As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm temporarily archiving this to keep it from continually showing up in search lists. Just contact us when you have the cache repaired, and assuming it still meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Unfortunately, the local kids have found this & won't give it a fair go so I have archived it for now.

2:50pm Very swampy but we didn't go in the swampy area (lucky). We took pics of some ducks swimming. Thanks for a great challenge. TNLNSL (Grandmother/Granddaughter)

When I arrived in the area of the cache I was observed by a group of muggle children (About 7) who have built a platform to play on above the undergrowth about 40 meters away. When they saw the GPS they asked if I was here for the 'box hidden up the track nearby'. They discovered the cache about 2 to 3 weeks ago and have been watching for the people that come to it. They were the ones to put the entries in the logbook. They then escorted me to the cache and asked about what caching was about.

It would be advisable to consider what to do with this cache as the children advised me that they play around the cache all the time. I gathered that the whole area on the west side of the lake is their playground as they live in the houses above this side of the lake.

I was a bit scared of snakes with this one. Got wet feet looking for it. Great spot. Thankyou fot the find TNLN

25-Jul-05
Found this cache after a fairly long look around. My GPSr also showed the cache bing about 15 metres in the water, however it was nice and dry.
Carried out some cache maintenance by removing all the rubbish and doing some "wallpapering" of the hiding spot.
No Pen in cache so was unable to sign log however some muggles did before me.

My sneakers got wet but I didn't give up and found it. Took shark toy & left Insulation tape Smile

18-Jun-05
There's a lot of water around at the moment, and it took us a couple of goes to find the right approach in the dark (aided by our 2 million candlepower torch; The Illuminator!)
We paused at the edge of the really wet bit with both GPSrs pointing about 10-12 metres into the water. Luckily, however, we were standing right next to the cache and MBL spotted it as she walked around it!
Nice and dry hiding place...
Signed the log, made no swaps.

Really stumbled upon this neat cache in the pouring rain. We love this game. Kids took bracelet, toy truck and slinky and left star wars toys. Thanks Bitsumishin

24-Apr-05
Called by on a Travel Bug raid and picked up Voyager Home. Cache is in good condition. Also found the coordinates out by about 10 metres. As there is less tree coverage at the moment, have included my coordinates. They might be of assistance to others.

hi for New Zealand my first find in aussie + tb voyager home . thx for the find satchmo cat (from nz)

13-Apr-05
Four of us looking for this well disguised cache for nearly an hour. Not at all what I was expecting for a typical '1' cache though - at least without the spoiler pic in the logs, anyway.
+ slinky
- body lotion

Tried this one quite late in the day, see sunset pics.

I took my eight year old with me, he loved jumping through the tall grass.

When we arrived at GZ the pointer was swinging every which way, there were so many hidey places, and the sun was quickly sinking. Torches out!

Spent quite a while looking, but no joy tonight. We did find a little frog, which the boy wanted to adopt. Placed frog back and gave up the hunt.

When I got home I checked some photos by Aushiker, but there's so much water! Looks nothing like the place we were at. I think we must've walked over were the water was. It's been a dry one for sure.

Will try again soon.

T4TH none-the-less.

Had heard that "Solly" TB might be headed this way so I thought I would check out a few caches in the area.

When the co-ords led me to a spot that might normally be a little on the damp side and with so many other potential hiding spots in the vicinity I wished that I had taken a peek at the spoiler photo.

Luck, intuition or just plain stupid bumbling around (I'm not sure which) led me to the cache after a short search. A crafty little hiding place indeed - only a flood of biblical proportions is likely to shift this cache into the lake.

Took: Key Ring Pouch
Left: Koala / 2 X Pairs Shoe/Boot Laces.
Picked Up: "Solly" TB - He was there - Hooray! (hasn't been logged as dropped off yet though)

13-Mar-05
Just a note on behalf of "Bitsumishin" to officially drop off "Solly" TB.

Thanks for the spot...

It was fairly easy to find as we walk our dogs there so I had a rough idea what was required. (more walking)

Third Find for TRD at 18:58, still no GPSr! Was helpful that one of our team knew the area quite well, and the photo from GZ helped. Great cache, great hunt- awesome place- well done Bitsumishin! One thing we did notice was the path is getting a little worn. Was the perfect time to be there- not many muggles and no mozzies!
T:US $1 coin, L: Xmas Card & Survival Can Opener (damn handy!)SL.

Our 3rd and last of the afternoon. Found with a short search. There were young muggles in the area digging a big hole but I think we made them nervous as they disappeared quickly.

Third for the morning. Much harder than I expected. So many hiding places plus GPSr had me heading into the water! Posted another set of coordinates which might be a bit more accurate. Took decal, left body lotion, ECU bookmark and boy in zip lock. Thanks for a very interesting hunt Bitsumishin.

Thanx for the hunt Bitsumishin.

Great place for ducks, they are everywhere. Not the usual hiding place, either, took more effort than the usual grass tree or rock pile. Great idea. TNLN Thanx Bitsumishin - wonderful spot.

Found easily after a short search, though the weather was threatening with dark clouds. Another cache with a difference, on a day out caching with a friend. Andrew had already logged this cache, but was happy to allow me the extra time to find and log it. T: baseball cap, L: key pouch. Thanks for the cache and the hunt.

Geat hiding spot and nice location. Didn't find the cache first time around, had to resort to using the spoiler. Took sewing kit, left crayola crayons. Bluey.

04-Feb-04
The plan was to park the car close by and ride my bike to this cache and "perry's"
I rode down the hill and over to the lake shore a quick look around and I saw the cache, it was in plain view from the lake.
I swapped something over and tried to cover the cache up as best I could. Great original idea for a cache placement.
Now onto "perrys"

Found it, I must be blind for not having found it before, I actually found it on saturday, but forgot to log it until now.

The world will now tremble from Fez dog's AWESOME Geocaching and sleuthing abilities (yeah right!)

17-Dec-03
Didn't find itRed Face, spent 15-20 minutes looking, but I must have been lokking the wrong way, co-ords wanted me to walk ~5m or so into the water (NEGATS!) I saw the spoiler, will try again tomorrow.

08-Nov-03
Found this one within a couple of minutes of arriving at the sight, but only by shear luck. Especially seeing as my GPSr put me out 20ms in the water???
Very interesting use of the local flora. I may have to take this idea back to my home town and use it.
Left a ratus plasticus and took nothing. Thanks guys.

Well, this is the 2nd attempt at finding this well disguised and thought out hiding spot .. compliments too at the location * grins * .. how handy is that? that the reserve is opposite your home...

We were attending the Xmas In July dinner held at Bitsumishin's house (hiya Mike!) and a few of us (including the Infamous Five and a friend) trotted off to find this cache IN THE DARK, wet night. I wasn't picking up satelites as it was overcast, as well as lots of trees around... did anyone mention it was night time too? LOL

I still reckon the co-ordinates are out, but even Mike had problems looking for it in the dark... the world is totally different at night... we even ended up taking the long way out - coz in the dark Mike got unco-ordinated.

Took nothing, left calling card. Thanks for a fun night... The Trekkers.

21-Jul-03
ok.. we couldn't get to it as we suspect the tree that it is in/around is under water - we've had quite a bit of rain of late..

will come back another time and try... we were not going to wade in 9 metres of water...

regards, The Trekkers

[xx(] Anzac Day and thought we would do a little geocaching on way home. Spent 40 minutes searching. Our GPS must have been out as we kept ending up in the lake - lucky it was dry Wink
Had a look at spoiler back at home and we were a good 20 m off. Oh weell. Not giving up yet!

We loved the way the cache had been hidden and took our time to make sure it was well covered before leaving. Wasnt to sure about the clues as we must have come in from a different direction but things made a bit more sense as we drove down the road later.

17-Feb-03
Found this one with Nissan on 18th Jan, but decided to look at it again. Actually like a dummy didn't realise it was the same one till I got there. The lake has evaporated as did I after I logged my visit AGAIN !!!!

06-Feb-03
Found it. Finally. It was no wonder I couldn't find this one at night the first time, well done! Smile
Left.. something, took homer.

03-Feb-03

Devar and i will visit this one on thursday... See if he can find it.. after being no more than 50cm away from it lasttime.. Good spot Smile)

29-Jan-03
Very well hidden, great idea. Took us a while to locate the exact area as we were barking up the wrong tree. Took key ring, left candle , marble and ball. Well done

27-Jan-03
Found it today, must have almost walked into it the other day. Great spot and a teriffic cache.

18-Jan-03
Last one tried for the day. Couldn't find it. Worth the effort just looking though. Try again another day.

18-Jan-03
10 mins to find, but like your style. Watch out if the dogs are around as they may bark which will help with the mark!!
NISSAN as found by Steve and Allan.

18-Jan-03
4:30 pm. Saturday. We looked and we looked, 45 mins of hunting and nothing. The GPS was showing a location about 15 metres off. Over time the breadcrumb trail led us to believe we werent quite in the right location. It seems that sometimes the satelites must be out of wack by a small amount. Finaly looked in the exact right place and laughed. Its well hidden and we ensured it stayed like that. Took the motercycle added soap and battery pack for the night hunters. We didnt need the clues and still arnt sure of thier meaning.

02-Jan-03
Maby its the Fact it was 10pm.. Maby its the fact I didnt have a Torch.. Maby its the Fact i was only wearing shorts.. Maby its hidden too well.. I dunno Sad

Ill go back during the day Smile

02-Jan-03
Cache 3 of 4 for the night.
Someone once said on here that finding caches at night gives it a whole new experience: they weren't wrong. It makes it a lot harder: with only one torch, wot and I spent a lot of time looking for this cache, with no success. Another time.

Very well placed, it would have to rain for forty days and forty nights
to flood this one. Didn't take anything but left a small metal fish. Both
myself and my son got stung from something we did not see, but it
was intense, so beware.

Thought that we could find this cache and say hello to Seamus and Kelley at the same time. We we didn't read the instructions before we left, had a vague recollection that the container was yellow and whilst we were sitting on the log getting eaten by the mozzies waiting for a phone call to tell us what we were looking for, Derek found it...... We left Mario the Cliche Gnome, superman toy and something else and took a key ring, a tweenie and something else. We took out the accounts from the back of the book and returned them to their owner!

15-Dec-02
The coordinates were spot on, we went straight to it. A very well presented cache. (We hope the accounts left in the back of the logbook were audited...) We took the calculator, a pocket mirror, pokemon watch and left a Yowie toy, a power ranger toy, 2 lollies and a Butt Ugly Martian toy.

Aisling, Robert, Daniel, Tony & Sharon

SurprisedWow, fast work. well done. I've thought about the winter but it's tree house is not ready yet.
Added a couple more things to the Cache as it emptied pretty quick. Seamus & Kelly nowhere to be seen. Must be playing with the frogs

Found this one with my sister and two family friends. Left a Dolphin keyring and a another keyring and took surfboard magnet & a snoopy. Also took the travelbug Seamus & Kelly into our care for another quick look around Perth before their journey across the Nullarbor (by car) begins.

14-Dec-02
found by Gina and myself. very easy to find but it might get a little wet in the winter. we left Seamus and Kelly the travel bug.
