This cache has been damaged and I'm too far away to fix it so I'll wind it up I think.

Put the pooch in the kennels for the day and headed off to the National Park and on way back to Yeppoon dropped in for this cache. Had a good look for around 20 minutes but we were unable to locate. Still it wasn't a total loss as it was a great stroll along the beach and we found some nice shells and driftwood to make a mobile.
Got all the way out to within 3.5 klms of the parking area and found that this was part of the National Park and we had the geo pooch on board. Hopefully we will have time to return without Flynn. Might be a good idea to put a 'no dogs' attribute on the listing.
GOTCHA Don't know why I had so much trouble finding this cache.Think I was expecting it to be a different size.Container was full of water and log book totally soaked
Sent e-mail to owner regarding repairs.Enjoyed the challenge

After 3 attempts I still can't find this cache.Thank goodness I live nearby.Beaten by the shifting tides of time and sand.Perhaps some clues????
Staying at Ridges & thought we would take a look. Beach was great. Nice walk.

Boo Hoo - couldn't find this one. We know we were close, but without mapping for the area were at a bit of a loss. Think that we know where we need to go and will try again another day!
Widest dirt road we have ever been on. It was a bit of a surprise as we were expecting the typical narrow dirt tracks that often lead to these sort of areas. Enjoyed the walk and the cache. TNLN. Thanks Georgie & Co
Nice easy find, i was a bit worried that the cahce might have been lost to erosion, but its was safe and sound, if just a tad of dampness in it.

This is one of the caches we found on our visit to the Capricorn Coast. Nice area we did not know existed.
Found this cache fairly easily. GPS had me initally a bit worried as it put me in the sand dunes, and the shifting sands possibility came to mind. But, I have learnt not to trust the GPS wholeheartedly. Expanded the search, and checking for obvious places turned up the cache. Its also fairly easy if you have a local Govt beach permit, as this allowed me to drive to within 100 metres of the cache. Cheers Bundy
Our fifth and last cashe for today. Wished I owned a 4WD after driving up the dirt road a while. Searched for quite a while but couldn't find it

Joe Possum wanted to drop of a travel bug that wants to be near water. But alas, couldn't find the cache. Yes it was after sunset but suggest the shifting sands may have made for a greater degree of difficulty. Georgie and Co, a wonderful beach but terrible road access.
Cache still there, Log book still usable although showing wear from its swim ... followed instructions, nice walk along beach, easy find ...
Had two attempts at trying to find this one. First day got bushed down Fisher's? Rd. Serves us right for not using a map. 2nd attempt found the location but no sign of any cache. Spent a considerable time searching.Visiting from the Atherton Tablelands enjoyed the location even if we didn't find it!
Found it!
More when we are back in Germany.
Thanks and best regards,

Revisited the cache. Due to recent large wave & tide activity it was necessary to reverse the Hilux against the now vertical walls between beach and Dune. From here it was necessary to climb onto the canopy rooof and jump accross to the dune.
The Cache was damp inside. Opened it and left notebook and paper in the sun 'n breeze for a while to dry out.
Took nothing.

Attempted this one in the cold and mizzling rain as we needed to get out. perfect beach and spot for a cache, found it in the most likely spot. Taken 2 marbles and left peg.

Had a wonderful and enjoyable day finding this cache
The junior cachers decided we would have lunch on the beach , a swim , some high jumps off the dunes and then we would take our friend Rodney and show him what this Geocaching was about.
We had a previous visit to this cache with Mitasol on a very wet afternoon but the weather this time was perfect
We had lots of fun disguising the fact that we knew where the cache was , to our friend and we did enjoy the truly wonderful beach
The cache itself had some moisture inside so maybe it needs a new rubber seal
We took the compass and left the " Discovery "

Second find for the day, found by Mrs Mitasol at 5 pm.Had a realy nice walk along the beach.Very heavy storm arrived just as we were putting back the cache.Walked back along the beach for 700m in very heavy rain, completly soaked, but a most enjoyable time.TNSL.
Found cache quite easily, by looking in logical spot. I liked your cache container, which was about 15 metres off on co-ords displayed today.
This is always a special area to visit including the big bay a few Km north of the cache.
Took hair ties and left a compass.
Happy cacheing

2nd attempt with the able assistance of partner Bowerbird.
Easy find this time after reading previous logs. V/obvious
location with GPS about about 5mtrs out. Spent some time
watching the 4WD's avoiding the incoming tide.

Bugger didn't find this one.
Plesant walk along the beach from access point.
Triangulated all over the shot with no success.
Having red the prevous log I suspect it is still there
but not where the GPS was telling me to loock.
Always blame your equipment I say.

A nice warm day with an off shore breeze - a bit off the coords today, about 10m, but it looked like a sure spot to hide a cache. Printed the notes when we left Adelaide early July so we didn't know it needed a new pen and didn't have a spare with us. Took 4 marbles and left some ponytail ties.
After walking through the scrub and along the beach, which was very pleasant, we found that we could drive along the beach. So we went back that way!
Thanks Georgie & Co.

Beautiful morning for a stroll along the beach.
Had the whole place to myself at 7:30am - delightful.
A few marbles fell out of the cache when I opened it - I think I found them all!
Pen didn't work & I didn't have a spare with me, so next person should bring a pen or pencil with them.
Thanks for taking me out here

A very wind blown walk along a deserted beach, led to a nicely made cache container, all in good condition. Robbie the Rat visited but it was too squeasy for his liking.

Had a bad start for this one. Tried to find it from the road. Mossies and green ants chased us back to the car. Ended up finding a lot easier and better way to the cache. We put in 10 marbles in the cache as that was all we could fit in it. Thanks for the cache. Had a lot of fun finding it
