We arrived and here is where I realised I should have a second coffee as I misread the question and attempted to enter a single digit rather than what was required. Luckily I picked up on my error on the second attempt got the next bit sorted and we were on our way again. Arriving at GZ there were a few possibilities, but the prize was quickly found and it was signing time. That completed with a flourish it was time to replace the cache with the help of our smallest cache hunter. Thanks for adding to our fun morning with the cache!

At the morning's event, there was news of six new InterCaches within the area, and we subsequently joined a small group consisting of [chamad](https://coord.info/PRPP06G), [grannysmith1947](https://coord.info/PR8VQX7), [Gullivers Travels54](https://coord.info/PR7R7YB), [GurTheWanderer](https://coord.info/PRWMPWQ), and [JACS Team](https://coord.info/PR10E63) following the InterCache's route accordingly. The InterCache platform was stable, and we were all provided the final instructions once we visited the intermediate waypoint, however, I didn't realise the recent issues/updates associated with what3words. There was discussion about how to best convert this location format to latitude/longitude, and thankfully, GZ was only a short walk away. Once at GZ, the cache was found quickly, and the cache container and logbook were in good shape, as expected by its first official visitors. Thanks [RoddyC](https://coord.info/PRC80AY) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.----------Today, baby Cottontail and I ventured south to Underwood and attended the [It's Kaffee Time at Underwood](https://coord.info/GCAZXFH) Event. We then joined [GurTheWanderer](https://coord.info/PRWMPWQ) and headed to Logan Central for a walk-around, and Cottontail enjoyed the playground in the nearby parklands. We toured around Logan Central following [Ugo's LACH Part 07 ???? (Logan Central 1)](https://coord.info/GCAY8AZ) Wherigo, and closed out our southern adventure with a few geocaches and walks in Woodridge and Underwood. On the run back home, we met [jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and baby Mopsy for a playground adventure, and a few final geocaches for the day.
