Had to hunt a bit as the GPS wasn't great. But found eventually with Sarge5556 tftc
A bit of mucking around to find the right place to park, but soon had the the cache once we were on the right track. Container size quite misleading as its about 500 mil not 10 L TFTC.
Found on our maiden campervan trip. Nice spot might stay the night TFTCCheers and Happy Hunting Southern Cross Caching
TFTC! This was a great cache to do on the way back from a great surf at the beach. The container was a lot smaller than we expected so we think it wasnt the original one, but it was pretty easy to find besides that. We got attacked by ants so it took a bit longer than it should have but all together it was an amazing geocache!
Methinks this is not the original container. Camped nearby and delighted to discover there was a cache close by.
#5345 We were returning from just seeing Alex, his family, extended family including second cousins at nearby Point Labatt. We just had to grab this olde cache hide on the way out. Thanks Quasar for placing.
No joy for us today. We searched for quite some time. Hopefully it is a case of cache blindness and muggles haven't found it
What a magnificent part of the world. Great to see old caches still in play.
Day 5: Today is a bit of a rest day. Sleep in, explore Streaky Bay and surrounds, collect some info from the visitors centre and plan the rest of our time in SA.
After horrible weather yesterday, the next few days are looking up and we are looking forward to exploring.
Well it’s holiday time again and this year we have planned a road trip East across the Nullarbor to South Australia.
We will be staying in Streaky Bay, Whyalla, Hahndorf and Mt Gambier before turning for home and making the trip west.
We are looking forward to eating and drinking, exploring and visiting a swag of wonderful places. Of course it wouldn’t be a holiday at all for a Geocacher without plans including a plethora of stops, deviations and distractions for all types of Geocaches.
Our thanks go to all the hiders who make this game what it is.

Very nearly gave this drive a miss due to the wet weather, road conditions and getting the hire car dirty. But the lure of an oldie and seeing a seal was too much to ignore so out I went. Parking on the road above, made a quick detour to GZ to find the cache. Thanks Team Quasar and Adam et all for keeping this oldie on life support.
Came to the area for the June long weekend enjoyed the weather and the caching. Then headed out to the wider area to find som more gems. Stopped here while passing for another fun find on one of my oldest unfounds [^]

My 6th day of my trip heading to and around the Eyre Peninsular. Today I left Kyancutta and headed off towards the coast and stayed near Streaky Bay for the night. This cache would be find number 18 of 22 for the day and find Number 129 in total for this trip away.
Another cache that was on my list to do on this trip. Great spot.

It’s well worth doing some old caches it’s amazing how long this cache has been going for even tho replaced a few times over the years as nothing lasts for ever. Great views here too TFTC
Went west. Found some caches Yours was one!
No sea lions spotted today, but found the old cache hide.
Cache has changed a little over the years methinks, but the great location is well worth the stopover.
All is good for now.
Many thanks for the cache hide and ongoing care and maintenance Quasar .

So what are we doing this week...
(Go west) Life is peaceful there.
(Go west) Lots of open air.
(Go west) To find caches new.
(Go west) This is what we'll do.
(Go west) Sun in winter time.
(Go west) We will do just fine.
(Go west) Where the skies are blue.
(Go west) This and more we'll do.
(Go west) Life is peaceful there.
(Go west) Lots of open air.
(Go west) To find caches too.
(Go west) This is what we'll do.
(Go west) together together we'll cache on our way
(Go west) together together you map me the way
(Go west) you cache places new
(Go west) this is what we'll do
(Go west) life is smiley there
(with thanks and apologies to the Village People and Pet Shop Boys - who must have been cat lovers!)
And ending up soon at Kyancutta

Country, Coffee, Cats, Champagne, Chocolate, and Caching...
Careful caching as always with Jack helping, wherever we go.
It's a dangerous world filled with rusty old mint tins and objects falling from trees
...... but a cache a day still keeps the boredom away
--------
Most of our caches are logged using the resources of gsak, garmin, and androids, occasionally AI too! (And a little rubber stamp )
----------
Make sure that Travel Bugs are the Only bugs you share and pass on (Covid cancels caching!)
Keep a safe distance - clean and cache the countryside
It's awesome of all those placing quality caches out and about around our country areas,
in sensible safe places and containers especially! - it keeps our game fun, and interesting
Of course we do appreciate if you actually did read all this extra addition to the log word count! There's a challenge somewhere out there, or so we've been told! You win a virtual smiley for the effort and getting to the end of the log Maybe if I worked out where it is I could do it and go back to normal logs again ! If you find the challenge let me know and perhaps we can put an end to these long logs !!!
[:o)]
The end. For now...
... until next time!

Out and about today driving the inland and coast from Streaky to Port Kenny, to Venus Bay, and to Point Labatt and return. Such amazing country, a lot of it dry, but there were some fantastic views along the way. Last cache for today. TFTC
Found on the way back from the sea lion lookout at Point Labatt. Picturesque spot!!! Camped in the area last night and it was an awesome view to wake up to. TFTC ️

Exploring my way home down the western side of the Eyre Peninsula with caching as a tour guide.
On my way down to visit Alex, I popped in and made the short walk to this one. Replacement cache is all in good nick, so NM can be cleared. Spotted some fragile orchids on my way back to the car.

The weather and UV had destroyed the lid of the container exposing the contents. We left a new container in it's place.
Thanks Quasar for the cache. Found quickly. The cache is not buried, and is broken, but the contents are OK.
Great place. Container is stuffed but log is dry within 2 ziplock bags. TFTC
What a beautiful place! We came last weekend in the wind and rain and came back for a proper look and the caches! we haven’t replaced the container but we have put the contents into a tough bag so hopefully that will help. Favourite point for the beauty!
Container is broken, log a bit soggy. Needs some attention. We camped just up the road. TFTC
Terrific area....thank you for leading us along the goat track to the cache & a lovely view.
Lid needs replacing - need a square 2lt sistema container lid. Cheers & tftc

We are staying in Streaky Bay for a couple of days and today we came for a drive to the sea lion colony and were happy that we got to see some sea lions along with pretty speccy views. [^]
We stopped here on the way to find the cache.
Thanks for the cache Team Quasar and Adam.

Quick find after visiting the sea lion colony. Signed log and headed on our way to the whistling rocks. TFTC.
Found this with my wonderful long suffering muggle husband while spending a week in Streaky Bay. Parked and walked to the cache. Cache has a hole in the lid. Really needs replacement. No sea lions but loved watching three pelicans catch a couple of fish. TFTC TNLNSL
found on our trip out west. so many of nature's wonders t be seen - flora and fauna
Took a 6km (each way) detour to find this cache. It was a beautiful drive and really glad we did.
The cache itself is in poor condition with a hole in the lid and a sodden logbook. I didn't have any replacements remaining in the vehicle, so left it upside down which will at least keep the rain out, but will allow damp in from the ground. Next finder please bring a replacement if possible.
Didn't see any Sea Lions today, but the water was aqua blue and serene. Thanks for bringing us here.

Away doing a lap of Australia with my family, we started in January and already have been to Tassy, seen the eastern side of SA, up through the Flinders Ranges into middle of Australia and in to the NT to visit Alice, Kings Canyon and Uluru again. Making our way back through Cooper Pedy where we found some opal, now heading down and along the Eyre peninsula. Sorry for the generic log, I seem to get myself behind and muddled if I don’t do it this way.
Thanks for supplying us with a cache to do on the way. TFTC

Thanks for the nice easy hide. We chose to do this cache based on the description. However, the description is clearly outdated. Dropped a trackable. Beautiful views.
During our new years break, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I headed to the Eyre Peninsula to travel around the various coastal towns. We started the trip with Jeep trouble, but then continued in our alternative vehicle without 4WD to stick to the main tourist roads where possible. We travelled south-west to Tumby Bay and Port Lincoln via Whyalla, Cowell, Cleve, Arno Bay; west across to Coffin Bay; and then north-west to Streaky Bay and Ceduna via Elliston, and Venus Bay. We then headed back east staying in Kimba via Poochera, Wudinna, Lock, and Darke Peak.
Today, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I continued our adventure from Talia to Streaky Bay. We made a stop at Venus Bay, and decided to leave the boating island/peninsula caches for another visit, to continue on to Murphys Haystacks. We then drove through Calca to Point Labatt to see the sea lions and seals, and then drove north via Sceale Bay. Finally, we spent part of the afternoon driving the Cape Bauer loop road visiting Whistling Rocks, which was a unique highlight!
I'm not sure if I understood the reference to Alex, but I guessed that this was the road out to see the seals and sea lions! Thankfully, the Mazda 2 survived this drive, and we made a stop at this cache.
Some really nice views of the bay. We did make the walk to GZ along some kangaroo (sea lion?) tracks, to find the cache at GZ reasonably quickly. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. There were no sea lions here, but we continued around to the point, where we were delighted to see the seals and sea lion colony from our lookout vantage point. Thanks Team Quasar and Adam for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. It was nice to have found this oldie 12/2002 hidden cache.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

Wandering around the Eye Peninsular because we can't go West. Visited the seals over 30 years ago for the 1 st time. They look like big slugs. . Almost got blown off the platform. Stopped to get this cache on the way back to Streaky. T.F.T.C.
No sea lions but the view were lovely. I took nothing (there was nothing) asked left a few swapsies to get things started for little cachers) TFTC
