Who can tell me the waypoint 4?

Staying quite close to the header coordinates this one was a good way to learn little bit about the nearer surrounding. Thnx!

When Im in Milton usually I get a thirst for the amber liquid which needs to be quenched. Any cache plans are easily forgotten so a new plan had to be had. The plan was to start early, late enough to miss the late finishing establishments but early enough before they reopen. This required a dawn start and all I had to content with were the joggers and other fitness freaks that pound the pavement. With most of the info collected had a good idea where the cache would be. After a PAF confirmation went a lookin. At GZ looked a some likely spots and spied the tether. I was wondering howd the cache would remain here!! Thanks Rogainer for keeping the oldie active!!

Since it's old, the cache caught my eye. As we are not anywhere near Milton but on the other side of the CBD, I don't come here by chance. So the first part of the multi was a virtual mystery part of gathering stages 3 to 6 with Google Maps and Images before I resorted to physical visits of the other three stages to complete the infos I needed to do the calculations. The GZ - as always - was where I passed multiple times already. I exactly knew what to expect but it still took be three visits and two extra hints (thanks!) to finally locate the mini container at last. It's so tiny, I spotted the tether and the cache at the same time. Also, it took me three times to locate the GC marking. Weathering is only a geocacher's friend, when it is about Earthcaches! WinkAll good in the end, thanks for the community maintenance. TFTC! Great to still see this one alive!

Thanks for the placement and smiley. Pleased to make the opening on a Thursday - Sally would be pleased. Back in the day - all restaurants would be closed on a Monday and Tuesday. Now outdoor dining - well that preempted COVID well.

Rogainer thanks for an interesting historical cache. Required sound observational skills and good research. Throw in some logic. And intuition and you have the solution. Over twenty years some of the signage has either been abbreviated or disappeared. Lots of fun

I have been working on this cache for a number of years now and finally got all the info sorted but I don't like going on weekdays as there is limited parking and weekends I seem to be tied up with other things. Today I attended an early morning Tardy Mouse Event not far away and we had a suitable park so it was well worth the walk to get this much wanted oldie. Didn't take long to find where it was but I was pleased to say Elena_maree was with us and much younger to do the retrieval. Log signed and cache replaced as found. TFTC

Rogainer I found your cache Milton Meander on 13/12/2023, 4:10pm. This is my find 6291 and find # 7 today. Took a while to visit and find the information on my e-scooter. Eventually got all the numbers and formulated the final coordinates. No problem locating this cache with the help of the hint. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN

The final coordinates of this multi cache have been burning a hole in my GPSr since 2006. I just never seem to get time to visit ground zero. Eventually there comes a time to make that time. And a cache was found. GC was noted after the find. It would have been better if I had seen it first.First Tuesday in November. The only day you can disappear from work at lunch time and arrive back four hours later after completing four caches and nobody asks where you have been. Freddo has been caching on Melbourne Cup day every year since 2004.Freddo traveled north from deep south to catch up with friendly Liz and Bruce and the RV Home base crew. I had a day in Brisbane with plenty of time to find a cache or two.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. I had done the meandering bit a little while ago when I was last caching in the area but hadnt managed to get to GZ on that day. Today, however, I was walking straight past so stopped for a hunt. The hint certainly narrowed down the possibilities and the cache was soon uncovered. I managed to sign and replace just before a posse of young muggles arrived on the scene. Perfect timing. I took some time to enjoy the surrounds before continuing on. Thanks Rogainer and all who help to keep this oldie alive.

It’s taken me a long time to get to the final of this!
I hired an ebike and rode out here early this morning.
I found the clue and then wondered how long it would take me to find the cache. I was looking for a different type of container and then realised I’d been thinking the wrong thing! Cleverly hidden cache here.
Glad to be finally living going it!

As I have explored & cached around Milton over the past few years I have slowly found all the answers. This morning I was able to make the find. TFTC

It was six months ago that I completed the research for this cache. I raced around gathering numbers and then went home to put it all together. Then I read that the cache might not be there to be found so I waited to see what would happen.

Since then it has been replaced twice and I keep meaning to go find it but it’s taken me a while to get back to Milton. Today I was there and so I hoped was the cache. When I arrived at the GZ there were two muggles sitting either side of GC. So I had to wait them out. Finally I had GC to myself and then soon had the cache in hand.

Thanks Rogainer for making this great multi and thanks to everyone who has helped to keep it alive.

Noting that the cache had recently been replaced I popped out quickly to see if I could make the find. With a couple of fishermen in a tinny nearby it took a while to retrieve the cache when they were otherwise occupied. TFTC

i have a vague memory of completing all the info for this multi over many years and stops. Must have been a long time ago as it was before i kept notes and i only had the waypoint in my phone. I have tried to find this cache before with no luck. A couple of times there were muggles at GZ and the time i did look i could not find it. Today i rode my bike after work in the drizzling rain thinking no one will be out but i was wrong and some muggles had made themselves comfortable at GZ and were have a great D And M. I was going to wait them out but it seemed like they were settled in so i made my way down the the closest ferry series (no luck finding that one). Twenty minutes later i made it back and the coast was clear. I followed my compass then followed the hint and soon had the cache in hand. Wow that is one great tether and it should keep it safe. Great to have found this oldie but goodie and thanks to all for keeping it going.

This afternoon, with a coffee event and CITO event planned at the University of Queensland (UQ), I departed work earlier than usual in order to ride my bike to the scheduled festivities. A good catch-up with everyone, followed by a tough terrain clean-up along the banks of the Brisbane River. Despite cutting through Highgate Hill and Elenor Schonell Bridge in order to get to UQ, I took Coronation Drive bikeway on my way back to Brisbane CBD, making a few extra St Lucia stops.

I had tried helping Davinells a month ago with this geocache after she PAF-d, but despite finding the hint, she thought it was missing. I was riding past this geocache today and thought I'd make a quick stop to check on it (and replace it, if it were missing). As it turned out, the cache was missing and ninja maintenance was performed to reinstate this cache. It looks to be nicely tethered now, and it may even survive the next flood event! All good.

A massive thanks to The Green Geckos for maintaining this cache and allowing me to accompany them when they replaced this cache.
Great to have this oldie still alive and kicking.

I came to Brisbane early today to gather the info required for this cache, it's been on the to-do list for a while. I had no trouble finding all the required info but had to double check my maths before I got some good looking coords.
I set off to GZ and found the "GC" referred to in the hint but unfortunately couldn't find a cache. I tried a PAF who confirmed I was looking in the right spot, I searched for a bit longer but still couldn't locate it.

Today on my bike loop I was finally able to close this one out.

Thanks for the fun adventure.

For a long time, this Milton multi-cache had scared me off from starting it. Perhaps it was due to the long description, and the lack of defined waypoints that had stopped me from looking at it properly. There had also been a couple of DNFs and noted missing waypoints, so anyway, for my first year of Brisbane residence, this multi-cache sat lonely while I visited various geocaches and Adventure Lab Locations in the vicinity.

It was only with the replacement of the geocache made in May by Brislions, Muggle65, and THE GREEN GECKOS, I was motivated to take a closer look. Within the app, I defined the seven waypoints (appreciating that this is an oldie, but it would be helpful if these could already be defined under the geocache?), and set up my personal notes to facilitate answers and corresponding checks. I then meandered around Milton on three occasions by bicycle and required visits to the area:
• Waypoint 1 visited 27/06/2022;
• Waypoint 2 visited 23/09/2022;
• Waypoint 3 visited 27/06/2022;
• Waypoint 4 visited 23/09/2022;
• Waypoint 5 visited 16/09/2022;
• Waypoint 6 visited 27/06/2022; and
• Waypoint 7 visited 23/09/2022.
I was able to find the majority of the answers without issue, and each of the waypoints' checksums was incredibly useful to confirm that I had the correct information. My only feedback was Waypoint 4's Surveyor General information was indeed moved up the road, and my corrected coordinates for that waypoint was S 27° 28.035' E 153° 00.008'. Waypoint 7's coordinates had me looking around from across the street, but further investigation in the roundabout centre had the correct dedication atS 27° 28.097' E 152° 59.927'. My final calculations for **AAAA**, **BBBB**, and **CCCC** again was looking good as per the provided checksums, and the subsequent GZ coordinates plotted a plausible spot. I soon realised why the cache seemed to go missing in floods, and why there weren't more caches in that area. My hope for finishing off this multi-cache on my last visit on 23/09/2022 then looked unlikely, and I knew my final outing would best be done by bike.

After work this afternoon, I thought I would make the last dash to complete this Q100 multi-cache. I arrived at GZ, placed my bike in a safe position, and started to walk around in my bike cleats, using a strategy mix of looking for the cache, and the hinted concrete GC. I wasn't sure how far I needed to go down as I made a couple of passes, and with neither strategy working for me, I took a PAF to a previous finder. Obviously, when that happens, you immediately see the "GC", and I was then advised where the cache was. Funnily enough, I did see the cache, but didn't investigate it further thinking it was likely litter, so there you go! The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Rogainer for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. It was nice to have found this oldie 08/2003 hidden cache, of which is one of Queensland's 100 oldest yet active geocaches.

Did all the waypoints back in February. The very next day it flooded and GZ was out of action for some time. Fast forward seven months and we found ourselves at the regatta for a special birthday lunch. Wellllll since we’re in the area…. A short walk later and we had the final in hand. Yay! Another golden oldie we can tick off the list. Thanks to the CO and others who’ve helped to keep this one going.

I had solved this last year and couldn’t find anything at gz so was very happy to see that it was replaced recently.
Early this morning I dropped my husband off at the airport with the plan to stop here on the way home. Being a drizzly cold morning I thought it would be fairly quiet but I was wrong - lots of cyclists and walkers about at 6.30am. But it didn’t take too long to find the cache. Even though there was high tide debris at gz, the cache was safe and dry. Very happy to get rid of the sad face. Tftc

Many thanks to The Green Geckos for replacing this cache after it was lost in the recent floods

I came back to find this one after last time not finding it.
But after the flood it definitely missing now. With permission from CO The Green Geckos and Muggle65 and replaced it. Thank you CO for placing this cache.

I had started this cache at least three times. Ran out of time the first go then washed my jeans with my notes in the pocket. Next time l just plain lost the notebook. More recently the storm from hell hit but at least l had stored the answers in my phone. Finally got around to finishing it today. Floods had eaten the container but the CO graciously allowed us to replace it. It is still where the clue indicates but is a bit smaller now - compact preform tube. So happy we still have this golden oldie. Thank you Rogainer for keeping her alive

01-May-22
, Bris & I thought we’d try a meander and tried to hunt down an oldie. Alas we came up short today, something to do with a major flood in the recent past. reached out & was given permission to replace by the CO and it’s now back in play.
LONG LIVE THE OLDIES!!!
we should all read logs prior & go prepared to help CO’s (with permission) to continue these the great caches.

Having found all the info recently, I headed to gz today. Found the hint but no luck with the cache. Will look again another time.

Saturday. Out on a trip into the big city

This has been on our to-do list for so long. Well today was a celebration day and so we were in the city out enjoying ourselves. Arriving early so we could do a spot of caching, this was first on our list. We finally got to GC after some work and found the apt message at GZ. So we looked and looked. Ended up paffing a couple of previous finders to check on what were actually meant to be looking for. We just couldn’t spot it after spending about 45mins at GZ location. Will pop this on the watch list for now. It may be that we just couldn’t spot it...

WP4 is missing due to construction work but the information was easily found online. The coordinates given by someone else goes to another information board about Gregory but the information needed is not there. I have found all the info and will try and get to gz soon.

Visited the waypoints a while ago, went home to work out the missing numbers.
Back tonight to claim the final. Perfect weather for it, not a muggle in sight.
First I found the cache then the hint!
This old cache ticks a few boxes for me.
Thank you for hiding this geocache and keeping me entertained Rogainer

Sneaking a cheeky last day of caching in yesterday before hightailing it back north saw me rolling around the city hen picking a cache here and there for further scrutiny and this blue frown came under my attention.
I did the hard yards for this one a few years back, visiting various waypoints some more confusing or mobile than others, having a great time rolling around, eventually i had some numbers i liked and taken to a place the hint also liked, yet try as i might no amount of rock hopping ensured a find.
So this time round as i was zooming past, i parked myself up knowing the cache had been replaced since last here. This time round i had the cache in mere moments upon arrival, the log however took some persuasion to extricate. The lids missing, so like the previous finder returned upside down.
Thank you so much rogainer for keeping this oh-so-old cache alive for everyone to mull over while mildly meandering around milton.
Glad to find at least one of your multi's while visiting brisbane.
Cheers!

I've had the final coordinates for this cache for years. The last couple of times I've been in the area and available to search, the container has been missing. Thanks to all who have helped maintain this oldie and thanks for the generous hint for GZ.

Unfortunately the lid is missing. The log though is a very snug fit so we placed the tube upside down.

Also, unfortunately there was a used syringe near the container. This isn't the first one I've found while geocaching. I've now decided to obtain a sharps container and tongs for future finds like this. BE CAREFUL AT GZ.

No more shall you haunt me, nemesis cache!

I have no idea why this cache has been so hard for me to find. I worked out the final location relatively easily on my first attempt, but ran out of time to look for the cache.

Second attempt there was a bible study at GZ and I didn't want to interrupt.

Third and fourth attempts were aborted as I ran out of time.

Fifth attempt was a DNF.

Why doth thou teaseth me? This time I decided to bring a real cacher with me, a grown up, a responsible person. Well, that plan fell through so I had to bring Prime instead :p.

It still wasn't an easy find, but eventually he came up with the goods, and I was overjoyed. I FINALLY have my name in this log. So good to solve and find another of Queensland's oldest 100 geocaches. 29 down, 71 to go Very Happy.

TFTC and TB visits while I am here.

Found today with goldielover after a false start a couple of days ago. Serious problems with way point 1 Sally has definitely gone and will not be back. We had to get a paf for these numbers luckily. The numbers we were given were 28 04 1988. Hope the co doesn’t mind me putting these up. Almost impossible to do this multi without them.
We had a great wander around Milton gathering the required information. A little problem appeared at way point 4. The sign now appears down the road a little at S27 28.038. E153 00.005.
The last few points were tracked down with out incident.
With the new information we received I had numbers for the final. A train trip and a little walk we soon had the cache in hand. Container totally full with water unfortunately. Emptied it out and replaced as found.
Thanks heaps for the great multi. Hope more gets to enjoy the local sights here.

Found with stairman1.Thus was a marathon effort. As mentioned previously WP 1 and 4 are missing. Mr google helped with WP4 but WP1 was a wild guess. So wild we were wrong and had to resort to a PAF to correct our mistake. Back again today and were surprised to find the cache so close to another cache. Names in book now home. TFTC

Goldielover and I spent way way too long on this one. With way point 1 definitely gone we should have had warning bells ringing. It was such a nice day and this was our intended cache for the day. We hoped we may be able to sort it out later. Enjoyed our wandering around the various way points until reaching 4. This one has definitely moved and when we found one about 80 metres away with some information on it hopefully the right stuff. Sadly no. No matter how we worked the numbers there were none that matched the check sum. This is obviously not the correct sign or it is a different one.
We had no chance of getting any check sums right even with our best guesses. We even resorted to a paf but sadly over 6years ago did not have the numbers needed.
This cache set out now really needs to be looked at now with two way points clearly not correct.

King Lizard and I had some business to attend to in the morning at the hospital. Seeing as we don’t usually get this way during the week and with the afternoon free it was declared that we would grab this cache. Having completed the hard yards so many moons ago and given up with the cache missing I was over joyed to see it had been replaced. KL made the find and did the hard yards whilst I simply oversaw his work. Nice clue!

16-May-20
Last weekend we were in Milton and that’s when we did the work for this multi. We found all the waypoints except the first because clearly Sally Anne Atkinson has left the building. I can only assume she was here on a junket as Lord Mayor using the rates money to buy bottles of NV Bollinger. If the Crime and Misconduct Commission is reading this then I am quite prepared to accept that Sally was here drinking Coolabah cask wine but using public funds none the less.

During the week I set about seeing if I could work out where GZ was with a missing waypoint and all the checksum tips. Who said maths was fun - well most of my high school teachers did but nearly all of those educators were just aliens probing each other. I had two locations that were only 10 metres apart and felt I was going to be “In Like Flynn” without all the hedonism (unfortunately).

After a coffee run we made our way to GZ and looked for a while trying not to stand out like sore thumbs. I don’t know how the “sore thumbs” expression came to be but if you really want sore thumbs then I suggest you put together 3000 pieces of lego after an afternoon of white wine and evening of red wine. I also don’t recommend hammering in nails after a session on the sherbets. We had a laugh when we found the hint location and had our stamp in the log soon after. tftc

I had this one on my radar for the oldest and finest challenge, and decided to take a meander around Milton with geopup yesterday morning to collect the clues I needed.

A lovely walk it was, a lot of families making good use of the beautiful early morning weather before it starts to cool down too much, and lots of dogs out for a morning walk as well.

I learnt a great deal about the history of Milton as I gathered all of the required information I could find. I knew there was a challenge with 1 and 4, and even though 4 is 'just up the street' I was unable to find anything. After a PAF yesterday I had the details I needed.

Out this morning on a solo journey around the city completing an Adventure Lab, I wanted to come and collect this cache. Taking note of the hint, I was able to make the find during a break in constant muggle traffic. With the log signed and all replaced as found, I made my way to the next one.

Thanks Rogainer for the history lesson and for keeping this cache alive.

Oh - this nearly killed me! I had done some homework before heading out today, but still needed to PAF for one of the waypoints. Arrived at GZ nice and early - to find a lovely large group of people having a bible study for International Women's Day. I didn't want to disturb them, or reveal the cache, so I had to walk away. I needed this "M" to spell MARCH and to add another find to the oldest 100 list but it wasn't to be. I have the final and will be back Very Happy.

28-Feb-20
Most of the homework was done on this one a week ago, with no trouble finding most of the way points. I sat at a cafe where WP1 should have been, but no matter how hard I looked, I could not find what I was searching for. Where was Sally-Anne??
WP4 has been moved I suspect, but it is definitely still there and visible if you take a look from Google Earth, just a couple of hundred metres away.
Missing the information from just one way point, I worked my way backwards and put all the numbers together. I came up with for possible solutions, one of which was confirmed by a previous finder.
At GZ I was most surprised to find another geocache hidden so close by, one that had our smiley on it from another trip this way. I’m not sure how that works, as I thought physical locations needed to be 161m apart?
Nonetheless, it was fun meandering around Milton and discovering a little more of the history of this area. It’s lovely to add such an old cache to our list of smileys.
Thanks

Schools back & nikid1 & I could finally get out for a day of geocaching. Nikid1 was keen to collect this oldie as it had been recently replaced & she had done the hard work to get the co-ords quite awhile ago. There were a number of people enjoying their lunch in this lovely location but they paid us no heed. Hint very helpful in making the find.

Has been a while since I completed this lovely old multi and I must say it was great learning about the local Milton history and the beaut views are an added bonus as well. Reading previous logs helped when stuck on WP4 but would of stumbled on it just the same, although did get help to confirm when the sums didn't work out.
After my recent DNF, I contacted the CO who gave me approval to place a container at GZ until he is available to do a maintenance visit which is very kind of him as it keeps this very old cache active.
So today with a group of geo friends we decided to swing by into the city and complete this multi and give it some smilies
The hint at GZ is perfect, certainly saves time not having to move much camo and not to be put off by the many muggles that use this location at all times of the day. Definitely a favourite point from me, well done CO and thank you

After gathering all the required info ages ago I thought I'd clear my solved puzzles & multi caches before I tackled any more. This is my second visit to GZ in two weeks, this time with a previous finder and I was looking in the right spot all along but we are positive this cache is definitely missing.
Thanks for placing this beaut Multi cache Rogainer, has been very interesting to do thus far.

I have been collecting clues for this one for quite some time. And have enjoyed discovering different parts of Milton. I wasn’t sure if my final GZ was correct but a previous finder said yes that’s right. Many months later and I found myself here this morning. Found the hint easy enough but couldn’t find the cache. Sigh. Even early Easter Saturday morning there are a lot of people here. I’ll watch this one. Thanks for the fun I’ve had along the way.

Aaargh! So frustrating having to log a dnf here, after the multi milton meander getting all the wps sorted. I thought it would be a quick sign and dash today, even found the hint quick enough, alas that was as far as it got. Certainly got my gym workout for the day though at gz. Hope its still there, possibly under the packed detritus i tried unsucessfully to pry apart. Thanks for the help and fun anyway rogainer

Miss 13 is on school holidays at the moment and so am I, so I snuck out early to go and find this one. I got a fantastic free parking spot for 2 hours and had everything crossed that this would be all the time I needed. I had a lovely meander though the streets of Milton, walking to each of the waypoints (I'm glad I checked the order of where I needed to go at waypoint 2), taking in the history and collecting all the information as I went. By the time I reached the last waypoint I was starting to get a bit anxious, I had only about 20 min left for my parking, a 5 min walk to GZ and a 10 min walk back to the car - it was going to be close. I hope this doesn't take too long to find. Having read previous logs I had a bit of an idea of what I was after and a dropped pen at the site was very helpful in locating the cache Phew! I sprinted back to the car and made it with 2 min to spare. I really enjoyed my walk, which according to my FitBit was just over 5 km. TFTC Rogainer, I really appreciate all the work you put into this one, a very well-deserved fave point for you

Had a great time wandering around Milton gathering the clues for this one and working up an appetite for lunch! WP3 caused us some momentary confusion, but our picture of the relevant information and the checksum was a great help when we came to resolve it later. As noted by others, the plaque for WP4 apparently grew bored of its previous location and has upped sticks down the road to approx S 27 28.038 E 153 00.005. Once we'd crunched the required numbers we questioned ourselves and PAFd on our way to the indicated GZ; just as we arrived the message came through confirming we were right so we settled down to search, which in the end turned out to be a very short one! Thanks for the cache and taking us on this great little tour Rogainer!

With high winds foiling plans for a yak today Demelza had the idea of a nice multi walk & lunch! I've never been known to say no to a cache, or food so I was in! ??? WP3 required the most thinking, having us leaving the plaque with two possible answers.. The check sum didn't help at this stage, but later proved very valuable in pointing us in the right direction ? WP4 has moved but was easily located down the road a bit around S27 28.038 E153 00.005 ? All other WPs were found easily and information jotted down for later use ? Our last WP was the big yellow wheel, and with paper, and calculator at the ready we crunched the numbers ? Our final looked very promising except for one thing.... ? We made a quick PAF while heading in the direction of the cache ? It turned out our numbers were good and the cache was soon found - the hint helped us narrow down our search area ?? A very clever addition ? Thanks for the fun multi ?

Found with Neo the Geo mutt! Quite an adventure over quite a while. Thank to Rogainer for getting back to me so promptly with the Waypoint 4 query. Nice work! This is a fun cache to do for sure and learnt a lot about Milton, I live in West End so it's been a lot of walking. Good for both of us! All is good at GZ, amazing that the cache is still here! Thanks Rogainer and have a Fave!

While collecting all the information from the different stages, I got to find most of the other caches in the area. At the final then, it took me a while to realise that the hint is to be understood quite literal. Thanks.

Some time ago, while working in the area, I set about finding all the waypoints for this cache.....and that was as far as I got. More recently, I decided to do the calculations for the final. It was then that I discovered that I had photographed the wrong thing at one of the waypoints. This meant that my efforts to find the final were again thwarted and the cache put aside for another day. Last week, I was in the area with stortigirls and she kindly agreed to a stop so that I could get the correct information. Fast forward to last night. With all my information to hand, I made my calculations, but the did not look right. Hmmmm! I double checked all my calculations, but they still didnt put me in a likely spot. I reread the cache description, only to discover my glaring error! Oooops! Calculations done again. This time, the spot looked promising. This morning, I met up with stortigirls again and we made our way towards GZ. We found a spot to park, then took our life in our hands as we crossed the busy at the crossing. Then a nice stroll to GZ. There, the cache was quickly located and the log signed. This is a really lovely spot. Thanks for bringing us here. TFTC

I had spent yesterday collecting the information with wombles and RhoBoCacher. Unfortunately we ran out of time and couldn't collect the final cache. While that was disappointing, it gave us time to do maths. Which was probably a good thing as I was getting the maths all wrong Thankfully 1MinnieMoo was on the ball and noticed where we were going wrong. Woohoo! A good looking final Today I returned with 1MinnieMoo to create that smiley. We strolled along enjoying the view. At GZ it didn't take long for 1MM to spot what we were looking for. We left our marks and replaced as found. Thanks for the cache Rogainer

1/3/17, 10:59 am Find #619 Well this one is quite the "meander" for all the waypoints, but after managing to extract all info from the waypoints last night NyssaFlutterby, Wombles&Co and I all set about trying to get a good set of coords together. Wombles&Co got one set, Nyssa another, and me something else again and none of them seemed to be near where we wanted to be. However upon reevaluating my figures I noticed a terrible mistake I had made, and all of a sudden I had a much more likely set of coords! Oh silly girl, this is what happens when you try and rush an answer at night. However the new checkpoints seemed to all work and the location looked like a good spot, so armed with these NyssaFlutterby and I set off this morning to tackle this one. Upon arrival nearby we managed to secure a 15 min parking spot and thought we would be able to make our find in that time, so over we headed... tho we had to go over that way first to get there, which added a little to our distance and therefore time. But soon enough we arrived at a very likely location and found what we were after quite nice and safe... and very dry, which kind of surprised us both a little. Paint is coming of the container, as is evidenced by the fact that I'm still scratching it off my hand and leg 3.5hrs later. All still in good order though, and we managed to replace safely without too much worry from muggles. Thanks for the cache Rogainer. What a way to get some history into us!

What a beaut cache! We wondered which 'end' to start at... we chose wrong. Nevermind it was a lovely enjoyable walk. (Point 4's notice board is further down Haig Rd but we also needed to use Google.) So glad to have the checksums. Great points of interest discovered today. We were taken to places we've never been. Fav Pt from us. Thanks heaps Rogainer. Loved it.

For some time I've been planning a caching visit to the CBD, and today is as good a day as any. After visiting the Roma St Parklands, I headed over here and visited all the waypoints on the deadly treadly. Plenty of history to be found along the way here, and there was no problems in the end with the waypoints, although some had me scratching my head wondering which plaque/sign I should be looking at. Exploring the area by bike is ideal as there isn't much parking. At GZ the container was found after a little searching, had a chuckle when I saw a very obvious clue scratched on the concrete although it was quite helpful. This cache is in good condition, and makes smilie #3139. Thanks Rogainer for showing us this spot. Feel free to discover our trackable TGQNRV .

Finally found it!! I started gathering the answers a year ago but took a 10mth break. Recently I collected the rest of the answers to work out the final co-ords! Needing the final letter for the last of the unfinished monthly challenges today I headed out after planning my approach. I managed to time the retrieval of the cache in between walkers and cyclists! All good with this cache! Thanks for the multi cache, Rogainer! A favourite point from me!

This was a fun way to shake off the jet lag since I had arrived from Los Angeles on business earlier in the day. Beautiful weather and nice to see the neighborhood while learning some history. The brewery smell took me back to uni days in Edinburgh. Rogainer was very responsive when I emailed to confirm final coords. One tip at the end: lots of possible places so look in front of SW yellow semicircle. Fave point from me! Thanks.

What better to do on a rainy day than a multi where you can drive around to the waypoints. All the check sums worked out and got the final co ords. Quick find at gz. In the container was someone elses workings and they made similiar errors to me. Thanx for the check sum at each way point. Nice views from gz. Completed as part of the oldirs challenge.
