Logs
Was walking the dog past this cache this morning, so I thought I'd give it a quick check. And yes, it's gone. I couldn't find any trace - The log was far away, and there were smaller logs all around. It looks like so kids must have been mucking around...
Decided to use the long weekend as a last minute dash to get to as many of Panic!'s caches as possible before they're all gone. This is the closest to our house that we haven't found yet, and as it was last found just four days ago, we were hoping for an easy find.
Found the stuff listed in the clues, but no cache. Will have another quick look tomorrow, but it looks like this one has been cachenapped (or Panic! has already removed it).

Found by Mary & David at 1220. Fascinating story about the jogger. After the odd problem with call centres ourselves, it is not difficult to see how that could occur. Also maybe says something about the dangers of jogging? We wondered whether we might encounter any feral kids as it is school holidays, but the coast was clear. Took foreign coin, left penguin. Thanks again to Panic.
Oh no! What's happening - Panic!... You are archiving all your caches? That will wipe out around 1/3 of all Canberra caches! This is bad news!
Thank-you for the offer to “take over†this cache, I certainly cannot complain about the distance involved... Unfortunately though, it is not really my style of cache, and would therefore like to pass this offer to anyone else who would like to take over this cache.
I hope this does not mean you will be giving up caching in Canberra altogether!
Thanks again,
ThomasS.

Due to a change in personal circumstances I will not be able to maintain the cache for much longer. Unless Thomas S would like to take it over, it will be archived some time in the next two weeks. If you have items left here that you would like to retrive please visit the cache and remove them.
Kindest regards, Panic!

A SNIFTER/Hounddog/Dog/Kids/Pregnant Mum friendly cache. All attended, all found. The kids liked the little tea set. We left some happiness, and went for some fun in the nearby park.
yep.........um same....
There was a cool guy near by with a remote controlled plane....gotta get me one of them

Gotta love these 30 second in and out caches ... and no strange looks from any locals ... maybe we were too scary ...

I was very surprised that I found this cache within 5 minutes. Especially seeing as it was the type that is *hidden under a tree with leaf litter on it* type. Every other similar one has taken me several attempts and lots of time looking.
I think I need to develop a special tool for my cache hunts. A ground penetrating radar unit. That would show up those pesky caches. Maybe I could even attach it to my GPSr.
BTW had a good look a Panic's web site. It had a fair amount of pictures and details on this drain system. Definitely worth a look. The web site. Not the drain, but as far as hobbies go I think I will stick to caching.

After unleashing Mtbikeroz on a peaceful and unsuspecting world I thought it was probably time that I logged my first cache. (Yes, I introduced Mtbikeroz to this delightfully little hobby and even loaned him my globalnav to find his first dozen or so caches. I even assisted in laying 'A long way to the top'. After all even a great hairy face git on two wheels deserve to have some fun other than simply terrorising the populace of the national capital.) Anyway on a fine and warm Canberra Saturday afternoon I (OzArcher) collected up my son and new GPSr and headed of into the wilds of suburbia. Conquering 'Temple of Doom' a la Indiana Jones was the plan. What a let down!!!! No ingenious contrivances, deviously set ready to mete out an ugly and messy end to any unwary adventurers. No savage natives lurking in the undergrowth ready with a hot and bubbling cauldron waiting just for us. Nothing, not even a couple of feral suburban kids to fight our way through. The upshot after a short easy walk (comment from the lad: "why did we have to walk so far Dad") we found the cache, scribbled a note in the log, TNLN and depart for our second Cache for the day. A very easy find
Ah, an easy find, even done with the road bike. Yes indeed, beware of teenagers watching you.
Definately no swaps - no time - had to quickly sign book, bury it & dash off before thunderstorm dumped on me.
Coooeeee of I rode, FAST.

Another easy find. Met Geoaware. Our second meeting with live geocachers. Took the bear which seemed to be filling most of the cache container. Left a soldier to guard it and a teacup from 'Down in a Burra'
Well an almost found - we met The Hill 4 right at the site....So we will log it as an almost and try another one.
Also learnt to check and double check the lat log as we enter it...as we were one digit off.
We took and left nothing - and did not sign the book (a mention from The Hill 4 is enough for us.

No problem but plently of people in the vicinity. Left toy gun from Sick Puppies. Took puzzle.
Sorry if you cant read my log entry, as I opened the cache a group of the natives approached from the west. I spent some time investigating the temple to throw them off, but they only attacked me with querying looks.
This cache was an easy find, the hardest part being crossing the road. I suppose those with geokids could park on the smaller road that passes on the other side.
The cache was partly exposed. Thankfully nothing was missing, so I hid it a little better. TNLN.

Drain exploring? In Sydney all the drains are marked on maps and people don’t have to go exploring to find out where they come out.
Went for a walk with the family after dinner (only 1km to cache). found it easily. NTNL. My swap item that I took with me didn't fit.

Quickley found it while i cycled home...
Did not take any thing just loged my find in the book
I did not want to stay there long as there are a lot of people around at that time of day..

Aaaargh – Panic! what are you doing to me. – I wasn’t going to do any more caches tonight! – I just logged “Sick Puppy’sâ€Â, refreshed the screen – and there’s another cache!!! Not only that, but it’s less than 450m from our place! (OK – so maybe just one more). I yelled out that the dog needed some fresh air, and MattS and the dog and I grabbed some torches, and were off. Another easy find – the dog knows this area well – walks past it at least once a week. In fact we walked past here just this morning!
Have seen that drain thing 100’s of times, but never considered it “a tourist attractionâ€Â.
Anyway – that’s it – definitely positively no more caches tonight…
(Unless you’ve planted one in my back yard!).
Took a ball on string game, and left a seahorse.
Thomas.

Arrrgh. I was hoping that maybe some one else might log the most recent 4 first! Okay, if I put one in your back yard you can't log it yourself right . Hmm, if I start putting caches around there I'll eventually locate where you're at. Sooner or later we'll have 'ThomasS's front yard'. Hmm, maybe not.
Arrgh! Not only do you have a super car, the wonder GPSr, compter maps and a teleporter that can detect 2 tonne rocks but now you have a dog that can grab a torch and look for a cache! I bow to your superiour technology and house pets. Well let's see how well you do at Tram Stop 57! I'm betting you don't get that for at least a month!
