Found it 2 days ago. I thought I was going to have to wait out a group of muggles at ground zero.another muggle showed up and asked if exisiting muggles carried a pen?turns out all the muggles were actually crazy cachers like me. Another eagle eyed cacher found the goods and we all joined the log book signing. Such fun to find so many cachers in one spot. Tftc.
One of those moments. Approach ground zero but people taking photos.
Hang on, someone just disappeared behind a rock.
It turns out 3 of us showed up at the same time. Group effort it was easily found. TFTC

I was on the hunt while Sandyofthesea was taking a few photos. A group of muggles turned up… damn. Two were cachers, so it was on with us all scurrying around. The ripple rock was a good place to start but it was on the other side of the large rock to the left (facing the falls).
Finished up the day with a boat cruise. Awesome spot!
Sandyofthesea and I took off from Perth at the start of April to travel more of Australia using geocaching as a guide to see the sights. How good is this country!!
TeamAstro, I found Comet Indarri today. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.

It is a long time between finders out here! We’re staying several days at Lawn Hill, and this morning completed the long circuit out to lookouts and falls. Made a quick find here. Thanks for the hide.

Found on Week 8 of my travels to northern Australia..
I travelled from Adelaide up to Cairns over 3 1/2 weeks on my own, then met up with FeatherWaite and another friend from Hobart and we spent another 3 weeks going up to the tip of Cape York and back. We then headed off on our separate ways home. I stayed in Cairns for a few days prior to heading back to Adelaide.
With the rather dynamic covid situation and the restrictions in place in terms of entry back into SA, I hadn’t really decided on my route home, although I decided to head west to keep the options of travelling home via the NT or via Birdsville. I was in no hurry!
Last year around this time I was a little further south and decided not to visit Lawn Hill as it was getting a bit too hot for me. So this year I made the diversion, this time from the north, and enjoyed a couple of days in the area, camping at Adels Grove.
This morning, while it was still reasonably cool, I did the walk along the creek to the Upper Gorge Lookout at Lawn Hill Creek, finding this cache and visiting Indarri Falls along the way.
Thanks TeamAstro for the cache.

Finally made it out to Adels Grove / Lawn Hill NP on my trip through Western Qld and to eventually make it to the Gulf.
I did the walk to get to this and did the step walk to the lookout first then contained my way along to this one and then down to the falls.
Waited out a few muggles then was able to sneak in and find this one and add my name to the log.
A boat ride and a swim to the falls was on the cards for tomorrow.
Thanks TeamAstro TFTC

Favorite for us, what a location, we paddled and we walked. Chose to get this one when we did the walk, we left early to ensure no muggles to disturb us. Cache in good orderTftc
Just had to have a big walk around followed by a swim. Took a little to find but find we did.

We left Mt Isa at 6am and headed up Riversleigh Rd but when we got past Riversleigh station, we found that the water over the causeway was too deep and too fast-flowing, and the algae too slippery, to continue. So we had to head back to the Gregory-Camooweal Rd and go the long way around - a 200km detour. The gorge itself was spectacular and I definitely want to come back here with the wife when we have more time to enjoy it. When we got back to Gregory to refuel, we discovered that their EFTPOS was broken and we had no cash (will definitely bring spare cash on all future trips - lesson learnt there). So we ended up having to drive to Burke and Wills for fuel. We came back into Mt Isa via Cloncurry arriving at 9:30pm. I am very grateful to local Isa cacher drrnrchr for the loan of a jerry can, without which we would have been well and truly stuck. A very long day for two caches but definitely well worth the effort to see the gorge
WOW! Great location. It was a mission to get here but well worth the effort. Visited with Beardman75 during a North Queensland caching adventure.
Thanks for the cache.
Cheers

Thoroughly enjoyed this location, walk to GZ only the easy track was very picturesque and with good coordinates the cache was quickly found, all in good condition, a favourite point from me and

Day #16 for us to Darwin, spent the last night halfway from Riversleigh to lawn hill. So we arrived relatively early, but the day parking area was filled already. Did the hike to the upper gorge lookout, which was okay but not amazing. Found the cache before having a short refreshing swim at the falls.

What better thing to do afrer a swim at Indarri falls in Lawn Hill National Park than to find a cache. It was hot so I was glad I found this one quickly. Great spot for a visit and a cache.
This year i spend my holidays together with my family in Australia. We explore your beautiful country by car (Cairns to Perth) and we had a wonderful time. And because of your geocache we saw an impressive landscape, enjoy a short walk or just had a short rest. So many thanks to you for showing me your country. We love it

With Fangsoki and Crew153 in the mighty Canyonero, we hit the outback in search of the oldest and finest Queensland has to offer. 6000+ kms in 8 days - an epic journey. Day four and we are here. Coming up from Camooweal it was a long, rough ride and whilst an interesting scenic drive, the fun of the dirt road was wearing a little thin. But here we are. Safe, a little rattled, but all OK. We've been admiring the stark bare landscape all morning, and more recently the looming rocky mountain range that we've now driven up and over to this parking spot.
Apart from the odd truck and a couple of 4WDs we've seen nobody for hours. Until now. Wow, where did all these vehicles suddenly come from? Surely not all on the road we just drove (apparently not). There are motor homes and caravans and 4WDs everywhere, all setup to camp, there's a big ranger station, there's amenities, clearly signposted tracks, signs. Wow, this is a real different place. But it's all dry, dusty, hot, rocky - why?
Oh well, caches to find, off we trotted on the path to GZ. "Indarri Falls" eh? - probably a dry creek bed or at best some sort of natural spring trickling to the surface? We'll find out. Traversed up the little incline and over the top, bit rockier here, around the corner .....
oh!
Oh wow.
Oh that is not what I was expecting. Not at all. That's fantastic. That is astonishing for this area. A real oasis.
I can see why so many people are all the way out here now. Oh yes, cache found (and that's cool in itself), and then I just sucked in the view, went down to the water's edge (oh that's nice). I really want to come back now and stay here a while. An easy fav point for the location and a nice spot for the cache too.
Thanks TeamAstro for bringing me to this location.

When Fangsoki and Pprime (P') mentioned about a road trip to get the old caches in outback Queensland I jumped at the chance to see some of our great country. The 8 day tour covered some 6,000km and a day on a boat in the Whitsundays. I wouldn't have missed the adventure for the world.
This cache was the furtherest from home cache that we had targeted and was a definite "Must Find" for us on this trip. The road conditions getting here were trying to say the least with rough roads and water crossings. We finally pulled into the park
and were surprised by the number of people already in residence in the camp.
We headed off along the park not knowing what to expect around the corner and we were blown away by the sight that came into view. A virtual Oasis in the middle of the wilderness.
This spot has to be one of the highlights of our journey.

This was the ultimate goal for Crew 153, Pprime, and I. It was the furthermost and I have to say the more "difficult to get to" of the caches on our trip.
We left Camooweal with a bit of local knowledge under our belt. The road wasn't terrible. It was very dusty and corrugated in places. It was slow going. I didn't dare go above 80kph in the poor Canyonero. The water crossings were not too bad - about 30 - 40cm deep at worst.
We were very happy to finally pull up at Lawn Hill. We made our way toward the Indarri Falls. It was considerably hotter than I expected We began to ascend and weave our way through the rocks.
We arrived at the cache and Pprime soon found it. We signed the log and popped in a trackable to move it along.
What a splendid view from here. Crew 153 and I went down to the lookout to take some snaps too. I was most surprised at the palm trees and clear water present.
A fantastic place for a cache.
The trip back to Gregory was just awful. That road is monstrous. It destroyed my lightbar bracket, my CB aerial, and my headlight protector. But we were very glad to get to Gregory. Job done. We had survived. TFTC TeamAstro

After an early morning cruise with the silent solar boat, we did this walk to find the cache to see this gorgeous gorge. TFTC
TFTC. What a view. What a place. Finally grabbed cache on our last day visiting the NP.
On a rail and bus tour out to Lawn Hill and doing a few caches if we can slip away for a find. Thanks TeamAstro.
Found today on a tour out of Adels Grove. We did the boat tour, then had time to walk up to the lookout and find this guy as we admired the falls for a second time.
Cache in good condition. Thanks for this one and the view!!

First we approached it from the wrong side but after some scrambling, thinking, returning we finally ended at the right spot.
Pity that Lawn Hill NP is so far away from the rest of Australia, it was one of my most favourite spots on our way from Darwin to Cairns with the small detour via Cape York.

It is hard to describe the beauty of Lawn Hill National Park and a photograph does not really do it justice. The views along the trails are awesome and well worth the effort to get up there. We thoroughly enjoyed the trail up to the viewing area to Indarrie Falls and made a nice easy find of the cache container. Nice to see some of these golden oldies still in circulation. I'm sure we have found several of Team Astro's caches on our travels over the past few years. TFTC
Stifling heat millions of flys. Now I see why there is nobody out here this time of year. still smiling thouTFTC
We found this at 10:25 am today. What a pleasant surprise and we never brought our bathers along! Watched some other folk swim, checked out the fish and stayed a while. Climbed up to the lookout, great view, then walked back, much warmer on the way back! SL TFTC
Took the long round, bit of a hike but enjoyed sitting on the jetty. Staggered up the hill to enjoy the great view and find this long running cache.
Detour around Australia- family of 6 in a camper trailer for 6 months!
Lawn hill was on our 'must do' list as we travelled as it's been on the radar of places to visit for many years - and we weren't disappointed!! Spent a wonderful 5 nights at Adel's Grove and enjoyed all the hikes, the solar powered boat trip and swimming in the falls and gorge and river! The hike to the upper gorge lookout was just fabulous and it was on our return trip that we stopped for a swim at the falls and then collected the 2 caches in the area as well. All in all it was just the best day of hiking (just over 10km), swimming and caching which we thoroughly enjoyed (even the littlest 4yearold!)
Thanks so much for placing a cache here all those years ago! Favourite point from us!

Well things where fairly busy compared to the last visit here!!! We paddled up to this area last time.. Walked in this time but went a little to far .... checked coors again, had to do a bit of back tracking !! Eventually finding GZ with it's treasures!!!! signed and retuned back to the carpark ,after taking a few happy snaps!!! Thanks TeamAstro... +FP for location ..
A quick find after walking the 'high road' to get here while TWO walked the 'low road'. We met up down below before walking back (on the Low Road). The cache is in good condition and was well concealed from the occasional walker. SL. This is our find #4893 - thanks to TeamAstro for the cache.
Wow what a spot!!! Found whilst on the 2017 #gnomehome adventure around the Australian continent. thanks for the cache and thanks for bringing us here.
A nice stroll after canoeing to the falls and back. Wonderful views from GZ. Glad I cache as I probaly wouldn't have seen this lovely part of the Gorge. SL TFTC
Found at 11:23 AM GAFF1.
Here is another one of those caches that we are targeting - ones that were published before we started caching! A long way to go to get it, but luckily we were in the vicinity and after a nice stiff walk we were looking over the gorge with cache in hand. After finding the cache we swam in the cool water amongst the archer fish and then sat under the water fall letting the water pummel our backs - so soothing!
Thanks TeamAstro.
Feedback: No longer a regular in size.

Travelling around Australia and currently visiting outback Queensland.
We have had some fabulous weather whilst in this region.
We stayed at Adels Grove and drove into the NP. We did the walk to Indarri Falls and found this cache, then came back again in the afternoon to do the boat cruise in the Gorge. Such a fabulous spot.
Glad we were able to visit your cache whilst in the area.
Cache was broken so we replaced it but only had a 400ml sistema so a bit smaller than the previous, but we managed to place the old logbook into the cache.

Quick find on this beautiful walk. Canoed up here yesterday. Hole in cache container and everything wet. Dried as best as we could and placed container upside down do hopefully air through hole will help to dry out
First find on this one in 2016
One day off work this week, what better than a 700 km trip for 3 caches? As long as the location is as good as this one is a day well spent.
Went for a swim in the falls after signing the log.
Thanks for the cache

Found as part of our 5 week trip from Adelaide to Lawn Hill and then onto the Territory.
Apologies for the late logs but Vodafone doesn't cover much of that part of the world.
We found 109 and had 10 dnfs, some more than once.
We made it to Lawn Hill with no problems and enjoyed our morning walk out to the falls.
Cache was found easily in an Astro spot. All good with this one.
Find number 5,000. Yah for us. Our find number 1,000 was Astro La Vista Baby, which one for number 9,000?

Really beautiful area. One of Australia's treasures. Have had a fire through this area in last week. Cache is safe but the sandstone is cracking and may be dangerous for future cachers as they reach in to grab the cache. Picked up geocoin. TFTC
Canoed up the gorge, climbed the hill, found GZ, but after searching for quite a while the sun was making it too hot so had to give up, very frustrated, but glad I climbed and saw the falls from above, well worth it.
What a location!!! We came by canoe because all the trails were closed (fires). A really nice place. TFTC
Was here with Swismiss10.

Came to this one on foot while spending the day walking around exploring all the tracks in the area.
There really are some fantastic views along the way!
We plan on doing the canoeing part of things here tomorrow.

Found by Sunshine Toledo and Her Majesty at 11:00am. Sorry for the delay in logging this cache but we have been 'On the Road' for a month. It has taken us 7 days to get here from Brisbane and staying at Adel's Grove. What a special place this is. Lots of pix were taken. TFTC

Stayed at Adels Grove for a few days. Visited the Grove last year and did this great walk, but did not know there was a cache here. Just had to find it this year. Did the walk again. This must be one of my favourite places in QLD to visit. Thanks for bringing me back here again.
Very nice area to walk around. We came early in the morning from Adels Grove and it took a bit of climbing and searching but we found it!
Found while staying nearby at Adel's Grove for a few days. The canoing and walks at Lawn Hill are not to be missed. Many thanks. TNLN

We did the 2.5km walk and found the cache and seen some great views down into the gorge and over looked the water fall,
then we did the canoe ride and spotted a fresh water crocodile.
Thanks.

Thanks.
Paddled up and down the gorge, then walked to the cache. The falls look better from up here than from the canoe.
Checked in and checked out travel bug.

What a beautiful spot for a cache to be hidden. Really enjoyed finding this one.
